故事發生在香港一幢舊式唐樓，新搬入的Hayden因為幫助了Damien的婆婆而與Damien邂逅，而在一個意外的吻後開始了一段糾纏不清的關係。以及Kelvin與Archie在中學失聯後再重遇的故事。
The story takes place in an old-style tenement building in Hong Kong. Hayden, a new tenant, encounters Damien after helping his grandmother, and their relationship becomes entangled after an unexpected kiss. Additionally, it tells the story of Kelvin and Archie, who reunite after losing contact in high school.

First, let me say this is a GOOD series!
Second, Kelvin’s wife is truly a piece of work! I want to call her something else but I’m working on my right speech. That said, why would you want someone who you know is gay? Then manipulate him and the situation to have a child in order to marry him. And if that wasn’t enough manipulate your family to control things to keep him and act surprised when he’s trying to follow his truth. Something about her is seriously off; narcissist, manipulative, vindictive, EVIL 😈.

Kelvin's wife is such a manipulative witch, and Kelvin is a coward too. I feel so bad for Archie. Seeing him pound on the door crying for Kelvin and begging him to choose him for once all the while Kelvin is inside in tears drinking. I understand Kelvin has a son, but I am sure something can be worked out. My heart breaks for Archie. With Damien finding the letter that also made me cry. It's not like he ever said she was a burden in his life, and for her to think that was heartbreaking too. No wonder they warned us to bring the tissues😭😭😭😭. Now the wait for the preview is going to kill me. Why not have the preview the next day and not a few days later. Ugh.

@@gabrielemuller2293 the acting has been great in this series. It's such a pity it's so short. I could feel the emotion of every scene, because the actors did their part so well. I hope that the ending is a satisfactory ending. I wouldn't be surprised if Archie decides to leave for England again, and his friends give Kelvin a big talking to, which might give him the courage to do what is right in his heart and go after Archie. Even if Archie doesn't leave I still hope his friends will grill Kelvin about his actions and that will also give him the courage to do the right thing. Damien has found his love, in Hayden, and vice verse. Now they must just sort out their lives and get together.

Dear I not want to write bec you not like but I want to share my experience. ..I am gay and now I live with my partner from seven years....I know how people treat us and blackmail us to leave each other side....we struggle. ..beating by family members ...no support from friends. ...so leave others for support.....and image hongkong where these is not allow and some selfish person for satisfy her inner needs play with you than what anyone do? All our male leads need hugs 🫂.I understand Damien …he is grieving so he locks everyone out but I hope he is able to recognize Haydens’ effort and come out of the room , so that Hayden can give him a hug.
Archie chose to swim in uncharted water by coming back to find Kevin. I understand why he had to leave when they were in high school…they were just kids so it’s normal to not know how to fight and believe in what they had. Then Kevin needs to make a choice and stand by it, so that Archie can either move on or stand by him and fight for their love. Beautiful story portrayed in a heartfelt way. Thank you Jupiter entertainment!

Kelvin is trapped for good! It'll be poetic ending if he chooses to sacrifice everything he has, his son but this doesn't happen in reality! Archie should just bandage his open wounds and leave this miserable guy for his own heart! Time doesn't heal anything magically but it does fade the pain or makes it tolerable. Hope to see more sweet moments between Damien and Hayden though! Overall a good episode! 👍🏽
Oh no, poor guys. My heart aches for all of them. It's hard to see Damien so broken but I think after reading grandma's letter he'll be able to see how much Hayden cares about him and he'll understand that even through he lost his beloved person he's not alone. Hayden is such a sweet but lonely boy. I hope they let to heal each other hearts.
Saddly I don't see a way for Kelvin and Archie to have a happy ending. This diabolic witch trapped Kelvin really hard. She gave him work, home, financial stability and even if he could sacriface all that for Archie there's still a child. He won't leave his son and honestly I can't blame him. They both hurt so much. Archie still fighting his demons from the past but even after so many years he can't change anything. It's terrible that one person can destroy other people happiness just like that.
Kelvin go back to your miserable life and leave Archie alone. Damien your grandma loved you so much and i hope he lets Hayden into his life to help ease that pain.
❤Lee Sing Sum (Grandma): love her!! Everyone needs a grandma like her. So sad to see her go. Really hope to see this actress in the future. ❤Louis Lam (Hayden): beautiful scene in the beginning talking to the turtle, could absolutely feel the emotion. ❤ Jeremy Ho (Damien): everything felt so genuine, how grief isn't always polite, beautiful. ❤Chun Hin (Kelvin): so glad he was able to call out his wife for the past. He just fits this role so well. ❤ Bosco Tse(Arche): amazing job!! Had to wipe my eyes.
I am so invested in this series and characters!! The performances are lovely and so realistic, it feels like you're right there with them. Bravo!!❤

