Hi I have one of these, had it a good few years when I got it I fitted a new pot and piston and a carb kit, it did also have an intermittent cut out but good secondhand coil sorted that. Got it out the other day it’s been in the shed ages and it fired right up, throttle trigger was the only thing that had stuck all sorted now. I also have a TS360AVS I’ve had in bits for 3 years I’m back on that again to get it sorted, I am featuring that on my channel if your interested. First part will be up in a few days. But lots of other repair stuff on there, Good video subbed🙂👍
I have the exact saw .... 1st thing 65 lb compression is bad... I just replaced the jug and piston and mine showed 130 lb. Compression... The noise you heard may have been the piston hitting the compression tester.. Mine done the same thing because it uses a very short spark plug and you have to use a short tester adaptor to keep it from hitting the piston....
Where does the throttle linkage go? I picked one of these up the other day, and it wasn’t connected, have took the cover off, and the linkage doesn’t look long enough
The throttle linkage operates on the right hand side of the carburettor as your looking down the saw from the rear air filter. Looking at the removed top cover from the underside It’s a piece of formed wire that sits in between the two channel grooves machined into the cover. It’s should sit around 20mm away from the case.Hope this helps.
The throttle linkage doesn't really connect to anything it just pushes on the round thing on the card you basically just place the top cover on the engine whilst like pushing the trigger over and over until you feel the linkage pushing on the round thing
I’ve covered the throttle linkage in my latest Ts350 video, the throttle linkage on the carb is 180 degrees out in the video and it didn’t engage at all. Rounded part goes to the front of the saw it’s easy to remove and rotate. Hope this helps.
@@TheRepairer cheers man much appreciated, where do I start for no spark lol the ignition coil is buried, haven’t worked on a disk cutter before, I used to do lawnmowers
Check for spark with the kill switch in both positions, I think it can easily be rotated 180 degrees in the casing and use a good known spark plug and keep the base of the spark plug in contact with the cylinder for the earth. There should by a spark even with the kill switch disconnected.
@@TheRepairer why would you have spark in both positions? That's what's happening with the one I picked up but it will not run! Looks like someone changed the pull cord. Any info would be great
Assuming you fuel filter is clean it’s a possibility that the diaphragm in the carb has hardened or failed in some way as this pumps the fuel. Carb rebuild kits are inexpensive.

Yes I’m always interested in new repair videos, Your now added in my sub list too.
My Compression Reading on my 2 TS350’s is 130-140 PSI 😀 I Eliminated the Cylinder Gskt and Used Dirko Sealant
Wow that’s some nifty work, is this a saw tuning tip?
@@TheRepairer An Engine Building Tip 😊
What kind of blade for saw size and model
I’ve used both 300mm stone and steel cutting blades in these saws they should accept 350mm but these blades cost more for some reason.

If you get the time bud, don’t suppose you could do a quick video of it, it doesn’t look right, mine is just the 350 version, also has no spark too
I’ve got a reassembly video I plan to do soon hopefully at the weekend, I will cover it.

Mate if you have no spark a new aftermarket coil will cost you about 80 quid

Man...I cannot get fuel to the spark plug...stripped everything, cleaned everything, would carb be f#cked?
