How interesting! I, too, had a short stint in the Nazarene church in my early 20s as I began my own faith journey away from my parents. I was visited by the pastor one day and told me I could not become a member because I was a smoker at the time. Thankfully that did not lead me away from continued seeking (and eventually found the Catholic Church). I wonder how many young people they turned away.
Just because someone was baptized at 5, does not mean that person ever became a Member of that church, a member of theFamily of God but not a church member! He knew nothing of the beliefs of the Church of the zNazarene. It was not right to mislead people this way.
Welcome home, Kevin!
I love the Journey Home - So beautiful.
God is so good! Welcome Home. ❤
@Marci Amen 🙏

I didn’t think he mislead anyone. That was his experience or rather his parents experience with the Church of the Nazarene & their pastor.
