- Finally uploading a video in 4K! Welcome back to another video everybody! I finally took the time to edit a video on my home computer and im happy with how it came out, but the extra storage on the computer meant that i was able to upload this one in 4K! In this one i get pulled into pine creek weighbridge on my way up to Brisbane from Sydney. Great episode, just so you know, when your moving there’s a lot of static and crackle in the audio . Once your stopped it’s fine. Also with the camera in the pass seat, I suggest you swivel it a bit to the left, so we see less of your bunk and more out the windscreen. 👍 cheers

Well done dude. You have nailed it with this one mate, you had a bit of everything in it. Good camera angles, lovin the pov camera it picks up everything mirrors, dash, view, and uhf chitchat. Love the cometary makes you feel like we are there with you. 20 years ago when I was driving in Sydney i drove the pacific a lot, your trip in the day reminded me why i drove it at night. Not sure if your going to the Brisbane truck show but you would be doing a lot of us who can’t go a favour if you took the camera along with you. Keep on trucking brother

I'm an introvert and it's so calm and relaxing driving at night with no one else on the road. That's one of the things I like about Australia. 10% of the US population so must be much less traffic.
I guess so but believe me just because less people on the road doesn't mean we don't have the stupid drivers , less traffic just makes you see them better lol

How good is that road Woolgoolga to Ballina. Remember travelling over the old section numerous time and wondering whether or not the new road would be completed by the time we had our next trip. Just have to get the Coffs bypass constructed BUT was reading the other day a landholder is taking the authorities to the High Court 😮. Thanks for the video

Another good as bakery in Warwick to can't remember the name of it but monster pies and bloody good sandwiches. Also, great mix-up of the cam angles. I'm wondering if you could try to get it more on a 45. It gets you from the side and little of the front view if that makes sense?
Also, I wonder if you could get away talking in video using your Bluetooth head set? I get their guidelines and rules, but I feel talking as you are recording is no different and still as less distracting. Maybe I'm wrong

There isn't a massive runup for trucks coming back onto the highway, generally make a call so any trucks can either slow down or change lanes for the truck

Mate not my place to say but give up thoses bloody smokes I no sometimes the stress gets bad so having something in your hand helps I use to have dise or a squizy ball seem to work

Hey mate question about the buttons on your gear stick do they all but shift into the gear you are clicking it into mine in my k104b the up buttons doesn’t work but just keen to see how it is actually ment to work
Nah mate the ultrashift is pretty spot on it takes it’s time shifting but goes to whatever gear I want it to 👌

On the dash of your K2 that long skinny thing with the lights blinking is your ibright monitoring device for if you take your eyes off the road??? And does your driver's seat vibrate as well, if so we have the same tool in trucks in NZ.
Can you explain if the same set-up you have ??.

Not at all mate it only looks small in comparison to the rest of the truck it’s a big window 👍

Still have a lot of manual trucks mate it’s probably 50/50 👍

I’ve found Optus to be really good mate 👍 I get coverage in a lot more places than I used to with Vodafone

It's an infra red laser type deal that checks where your eyes are pointed. In the trucks I drove with them , there is a seat shaker and noise alarm attached so if you close your eyes for too long or it thinks your falling asleep it sets the whole lot off .. scares the crap out of you . Supposed to be a safety feature but I hated them because ours used to go off for no reason ( well I thought so lol) Funny story , the first truck I drove with one of these, I punched the machine off it's stand when it went off for what I considered no reason .. Oh the thing has a video / live monitoring system too and the boss can connect to it at any time and watch you while your driving. Like I said I hated them..

Sydney to Melbourne ch15 (overnighters channel) or ch40.
Channel 40 for just about everywhere else in Australia.
