- Finally a weekly vlog! to me the channel feels boring without these im so happy ive finally uploaded one this week. In this video, I load up a B-double in Brisbane and take that down to Sydney, stopping in at the Nambucca BP to do a food review(seperate video). Srom sydney I load up a single and head back to Brisbane only to need a rescue mission back to the brisbane depot because i was too fatigued to drive the truck! I hope you guys enjoy this one im really happy with it as always thank you all for continued support we as a community really are growing astronomically who knows how far we're gonna take this. Lets go for a drive!#trucking #kenworth #k200 #australia #trucklife #cabover #cummins #roadtrain #vlog #brisbane #sydney #travel
Great thumbnail Jacques!! Don’t stress about what and how much content you get out, your work and welfare should always come first. We’re all just glad we get to tag along and absorb the positive vibes. Keep up the great work and have a happy and safe Easter.
A great comment on fatigue at the end - and that is the whole reason behind the log books!
We can't get enough good truckies today for our losing any needlessly!
Recognising fatigue is difficult - accepting it that close to home is heroic!
The big transport companies are doing a great job supporting drivers (mind you the penalties for not doing so would be cripling).
There is never a standard shift in your line of work - things change all the time on the road. Every Job is a new adventure.
I love your vids.
Well done 👍 for admitting you can’t drive. 20 years ago we wouldn’t have the guts to say that to a employer as they would have laughed at us and said toughen up and drive. Looking forward to the Saturday night live, what time do think you’ll be starting.
Thanks mate yeah that’s the first time I felt I was too tired to drive lucky I work for a good mob 👍 I’ll be live around 8pm
Awesome son ... loved it ... proud of your decision and ur company for supporting you .. look after u for all of us❤
Your decision to call it quits at the end is what makes you a good driver. Wise choice and sends a smart message to always drive safely.
Cheers mate appreciate it 👍
Mr Cross you wonder why your popular??? It's because you are a genuine bloke, taking safety seriously is way cooler than people think!! Especially when your just trying to get home to your family!
Thanks brother always supportive 👍
That was me brother haha, was good meeting you. Enjoy your content and your hustle bro. Keep the solid work up 🙏👌
Good to meet you bro thanks for stopping 👍
My company is the exact same at the moment, you know within yourself when you can't drive and its great to have the backing up if/when you need it. Good stuff as always!
Smart stuff mate really smart blokes drive big rigs tired and they end up wrecked
That’s it mate 👍
I like the videos you make they are awesome and keep Up the good work
Definitely love the over the road part where you double split,
Tight but ya made it look easy brother,
And gave us a decent shot of your whole combination
Subscribed dude….
You are doing a great job with your videos, keep doing what you are doing and don't doubt yourself 👍
Another great video as always 💪🏽
Cheers brother 👍
@@crossfamilytrucking can’t wait for the live tomorrow night
That truck at 14:05 infront of you was me bro, literally didn't know it was you I thought it was someone else, keep up the hard mahi bro 💯
Mr Cross you nailed the camera angle and the trailer swap like a pro!!! Awesome footage!
A lot of people don't know how much driving you guys have to do to keep food on the shelves. Thanks for showing us, you are really appreciated. Your company must be good to allow a rescue. Well done for calling it in.
Cheers brother appreciate it 👍
Loving the vids mate, great to see some recognisable local roads around Bris too! Keep doing your thing!
Jacques I'm really enjoying watching your blog and videos i look forward to the day you set up more camera view's from outside your truck.Stay safe on the roads

Hey mate, another great vid. I’ve gone back to the beginning of your channel and watching through, awesome. Great to see you met one of your followers and good on him for making the effort too! Maybe I’ll see you one day in Melbourne, I drive past DW in Derrimut all the time. Good to see you progressing bro! See you on the road, look out for a flash, beep and wave! 😁🚛
Good old Kenny goes well for overtaking, enjoy your time off with the family.
Yeah she cracks along mate 👍
Your so lucky in that you have rollback a trailers I wish my tautliners were like that haha
And do your self a favour get your self a travel buddy style oven it’s a life saver hot meals when ever you want them 👌🏻
I’ll check it out brother 👍
I use to be a traffic controller at exit 89 Pacific motorway (Qld) and my head use to be so close to the trucks when I put the cones out from the back of the 2 tonne truck
Yup I always feel like we get way to close!
Nothing you guys can do when there's a cement barrier on your driver side
Hey mate, enjoyed the vlog, but the extra vids were also good. Gives a bit of a change and adds more flavour to the channel.
CFT..... love it keep up the good work
Always had an interest in truckies driving past them on the highway. Loving the content bro keep it up, positive vibes and good times on your channel🤙🏾
Thanks brother 👍

