    Marvelous tying station, fly, and video! And a pretty impressive beard. We've been having a cool June In Connecticut, too, which is good for the fish but not the farms. Tight lines sir - subscribed.

    Absolutely abysmal weather George. Was up the River Lee last evening, yes as you described. Fish are feeling it too , not much in the line of a solid rise . Great tying tutorial as per usual 🇮🇪 Slán leat a chara 🇮🇪

      Is there many places to fish for trout on the Lee? Been living in the city for 3 years and have attempted to contact clubs in the area with no joy.

    Hi George, can I be forward and make a suggestion? When I have tied a fly, I try it by dropping it in a glass of water to get a general impression. I appreciate its not the same as running water, be it riffle or glide but, I think its reassuring. Always enjoy your videos be they out on the water or at the bench. cheers

      @springerspanielful  2 года назад

      A glass of water has a much higher surface tension than larger areas,hence it gives a false impression of floatability or otherwise,glad you enjoy the vids Peter.
