It sounds like "bittersweet" would describe your feelings about leaving the village house behind. You've all been in so much upheaval and rootlessness for the last couple of years, it seemed as if the house felt like a bit of stability in a new country.
your videos give me a lot of perspective - it must be so hard to move around so often, but you guys handle it beautifully and always find the best parts of the situation. It is really calming to watch and makes me feel better about the world!

It seems like the most practical decision and at this point you have to consider other things, like where would the girls go to school in the near future, residency status, etc. I hope things work out for you on your next move.❤

AND one more: sorry that the house did not work out but it seems like the practical and right decision. Plus it needed a lot of work considering you have a young family.

@@amychen2504 The restaurant they're eating at is called the Oasis Club. It's basically the main attraction of the village and the last stop before the David Gareji monastery which is a popular tourist attraction. So yes, they do get a lot of international tourists there.

In America... when your hubby/family/friends help renovate on your home/property, it is called "Sweat Equity" if you paid someone else it would have cost much more. So when you sell it, is when it "pays off" for all his hard work... if that makes sense. It is a sense of pride and hardworking he put into that house and u got the money back plus part of his heart and sweat is forever in that house. ❤🎉 my husband has worked on the past 3 homes we have owned. It has paid off by his heart and hardworking and we got our money back more than what we paid for it. So it is a very good thing.... don't be sad. Tell him it is a real thing here in the USA and there is a sense of pride and satisfaction of hard work❤🎉 if you still have those videos will you still share them with us anyways on the house stuff??
The house was a good investment at the time, like money in the bank. I assume Tolya’s missionary work will be taking you places. Enjoy wherever you go. The girls are adorable and so well behaved. You should be proud. Take care sweet family.
