Marvelous tying station, fly, and video! And a pretty impressive beard. We've been having a cool June In Connecticut, too, which is good for the fish but not the farms. Tight lines sir - subscribed.
Absolutely abysmal weather George. Was up the River Lee last evening, yes as you described. Fish are feeling it too , not much in the line of a solid rise . Great tying tutorial as per usual 🇮🇪 Slán leat a chara 🇮🇪
Unbelievably cold weather, never experienced anything like it,i play trad and was playing music during last week and even last night,my fingers were freezing when i arrived, 20 minute walk, let's hope it warms up
Hi George, can I be forward and make a suggestion? When I have tied a fly, I try it by dropping it in a glass of water to get a general impression. I appreciate its not the same as running water, be it riffle or glide but, I think its reassuring. Always enjoy your videos be they out on the water or at the bench. cheers
A glass of water has a much higher surface tension than larger areas, hence it gives a false impression of floatability or otherwise, glad you enjoy the vids Peter.
Hi George would there be any hope of you tying some fly for the river for me please im very much a fan of the river fishing for trout and would love to increase my chances on the river many thanks Conor murphy

Is there many places to fish for trout on the Lee? Been living in the city for 3 years and have attempted to contact clubs in the area with no joy.

Would u ever use a amadou patch to dry out your flies? Just wondering if it’s worth buying one
I do indeed,a useful product.
What sort of hook are you using here?
Very light extended curve.
...farts @ 8:01 lol, love this guy!
And then the search for your comment began. George didn’t even try to blame the dog.