This is such a breathtaking shot 2:27 it’s just so beautiful how Hayden was missing Damien and imagining him there 🥺 and Damien had his door opened for Hayden, but then Damien made the choice to stay alone, he made the choice to not letting Hayden in, but Hayden never gave up and helped him through his messages 8:36 until he could find comfort in the words his grandma left for him 11:14 she took good care of him and she made him feel appreciated at the end, because she understood his art 10:55 and she was happy because of his passion and love for tattoos 10:58 😭
And this episode is really about making choices. While Hayden made the choice of not leaving Damien even when Damien treated him bad because of his pain, Hayden understood him and he was happy when he saw Damien was taking the food 7:28 Damien didn’t want to make him feel bad even when he was hurting. And Kelvin had an obstacle in his way, but he made the choice of staying and living off his wife’s money 13:57 14:34 and he told his wife that he doesn’t blame her, but then told her she hasn’t given him a choice 14:05 he did have a choice, but he has been afraid of leaving, he just accepted his situation and suppressed everything inside and now Archie, who also made the choice of leaving, now wants to stay. He could have stayed back then but he just saw his pain and ran away. It’s hard to see them struggling now, but they have brought everything that’s happening upon themselves. It’s not about finding someone to blame, it’s about making the right decision now. Yes, the child will suffer, but it’s a kid that will live in a household where there’s not love but regrets. And Kelvin and Archie clearly love each other and they want to stay together, they want to stay still in each other’s embrace.

Honestly that woman should be ashamed! What a petty and toxic character, I would like to say that not all of us are like this, unfortunately there are also the ignorant and selfish. In the end, it's a nice consolation to have a man who clearly doesn't love you and has never loved you, congratulations, be proud too! She will have a gray life with a man who clearly despises her. And in the end it will pay off, because Karma does not forgive. Congratulations, beautiful female example, as a woman I feel insulted by these characters. That can't be called a woman or even a mother because she based her whole life on a lie. She deserves to be alone and for her son to abandon her too! I'm sorry but I have no mercy for bad people and it has no justification!

She is a disgrace, she is a lowlife, she can’t be called a woman, but what I see is that Kelvin allowed himself to be caught in that whole situation. The woman is manipulative, he was scheming the whole time and both Kelvin and Archie accepted their situations and Kelvin seems like a coward. We don’t know what happened for sure, but seems like he slept with her and it was a situation where he was deceived. Regardless of what she did, I believe he could have tried harder. He stayed with her, he has that bar because of her, so he has lived comfortably because of her. I get it, having a kid changes everything, but he doesn’t have to stay with her as the kid is the only person that should matter to him. Archie also regrets not staying, he just left as it was painful whatever happened and that woman hurt and bullied him in high school. They will end up together and it would be the best if she dies and the kid can live with two people that would give him all the love he needs, they will nurture him. I hope she dies, seriously, it will help the whole storyline.

In his selfish and childish attitude in wanting at all costs, a man has ruined four lives: that of Kelvin, of Archie, of his son, who will have to grow up in a dysfunctional family and sooner or later will realize as he grows up that things are not going as planned. right way and obviously ruined her life too, because she will never be loved by that man, instead of finding someone who really makes her feel good. that's why I don't understand her, evidently she has a capricious and immature personality, or maybe she's just stupid and mean.

I'm glad Archie stood up for himself. But to see him cry at the front door was very sad.
Grandma is/was a sweet woman. I really think she was trying to "play match maker" earlier with Hayden and Damien. She saw her grandson looking at Hayden over dinner and began asking all the right questions for Damien to hear.
Reading the letter Grandma left and seeing Damien cry hurt too. I hope that asking Hayden to write it for her was also another way for her to play "match maker".

Esta serie trata tantos temas y lo hace de una manera excepcional. Me pareció fantástica la escena donde muestra a Hayden extrañando a Damien, y todo los gestos que tuvo para con él - la comida, las notas, el espacio que le dio en estos días mientras Damien procesa la partida de su abuela.
La historia de Archie y Kelvin me frustra y me duele, qué difícil es tomar decisiones cuando hay personas como la esposa de Kelvin que ha hecho TODO pero TODO mal. En lo personal, detesto a quienes usan a sus hijos, cualquiera sea la situación. Ni que hablar cdo le echan en cara a alguien si lo han ayudado con dinero. Ese chantaje emocional de la esposa de Kelvin es terrible. No le importa nada, no le importa que su matrimonio no funcione, no le importa fingir una vida de familia que no existe, no le importa a futuro su hijo... sólo piensa en mantener lo arrebatado. Lo siento más que nada por Archie.

