Yeah lmao 300k at a quant fund is a great way to build up skills and build capital to fund the startup he’s talking about lol. I hope he’s not as stupid as he sounds and is just saying it for clickbait lol
bro, why not work a year or two for 300k? this way you can at least show something in the future on your cv... other than failed startups, and you can also fund yourself not working, having 500-400k saved up means a lot especially for such a goal, prob way more than most of us will ever save up in their lifetime.
@@Juaantonlc is CMU really that good? either way seems like a good idea to work for 1-2 or even 3 years see where it'll take you and then take off with a startup since u can also network in that meantime which will 100% be a good thing for the future startup plans, personally I'd feel way more comfortable starting a startup with 600-700k in my pocket than with less than that
@@Juaantonlc 3 years after graduating is only 24, still basically 0 responsibility to anyone other than themselves. I agree, work the job for a while and save up some money, will make the startup attempt way safer. Plus in the current market its gonna be hard to find a job with nothing on the resume regardless of what school you went to.
Then why not stay the year after that, and the year after that, and the year after that? He'd be much more comfortable having worked there 40 years with a bazillion dollars saved up. 1) He's not planning on his startup failing, if he was he wouldn't start one in the first place. 2) Comfort is obviously not a factor.
@@onetwoval he might not plan on it failing, but the reality is most startups fail, and it usually takes people a few attempts to actually make something that succeeds. So having a safety net is not a bad idea, even if staying in the job is not what he wants long term, it doesn't have to be. Lots of startups start as a side project while working another job so that you can afford to fail.
Bro the family lore goes crazy 😂Quit my job recently to build something and make content too (I don't even know how to code when I quit lol) and I thought I was crazy. But leaving $300k comp on the table is mental and I absolutely love to see it ahhaha. Best of luck!
ignore the haters bro, i believe i’m in the same position, grinding on startups in nyc tbh building a successful startup is like anything else like learning math - you’ll fail initially but eventually you’ll succeed we gonna be elon musk fo sho
Glgl, love to see people chasing after it. I also plan to do a start up at some point in the not too distant future, I already have the idea locked in. I'm in the skill building phase atm w/ school (graduate next June) and then I'll work for a YR or two somewhere before going at it full-tilt, I also main C++, so hopefully a trading firm, the talent and money in trading would definitely help. I also want to move to Japan though at some point, so idk what's gonna happen lmao. Also having Pan or somebody like that w/ a similar mindset is huge, I am kinda just running solo.
you're easily one of my favourite youtubers man. i'm starting in quant in 2 months and i'm excited to see how your journey goes fr. also just signed up to the waitlist ✅
With your humor I can't tell if it's sarcastic but if you really just want to get your family rich again that is so so sad and I've lost so much respect
You’re an adult, so do what you want. I don’t think I can walk away with that much of money on the table. I probably work there and save maybe $500k while working part time for your project. Once $500k is reached, I quit the job and move to super cheap places to live aka parents basement. Then try to live off for 5 years with $500k to fund your project while pumping out 10 startups.
My boi I will absolutely give your program a shot, I'm tryna build some software for my company from the ground up and I am s t r u g g l e Your edits are saucy, very nice very nice
Nahh, I fk with your vids nang but the more I stay in this CS/SWE sphere the more I see people being disillusioned with privileges. Leaving 300K job is absolutely nuts most people would sacrifice all their limbs to make a quarter of that. I wish all the best to your startup though.
Let's fucking go, man I believe in you Btw, if you want it to stand-out - make a junior friendly IDE which has some sort of dictionary with the best coding practices and all the documentation built-in, or video hints with example previews, so you don't ever need to open web to watch indian tutorials Or the dictionary with random generator of projects "What should we build today" "I'm hokage" and it promts to auto-generate "konoha village" 😂
I quit my 9-5 software developer job in 2020. People thought i was crazy. Now I have 3 businesses and I make way more money than I used to, and I don't have to work if I don't want to.

ur face at least looks a lot like ELONs...thats a starter
dropping 300k/yr is absolutely diabolical
Ikr that’s so much fucking money, I couldn’t even make that much in my dreams
it's truly diabolical its insane
Yeah lmao 300k at a quant fund is a great way to build up skills and build capital to fund the startup he’s talking about lol. I hope he’s not as stupid as he sounds and is just saying it for clickbait lol
This guy making video doesn't even deserve 70k a year
His life costs for that are probably much higher, so there is probably not much left from the 300k at the end
With AI in the name it’s already valued at 20 million

Good luck, but do yourself a favor and don't turn into another Elon Musk and instead actually bring value.
Its over for tech bros under capitalism. Please dont turn into Zuckerberg 🙏
crazy how I found this channel by randomly getting interested in reverse engineering 2 years ago, been awesome watching the journey from the sidelines
U offering internships? Ill work for free lololol
that's inspiring

Pear? Sort've like Apple? Man you are a genius!
Btw, you still could've done RUclips while keeping your SWE job.
I think it’s better to have a multiple role models that you pick qualities from, instead of just 1, and trying to be Elon is the perfect example why
I don't know anything about coding, but I like your video so I am rooting for you.
This is SUCH a cool idea.
Idk man code editors are already really competitive with amazing options, all of which feature ai or ai plugins. Good luck though ( seriously).
AI powered code editor is hella competitive, good luck to you man!
I also have the same goal as you, Elon Musk. Will be following your journey
Dude you could have worked for 3 years and got a get out of jail free card with 1 mil
Subbed for Singapore lore
That's some real shit nang! will be rooting for you and pan.
AYYYY NEW VID DROP 🔥🔥🔥

I can make a website for your startup🥰(free)
SINGAPORE MENTIONED!!!! MAJULAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
nang as a singaporean guy who went to cmu and is now in nyc.. can i give u my inheritance..
I hope you already purchased a house, obtained good credit, and in no debt before you started your dream.
everyone is worried about nang dropping his 300k/yr job. he would make more money if he leaves then stay loyal because he can charge more for his job.
So happy to be here for this, been watching you for ages - my favourite RUclips channel. Hoping I can be helpful for this project!
bro u forgot to add blockchain to the name. You missed out on + 20 mill valuation
I left my 100k/year job for my startup and was feeling bad while this guy bro fking left 400k/year
dawg get me a tutorial for at least 150k/yr for remote opportunities plis.
Yes, this is a mistake. but keep going bro or die trying
You are an inspiration
give this guy 12 months and he is gonna be forbes level rich.
Kinda weird obsession with Elizabeth Holmes - I mean Elon Musk bro
elon nang forcefully getting himself in a bad situation so he got better
Yea man, will someday leave this world one day so make the best of what you can while you can
lets goooo nang
Earning 300k/yr and not having any funding.,,
LETS GO ROOTING FOR U 🍐
