I just want to thank you for this invaluable information - I just purchased the exact same unit and was scratching my head over the almost completely useless instructions (even Ikea instructions seem 100x clearer), very poorly written, or should I say translated... So "thank you"! It all makes sense now after watching you do it. And BTW, I laughed thru this entire video at your creative use of the same made-up names of the major parts of this unit that I used while trying to figure it out ("thingy", "whatcha-ma-call-it", etc.) only I wasn't nearly as calm about it as you were! Much appreciated!
I bought the exact same kit. Identical to yours. The instructions were horrible. This was very helpful and your delivery is quite amusing but smooth. Thanks.
I just used this method today and the instructions were excellent. If I would have had to rely on the instructions that came with the kit I would have dug a hole to China and tossed the whole thing in it. Funny guy too. Thanks
Thanks for taking the time to do this. Our warehouse needs to start banding pallets and I was trying to make sense of the process & tools. This was just what I was looking for. Thank you 👍
I just bought one of these things and the instructions ARE AWFUL!!!! Just like you said and the commenters on Amazon stated. Rather then fight this things, I looked on RUclips and your video was great! Thank you!
Fantastic, I bought a similar setup last year, was confused cause it would not tighten enough, so set it aside until I watched your video today. I am now a strapping fool. Just needed a visual, and the instructions were worse than useless. THANKS Again.
Thank you, my boss was showing me how to do it today, well he's left handed, he does it upside down and backwards...it's been awhile since I've banded any material, but you reminded me how, thanks again.
This is great. I often have to ship heavy items back for warranty refurbs/inspections/storage and tape just doesn't cut it when the thing is 80kg boxed. Was really good to see how this all works and what exactly I need (rather than what someone might try to tell me I need so I buy their old inventory lol). Thanks pal.
Corrections: 1: After you put end 1 into the keeper, open the handle to the upright position. This opens up the cutter. If you leave the handle down, you'll never get the strap through the cutter. 2: There is no need to put the crimp on at the beginning. After you properly tension the strap, you can let go of the tool and put your crimp on. 3: No need to cut the strap to length 1st. Just pull enough strap out to go around your pallet/box and use that end as the 1st end. Also, be very careful with the strap, especially the nylon type, as it you can get the worst paper cut of your life!
Thank you for the "corrections". 1: The tool I have is spring-loaded and opens when you let go of it. I was obviously able to get the strap through the cutter as I demonstrated doing so twice. 2: As I said at 1:14, I prefer to put it on at the beginning. Working it over the strap from the side seems harder than just slipping it on from the end. 3: I never suggested cutting to length. In this video, I am working with the strap attached to a full spool the whole time.
I still have it, and I'm going to hang on to it for future use. Even though I have way more strap and clips than I'll ever use, it's not worth the trouble to pack up and ship them.
hah! I am the .001% of the people out there who needed this instruction video. Very helpful step by step. Thank you.
And that's how all things should be explained - Thank you for taking the time and making this How-To video.

A quick visit to RUclips University saved me loads of time. Thank you, professor!

Thank you for the time and patience to simplify this for me. God bless you!!
I got these things with no instructions so you saved me a ton of time. Thanks😊
Thanks for doing this vid, the instructions included with the product were as foggy as they were in pictures.
Nice job. Thanks for figuring it out and sharing it with us.
This is absolutely hilarious Chris. You did a great job. Thanks so much.
THANK YOU!!! After 1 hour trying to follow their directions. Got it now!

Very nice. I just bought this tool and will be using it as shown in the video. Thx
Got it! I bought one in a carboot i found it very easy to use Great video
Yes, helpful; but how do you control the left over strapping from unraveling? I used to have a steel strapping system; much easier to use.
Thank you! Very helpful, my coworkers and I spent more time than this video takes trying to figure it out/remember how
Thank you so much for doing that video, now I know how to use the strapping tool. You are awesome 👏
Thank you much. Simple and to the point

I just bought one and mine came without any Instructions 😮
Do you still have the kit and are you interested in selling the remaining materials with the tools?

Thank you for sharing. Would save a lot of time! #2021rmb
The angle of this video is not as good as the other two I watched especially when you need to insert the plastic straps inside the red thingy.
Sorry to have let you down.
Clip