Ok maybe unpopular opinion here.....but Kelvin choosing his son is what most parents who are worth their weight in gold and (are actually blessed to be a parent) would and should do. Do I like the way he chose to choose?? NO but it makes for a great movie. But what this makes you think about is that this is a painfully reality for some! There are still parts of this world that people HAVE to choose, responsibility over love. Everyone should have the right to have both. NOT STRUGGLE but CHOICES to have BOTH. This is a riveting BL story, there have been plenty this year but far and few between that have captured my attention and leave me wanting more.
In my opinion this woman was manipulating everything from the start she knew her husband was gay but she wanted him for herself so she used the son to hold the father this is a crime against the father and son in this case he should they leave and try to have the son, i'm always for the kids to stay with the mothers, but in this case the father was never angry only the mother came straight out of hell
@@gabrielemuller2293 in a perfect world that would be ideal but certain parts of Eastern Asia and very much China have backward views about the LGBTQ community and their respective rights. So a gay man would not have the same privilege as a straight man when it came to raising his child. That’s what I was referring to. There are advances being made but it took the US over 30 plus years to get shit right with the LGBTQ community and I fear that it may take Asia longer, but let’s hope not.

What? You literally raped a man and then call him selfish!?!! What in the world of crazy is this? Poor Archie!
As always, a great episode, we have so many emotions in just 19mn, I really hope for a happy ending, but once again I have my tissues ready just in case. Cant wait o whole week!🤯

😮I really didn't think Kelvin's wife could sink any lower but after watching this episode, she most certainly has to the very depths of hell! Her selfish, manipulative, controlling behaviour back in the past & still in the now is absolutely appalling! She even had the nerve to call Kelvin selfish!
This was definitely a tear jerker of an episode!😭 My heart broke for all four characters. For Damien losing his beloved grandma & for Hayden as Damien wanted to be on his own so he kept pushing Hayden away but even though it hurt him, he still supported Damien but from a distance & then poor Kelvin & Archie but especially Archie!💔😭
As the viewer you could not just see but actually feel the rawness of the pain & hurt, the rollercoaster of emotions so kudos to the actors because they really played their parts exceptionally well. Can't wait for next week's episode😊

if Kelvin stays due to Marcus because he can't hurt his son that badly she has won again..doesn't matter how bad he freezes her out or treats her lower than garbage she still gets to remain his wife and that's what really counts to her that once again she has pulled the rug out from Archie and Kelvin's feet and made it impossible for them to be together once again because she knew just what way to make him submit to her by using their innocent child as her weapon of choice..

I think Archie should forget his past, leave Kelvin once and for all. Kelvin is just a weak weak weak man, he's not better than that awful nasty woman he had son with. Thank you for this series. I'm in love with it: its atmosphere, its settings, the plain rhythms of the two stories❤❤
So Kelvin's wife raped him when he was drunk (rape is sex without consent, and since Kelvin called out Archie's name and not hers...enough said) in order to get pregnant to force him to marry her and is now once again using their son to force him to stay with her even though it makes him miserable because she thinks she owns him and that he owes her? On top of that trying to gaslight him and using emotional blackmail 'if you don't think of our son, think of me...If you don't think of me, think of our son.' The fact he can know she is capable of trapping him with a kid but still doesn't realise who started everything that caused Archie to leave in the first place is either because he's incredibly naive or he *chooses* not to see it because it means he married the woman who so badly hurt the person he actually loves.
Did he even get a DNA test to make sure the son is his and that she wasn't already pregnant and then slept with him to make him think it was his so he'd have to marry her? Because I can easily believe she'd do something like that since she's such a psycho and can justify pretty much anything with a smile on her face to get what she wants, which is someone who had not now or ever liked her, let alone loved her.
Also if Kelvin does stay, does she really think it wont be damaging to the son to have his father be more or less permanently miserable or does she think her kid is that oblivious? 'Staying together for the sake of the child even though they hate each other' is a terrible decision all round as the kid will sense the constant tension which will mess with his mental health, and if he loves his dad and then finds out not only how he was conceived but that his mother used him to force his dad to stay and give up someone he genuinely loved...if it was me I would hate myself even though it wasn't my fault but my mothers decision and I would never forgive her for tainting my relationship with my dad like that. Honestly would be enough to make me go no contact with her permanently. At the same time though, I'd be very worried about the possibility of her getting full custody because she's the type to warp her son against his dad and make him just as psychotic and twisted as she is.
I hope Damien lets Hayden in to help him cope, because he's shown that he will be there for him in whatever capacity that Damien will let him in a beautiful and supportive way.
Thank you for mentioning sex without consent (girl on guy) cuz it happens but guys don't report it because of the shame - and that's exactly what she did to trap him and guilt him into marriage.
@@deniserankin3140 Rape is rarely reported by women because they're either blamed, shamed or not believed, so I can't imagine what pressure/shame a guy would feel.
Same goes with domestic abuse; it's so widely believed that men can't be victims of domestic abuse because they should be able to overpower any woman so they must want it to happen, and that is such a damaging mindset that works in favour of the abuser.
It also doesn't take into account that not all domestic abuse is purely physical, and women are just as (if not more so being as we can't always be as physically imposing as men) capable of psychological and emotional abuse which is just as damaging.
No-one should be shamed for being the victim of SA or violence/abuse, no matter their gender and if you disagree then all you're doing is siding with the abuser.
I think it is easy for Kelvin to leave his wife and son. His wife's parents are wealthy, so can take care of the kid. The wife is such a horrible person.

