Things I loved: Stud buck, nice bull, sweet Seekins rifle (gonna be my next purchase), great footage. Thing I did not love: taking a shot at a deer that is skylined. I know someone who was hit in the arm by a stray bullet. We are lucky he is still with us. It's just not worth the risk. All in all, I enjoy watching your content; keep up the good work 👍
Thanks Ryan, and I’m glad your friend is ok. In the heat of the moment it is so hard to make those judgement calls, I felt that I could see tree cover and not pure daylight behind that deer but it was also such a split second decision. Definitely something I have always tried to consider, but it’s so easy to get caught up in the moment. Anyway appreciate your comment and thanks for watching!
People do not realize how remote some of these areas are, also the sheer size of wilderness that is being hunted. People also way overestimate what rifle rounds are capable of, bullets run out of steam fast especially after a pass through on an animal. Use good judgment and be safe. P.S. eastern or midwestern hunting is not the same as western hunting.
What rifle sling is Bryant using to carry his rifle forwards instead of backwards. Is that a separate EXO attachment? Need to get one of those because that looks way better than my current setup
Thank you! We use Kowa spotters and our favorite size is the 77 & 88mm. The 88 does slightly better in low light due to the bigger objective. It’s tough to say an exact distance because no matter the objective size as it gets darker your distance is going to diminish. From a master vantage At first glassing light we have no problem picking up elk 5 miles away. Hope that helps

So much for, "Know your target and what's beyond". Shooting over a skyline is completely inappropriate.
Why would you take a skyline shot? Not safe.
If that buck is standing there like that, ain’t nobody behind him. Maybe if there was, it was the bike guy.
What state is this looks like co if so your not supposed to be using that bike . But I'm sure you knew that .
Okay, I’ve never seen a twisted barrel like that. That is way cool! Please share some details on your rifle! 😊
Seekins precision Ph2 , pretty cool looking for sure!
Thanks man!
Awesome opener! Bonus on the huge bull and buck, filling the freezer ❤🎉❤
Awesome video! Love seeing the hard work you guys put in, keep it up👊
Thank you! Will do!
Awesome video! The joy of hunting, how things can happen so quickly!
Strong work amigos!!! A couple great animals right there!!! Keep em coming 💪💪
Thank you! Couple more good videos from the 2022 season are in the works
Great video!
You gave me flash backs of so many animals tied off through the years to keep them from sliding to the bottom!
Well done guys!!
Thank you! They always seem to go down in the best spots haha
@@talltimberproductions theres no doubt brother
At 66 years old there had been way to many
Lol
Great flick fellas! What an awesome hunt and a whole lot of packing to round it out!!
Thanks, Glad you enjoyed it!
Solid video! Love having some content from the PNW!
I want to shake the hand of the guy that built that trail.
Great hunt. Could you tell me who’s handgun holster you were sporting? Looks like something that might work for me. Thanks.
Thank you! we had a alien gear and a ivory holster. The Molle hip belt on the exo k4 pack will take a lot of different styles with no issues.
i really enjoy ur videos because here in my country we dont have such huge animals to hunt :D. (sorry for bad english)
Great hunt. Did you guys ever find the broken tips from the bull?
Thank you! No we did not. The bull was broken on that side when we spotted him, so we assumed it happened earlier during the rut.
@@talltimberproductions didn't notice that in the video so I assumed he got broke up on the fall.
This is my comment. And I am here commenting 🤣 Good video 🎉

Hey Travis, That’s the Kifaru universal gun bearer, works great on the Exo as long as you make sure to get the universal one.
@@talltimberproductions awesome thanks!
Well done, congrats.
What spotting scope you used guys, how far can you see clearly during lowlight conditions?

Don't know how it could get much better than that !
Action packed double, nice!
Thanks! Definitely wasn’t expected but we were sure pumped about how it played out.
Good hunting guys!

What cailber are you using?
On the Buck was a 6.5PRC and on the Bull was a 300 Win Mag.
Great video what a great day
Thank you!
Nice!
What I’d give to go on a big elk trip…
Skyline shot seriously???? You’re the guy that gives good hunters a bad name.
Wicked sweet guys
don't shoot the poor animals. This is animal killing :(
