Carter Conlon is the senior pastor of Times Square Church in Manhattan, an interdenominational church with over 10,000 people in attendance, representing over 100 different nationalities and 700 home satellite fellowships worldwide.
In 1994, Carter Conlon was invited by David Wilkerson (author of the best-selling book The Cross and the Switchblade and founding pastor of Times Square Church) to help pastor Times Square Church. He became the senior pastor in 2001. From the very beginning, Conlon’s heart has always demonstrated a passion for prayer. On one occasion God prompted Conlon to call together the churches of New York City to congregate for one hour of prayer on the streets of Manhattan.

As I heard this message and the experience of pastor Carter to be freed from tormenting thoughts, the arguments that the Evil one put on my mind this week were demolished... praise be the Lord

Jesus, take away any selfishness out of body and mind. I would rather lose all worldly possessions and starve than to be selfish and horde a single thing for myself. I want to be a servant and a pauper so that pride and arrogance do not make me pious. I am nothing compared to Jesus. I am a worm, crawling in the dust and I know it. But Jesus, You have the power to transform me and make me a vessel of Your likeness. Transformed by the Holy Spirit, renewed everyday, and washed in the blood of Your Sacrifice Jesus. Break me and wash away myself. Make me who You want me to be, oh Jesus. So that Your Will be done (not my foolish will or whims), and Your Kingdom come, on Earth as it is in Heaven! Thank you Jesus!

Walking through the valley of weeping, pastor Conlin this message touched my soul in such a powerful way. When you said the words.. mother's have son's in prison.. I wept so much the Holy Spirit grabbed me, you see my son is in prison and I've been trying to get him an early release and clemency, I've been alone in my fight for him and I have no money I live in my car I have no home for him to come to. I've wanted to give up but if I do my son won't have anyone to show him Jesus and how great our God is. My siblings have left me to face the world alone without shelter, Satan attacks me and torments me everyday but I trust that God will answer my cries, everyday and night I cry not only for my son but I feel the pain in others and at times the pain of the world. I grow weary and need prayer, I need prayer warriors that won't stop. I'm hanging on that's all I have at this point in my life.
Nemo for life: I will be praying for you my sister 🙏❤ I cried when I read your comment. God is with you. I was in a very Dark and Horrible place for over 23 years. I was addicted to cocaine, heroin,crack,methadone pills, muscle relaxers and Benzodiazepines just to come down to sleep, after days and weeks of no sleep. I was in and out of jails and Hospitals. I began praying for God to take me😪 I wanted to die. I would mix large amounts of coke and heroin trying to die! I became soo angry with God for not letting me DIE. I was in jail AGAIN in October of 2016 and was in with the same cell, with the same person, from many years prior. I fell to the cold concrete and began praying and suddenly I heard a soft/gentle voice say to me "You have to leave this place (Ohio) and go far away or you will die here soon" I had never heard his voice before😢😢 I was released a few days later from jail. I realized I didn't want to die and I began packing enough clothes and my personal products at home, at the same time I was attending my court dates and paying off fines..... I left Ohio December 23 2016 and I have NOT touched a Drug since!🙏🙏 God delivered me from my Addictions and has brought me to a place I could never imagine being.... All the Glory is his🙏🙏🙏❤❤ He is taking care of you and your son ( It may not seem like it) When it's Gods will, he will Deliver you and your son and he will restore you both with more than you ever have had! Keep praying and as I said I will be praying for you both... Please don't give up. Keep enduring. I know it's hard but God Truly hears all our prayers🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

In the valley of Elah the only brook to pick of 5 round stones was in the valley. The dried up stream is there today w rounded stones. After Saul put a obstacle in front of David VIA a large mans armor. David took armor off picked up his staff and walked on to the battle field then pick up 5 stones. So he trusted God to give him his ammunition.
God will give us the ammunition which is the Word of God. We have to step on to the battlefield and Trust God to give us his words to speak to non believers. With a pinch of salt.
