Jesse Marsch seems open-minded, willing to listen to core players, while trying to introduce + establish his game within the CMNT. I'm hopeful, he's said all the right things... And you can see it in his eyes, he cares.
Pessimisticly excited about what I've heard, it's just refreshing hearing about a new vision and new way of playing...Different dialogue sometimes leads to new results...Hopefully good ones
@@juliansmith4295yeah i hate when he gets praised as an agitator, agitators get under guys skin and draw penalties but marchand just consistently crosses the line and probably takes as many penalties as he draws. it’s even more scummy of him given that he’s actually a talented player unlike most agitators that are just taking the role to stick in the league
You do know that alot of the players still play in MLS. Namely Hiebert, Kamal, Bombito, Osorio, Choiniere. I'm not sure bringing Richie makes sense since he hasn't played any games since the start of the MLS season.
@@dalmacija32 yeah but I think the point is that we need more Canadians in Europe so that we can truly develop and improve as a nation, that's where the best football is played, not in MLS
I've been excited about this team's potential for years now. My buddies and I spent a fortune to support them during qualifying and in Qatar. I think they've derailed a little over the past year and so let's hope Jesse can get everyone swimming in the right direction again. Herding cats is not an easy thing to do, so we must be patient also. I won't be too disappointed if they don't find success at the Copa America. At the same time, I think they are capable of going through to the semi-finals if they start firing on all cylinders and find a little bit of luck. Chile, Peru and likely Mexico or Ecuador are not insurmountable opponents for this team.
I'll reserve judgement till after the copa America where I expect us to go to the knock out round. What I would like to see is egos put aside. We are a small developing football nation, a slow developing nation. If you're gonna play for Canada it needs to be with the heart, you'll never be compensated like other nations, the CSA is broke, always has been. The cpl is at its infancy, a very long way to go before it breaks even let alone makes profit, until we see stability in the league and decent attendance every season could be its last. More often than not, watching this team play I always felt like some were playing for themselves first and others not so motivated. Which was new to me. I've been watching the men's team since 96 and not once did I feel like the players didn't care. Back then we didn't have the talent we do now but you never had to question the hearts of players like corazzin, or Watson, Fenwick, dasovic, stalteri, peschisolido and the list goes on. They knew the mountain was steep but showed up anyway sometimes at the expense of their clubs who would bench them on their return. This team and the state of the game in Canada is at a different level all together but a couple wrong turns and we can be back to where we were just 15 years ago. If they play for each other and they put it all on the line then the sky's the limit. You carry this nation's hopes and dreams. So give them hell and we the fans will have your back
Marsch seems like he has the right ideas in mind. The only question mark I have about what he’s saying is Osorios role. Osorios best days are behind him and he hasn’t been the same player since his concussions before the World Cup. He should be looking at Eustaquio to be that leader in the midfield
No Ali Ahmed is the only question mark for me. He has more ability to take players on with the ball at his feet than most of the roster announced today.
After the shalacking at the WC, the confidence in Team Canada 🇨🇦 is low. We need to win a game which means scoring a goal. So for United Moose & Beaver, lets score some goals, guys! The Ice Ballers Cometh ⚽
Waiting for the 3-4-3 from Jessie. Davies on the left wing, David in the middle, and Tajon on the right wing with those other guys behind them. Gegenpress for 90 minutes.

Laryea is the Brad Marchand of this soccer team.. gotta have him there agitating the opponent into committing silly fouls
Works in concacaf. He does that to Messi he’ll get a red card.
I can see where you're going with this, but Brad Marchand is a complete arsehole and a dirty player. Richie's more of an Esa Tikkanen.

Love what I see. We need more players playing in Europe. MLS is good but not great.

Idk about Osorio being the brain in the middle, I think Eustaquio is much more suited for that role
Remember he has to exaggerate the talent from mls. Oxo couldn’t play for Portos b team.

Probably a guy with limited minutes that can help close out matches, but a good leader in the locker room.
I hope the only reason Marsch didn’t call up Sam Adekugbe is because he’s injured. He’s as good or better than some of the fullbacks called up.
Big Adekugbe and Whitecaps fan here, he hasn't been good since he's come back to the Caps from Europe.
He’s injured

Agreed. I want to see Ahmed on this roster after his performance at last year's Copa America.
Has been questionable these past few games
Yes, please go watch CPL. There is some talent in that league.
I don’t think a lot of people know what the word “magnanimous” really means…
Well probably in 3 to 4 year the tables might turn for Canada
It's not that complicated
Can't wait to see Canada under Marsch. Jesse's maturing as one of the best coaches in the world.
Where is Sam Adekugbe? His speed and passing is missing.😮

THERE IS NO WAY HE WAYS CALLED FOR DUTCH AND FRENCH STAFF WEDNESDAY 😂

Hopefully Biello still has a job at some capacity. If not, Hopefully the CPL gives biello a shot..I doubt another MLS club would currently.
He was Jesse's assistant before, so I would be surprised if he isn't part of the staff.
The rumor going around is that he is staying. Jessie, for the most part, said as much at the end.
We'll trade you berhalter for Marsch
