There is no incentive to learn Malay language as everyone speaks English and everyday street Malay language has been bastardised aka Bahasa Rojak. Also due racial religious politics in Malaysia Malay language is synonymous with the Malay and muslim community and thus not a language of neutrality and national unity amongst the different races. It is better Malaysia adopts Indonesian as the neutral language. Indonesian is spoken across the Nusantara archipelago amongst different ethnic and religious groups from Aceh to Papua. Many Malaysian, Bruneian, East Timorese and even Southern Thailand youngsters are exposed to Indonesia's music and tv programs they have adopted many Indonesian words into their Malay language. After all bahasa Indonesia is the more modernised and stsndardised version of Malay spoken on Sumatra and Malaysia. And many Malaysians understand bahasa Indonesia and not the other way round. I thought the Korean people starts to migrate to our country around 2009- 2010 ish (or even during winter sonata) because the kpop or Hallyu wave just started to rise. This is kinda a very new information for me as I learnt it today.
Interesting to see expats moving to Malaysia end up speaking English and not the official national language - whatever this is called. When expats settle in Indonesia they end up speaking Bahasa Indonesia (a standardised and modernised version of Johor-Riau Malay) or even Bahasa Jakarta (creole Malay). And Malaysia not long ago wanted to push Malay language as an official UN language. Bahasa Indonesia is the new lingua franca of the region and Malaysia should adopt Bahasa Indonesia as its national language because it is neutral and spoken by many ethnic groups and religious backgrounds across the Nusantara archipelago.

This is how most Korean looks like. If you're referring towards the kpop idols and actors, we'll those are pick first and foremost for their visuals on top of other things. Also regular working class Korean especially if they're living in Malaysia most likely don't adhere to much of the beauty standards nor lifestyle of Koreans in Korea. In Korea, aesthetics clinic are much cheaper and readily available, compared to Malaysia. For celebrities in SK, they went on for regular treatment some as frequent as once every 1-2weeks, and even regular people that have the means would spend on gym and aesthetics clinics. The cost of living and standards are way higher. If you want the real life of Korean go watch their docu series, those reflect what's the 90% of population life unless you're from privileged family, caehbol, or celebrities. Just like Malaysia they also have the B40, T20, and stuff but the difference is in percentage and IN SK they surely have the top 1%, which is the old money - the likes of descendant of some high official from Jose on dynasty, Samsung heir etc. Also just FYI, it's not weird at all for korean to get a facial procedure to enhance their facial features even for a regular office job 😅that's how competitive their job market is. Like you're smart so what they're tons of others like you so you'll need other things to make you stand out, hence why parents don't afford much kids cause each one would need to be at equipped with numerous classes and lessons.

Wrong. Cuba jadi manusia yang bersyukur. Malaysia has fewer natural disasters than Japan. Both Japan & S. Korea are very close to N. Korea, high risk for war. Malaysia also has a consistent climate, hot & humid all year round, with raining seasons. Malaysia food is also generally speaking, highly palatable to both Japanese & Korea. We have many versions of rice dishes. Malay, Chinese, Indian & Sabah & Sarawak all have their unique rice-based cuisine. And another one, our working culture is a bit laidback & less stressful than both Japan & S. Korea.

I thought the Korean people starts to migrate to our country around 2009- 2010 ish (or even during winter sonata) because the kpop or Hallyu wave just started to rise. This is kinda a very new information for me as I learnt it today.
No, earlier than that. I tought a Korean engineer Bahasa Melayu way back in 1999. He and his buddies lived in Ampang.
It is good to start business in Malaysia and expand to Singapore 😅
Wonderful story
Why so many of you guys angry their girls don't give you a chance? Use it as an opportunity to improve yourself instead of blame them.
@etas1c who said I was angry? That is the problem with written communication as it is void of emotional communication, nuances and physical in real life cues. You only receive 50% of person's language by relying on written communication only.
You are irritated that their girls are not attracted to you and you think it's because of race.
@etas1c Not all. It is only in your 'mind' that you think this way. Just making a comment.

After visiting & learning from RUclips of many countries , we found out that , in the world , we only have persons & citizens , as true ethnicities do not really exist since many have mixed ancestry from intercontinental migrations & mixed marriages from our great grandparents since millennia ago ... Same goes to religious believes , as True Teachings from True Good Angels , True Good Gods , Goddesses & Enlightened Beings are Boundless & Borderless & Universal! What divide us are our man made terminology , languages , customs , traditions , cultures , superstitions & political manifesto which can be upgraded & improved to make the world societies more united & to cooperate to live & progress more effectively & harmoniously together! 😊🙏🕯🌷🌿🍎🍊🌏✌🕊

Korea.