Cheers mate 👍
Never rains until u split a double hahaha
Lov your vid’s man. . Drive a K104 with a C15 in it myself to Surdex steel branches Albury, Shepparton & Bendigo out of Dandenong south. Not a fan of auto shift trucks for a few reasons. . but the way you operate that auto shift I need to watch more of 👍👍 keep safe brother
Hey Mate should have pulled into Chinderah BP for a works burger 😂😂😂😂
Sounds like the next food review brother are they open Monday night?
@@crossfamilytrucking 24 hrs
Good one you did the right thing stopping
Cheers mate 👍
The forever ending roadworks at Coollingatta lol. Safe travels bro.
Thanks brother 👍
Another cool vlog Jacques..
notice in your trip down to Sydney the gateway over bridge where a container truck rolled over,my brother who drove for TNS logistics was passing under just after it happened..
happy Easter weekend bro
Yeah I got caught in that traffic too
Mate took me an hour to get out of Brisbane 🤷♂️ thanks for watching
On a side note, if you've never tasted Cape Grim beef, do yourself a favour and try it. It's the most tender, melt in your mouth steak I've tasted.
I think I will after this comment brother never tasted it 👍
@@crossfamilytrucking A rump is as tender as a fillet and a fillet is like butter. Let us know what you think.
Excellent video Bro, absolutely love the engine noise.
Cheers mark appreciate it 👍
Don’t apologise bloke. You will get videos out when you get time . All good
Cheers nags 👍
Loving your videos champ! I work out of Pendle Hill but in a rigid. Would be awesome to meet you one day!
Been to that Pendal Hill place a few times to do deliveries , that weigh bridge is a killer with the high steel sides ( the freightliner steps cannot be opened there) and the loading dock is a bitch if there are a few trucks in there , very difficult to turn around. Great video. thanks.
My exact feeling about that place mate lol cheers 👍
Great vid mate, keep those vlogs coming 👌👍✌️👏
Cheers mate will do 👍
Thanks!
Loving the content mate 👌 you have pushed me to pursue my dream in trucking and will be on the road end of may. Can't wait mate keep up the good vids.
Awesome to hear mate good to see someone giving it a crack my email is crossfamilycontent@gmail.con let me know how you go 👍
Mate you don’t have to apologise us . We just jump on for the ride we you are able to get some footage
Crackin vid mate, thoroughly enjoy your content. When you are winding up or down your trailer legs on the street have you considered grabbing a collapsible traffic cone to keep in the cab for those times? $12 from bunnings... money well spent in my books. Great call on the fatigue area. I drove for 17 years now I'm in fleet management and I will tell you that is one of the smartest calls a driver can ever make. When one puts the safety of others and the company's reputation over saving a few dollars it speaks volumes of their character. Bring on the next vid!
I’ve got one mate but in the rush of doing the job I always forget that I have it 😂 cheers mate next video will be up Wednesday 5pm(hopefully)
Best wishes to you and your family mate 😊
You have glad hands so much better then quick connect for air never had them back in 2017
We’re changing to quick release very soon 🤷♂️
@@crossfamilytrucking dam glads are way better
I finally got to drive a semi Thursday for my company hopefully get in full time driving
Nice mate how did you go?
👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
21:30 old or not trailers genrally come from the factory with borked wiring.
Hey, that food review was spot on. On another matter, thinking of starting a go fund me page to help you get your truck provided you took your cap off for a whole Vlog, how about that eh🤣
Brother I’m never without a hat 😂 only when I’m asleep haha
As always mate 👍👍
You need to buy yourself a few cones so you can block off the shoulder behind your A trailer
good content brother, inspired me to get back in to class 5 , watching all the way from the hawkes bay brother,
would love to give aussy a crack,
was it hard to go from here to over there?
i also have misses , an 2 daughters
Chur my brother I’m from Flaxmere good to hear from you! Get into it brother not sure what class 5 is but if you come over here it’s not hard to get a job we’ve got drivers that come over from nz and got a license straight away 👍
I always encourage people to move over here it’s hard at first but when you get on your feet and build a life my brother it’s so fruitful 👍
mean brother, thanks for that , il look into it, and class 5 here in nz is the heavest licence you can hold , i currently drive a scania 640 b train combination ... your live feed tonight was cool as dude, i look forward to tuning in again 😎 happy easter brother , to you an your beautiful family, stay safe out there cap.....
Hey Jaco! Great blogs mate keep up the great work… I’ll see you on the road brother I’ll be in the Mack! Pulling Compas B Double set from Newcastle to Coffs and then return 5 days per week.. I’ll check in on the 2 way when I see a Don Watson I usually pass or get passed on a nightly bases 😂

I know the truck you drive mate will look out for you on the highway! 👍
Being it on can’t wait
Thanks brother always supportive 👍
@@crossfamilytrucking all ways man love the content
Hi there bud. ANGUS here from NZ again.
Can you demonstrate how the air lines connected and disconnect from your truck and the two trailers please. Here in NZ we have a different set-up coupling our air lines on our truck and trailer units and b- trains units. They are call duo & tri matics couplers with two or three air lines join together to a aluminium coupling device with a handle which you pull down and fits together.
Need to show you by photos.
Being a ex Kiwi you might seen this set up while you were still living in NZ or maybe not.
I drive a Kenworth K200 10-axle truck and train unit here in the South Island curtain sider carting general freight. I can email you a couple of photos of my unit.
Enjoy your videos. Well done. Cheers.
Sure mate I’ll demonstrate how they work very simple system cheers for watching 👍
Thanks mate
hey bud. love the content. can you explain to the people why you had to roll back your A trailer when it was loaded and you had to unhook it . not everyone may know .keep up the great work..
Will do mate 👍 cheers for the feedback
Great video ..stay safe mate
Cheers brother 👍
Love seeing my area where I live on RUclips I live at darra
Dont sweat the video timing they're done when they're done, life happens. If you really feel obligated upload a 1 min video saying 'its late' but even this isnt needed. Everyone understands I'm sure.
Bro that view was mean watching you split your trailers, awesome job brother
Rode mics are used a lot on youtubers, just a thought.
Yeah I know mate I’ll get there eventually 👍
Great video. As a non truck driver but appreciate and respect what you do, is there a chance that some mug with a prime mover would pinch your trailer after you split them?
Never mate the community is really good you could leave trailers on the side of the road for months nobody would touch them 👍
Really enjoying the videos great work
Cheers Judith 👍
How do you like the auto mate?
Yeah good mate it’s a lot less effort than the manual still enjoy the manual though 👍
Where u from
Hawkes bay nz mate 👍
The all Same 👎👎👎👎👎👎
That’s because my job never changes mate 🤷♂️ you’re welcome to not watch 😂
