I really like how this implies that it's Gold's fault this curse is happening. Almost as if his Pride got in the way of Red's life or that a pokemon god is punishing Gold's sin of Pride and Red got in the mix because of Gold. Either way, I really enjoyed this well put together lyrical adaptation