sabe, eu fico realmente com o coração na mão vendo o que tomou damien após perder sua vovó. damien deixar de sair e escolher ficar totalmente recluso (até mesmo de hayden) foi algo que nunca cojitaria juntamente dele ter ficado um bom tempo sem mexer em seus materiais de arte (algo que o mesmo ama tanto) por simplesmente não saber como reagir.
eu realmente aprecio que mesmo com adversidades, hayden em nenhum momento abriu mão de damien e com pequenas coisas aos poucos está fazendo o mesmo a se sentir melhor!!

Archie needs to walk away from that situation. Gay men who marry women & have children are never going to be free to have the kind of relationship that is needed. Even here, Kelvin can't show Archie he would walk away from his wife. Archie... turn around. Don't keep going in this. I hate stating this, because I love the underdog in love stories, but this situation is toxic.
So i can piece together what’s going on….but I feel like i missed an episode or something. or was the whole ‘using their son as a trap’ thing just in this episode.
What should I do? I can't wait for next episode...... I swear that series is my fav....I don't know flim...but color,story line....etc is my favorite....

This series is really great!
I no longer find it brilliant because it drifts towards the "deja vu", where homosexual relationships can only be experienced in suffering. This kind of series can be found everywhere and especially in mainland China.
Fortunately, the cinematography and the acting of the actors is perfect. But that's not all.

[About the cheating thing:
(Honestly, I didn't felt sorry for her in the last episode fater we learned that she did all that shit, and with this one, that make me hate her even more. I deleted a part of my comment in the last episode because I didn't want to hurt people or so, but I think Kelvin cheating the other night with Archie, is not too bad. I agree that cheating is not good and all, but here, knowing their back story, I can't feel sorry for her, I get his side of the story. She's so manipulative and all, wow.)]
That ending was so sad. The fact they had to separate because of people, be apart for all this time, having regrets, it's sad.
I enjoy a lot they series, and it is very real. I hope we get a good ending, not because it is beautiful, but because many of us has enough that our feelings and sexual orientation are always matter of suffering: either impossible or wrong…but I admire the series

I will never understand women, like Kelvins wife. What does she gain from trapping him in a loveless marriage? He will only ever resent her and hate her, even if he chooses to stay because of their son. And she might succeed in breaking him and Archie up - but the man works in a bar! He will take any chance, he gets, to cheat - and never ever touch her again. Not even give her as much, as a kind word!

Why am I not surprised? Kelvin can change who he is but cannot change what he is, only another man can satisfy his physical and emotional needs. The woman, his wife, thinks she has won with the marriage and the child. No matter how many years they are together she will never have the close and loving intimate relationship she truly wants with her husband. Kelvin will come to resent her, dislike her, blame her for his unhappy life. Whatever feelings she had for Kelvin will slowly disappear no matter how hard she struggles to hold onto them. Kelvin will find another man or other men to satisfy his physical and emotional needs. What seems obvious but bears repeating, a man can change who he is but cannot change what he is, it is never good to deny one's true self.

I'm so sad that Damien's grandma died, but he was lucky he had Hayden that supported him thru it all. But as for Kelvin, she trapped him good. He accepted his gilded cage now he wants to blame her when he never REALLY fought for his true love and been living in this loveless marriage because of trappings both financial and societal. However, she's NOT blameless taking advantage of a drunk ,distraught and heartbroken man ,getting pregnant and trapping him with a child KNOWING all too well he had ZERO interest and didn't love you like AT ALL ! then you get what you get..Just sad an innocent child is involved. She's NOT a good person hope she's a better mom at least 😒😡😞 smh..as for Archie he needed a backbone then and now. Kelvin seemed strong, but he became weak. I confess I haven't seen previous episodes, so this scene is all I am responding to (out of context). I'm guessing his wife at some point tricked him into getting her pregnant? Probably when he was drunk or something? He's all entwined with her because of the child and her parents. He'd have to be brave and see the relationship with his nuclear family differently to make a break and have what he wants. That is a very clever woman, but will it all backfire on her later? I wish just once, when a woman slaps a man, he would slap her back and send her reeling. THAT is a double standard and anti-feminist, not to mention criminal assault. Nicely acted.

This series is so emotionally driven - I love it - it feels so visceral - and there is an endearing quality to all characters with the exception of Kelvin's wife (so far). The music at the end of this episode was lovely as well xoxo
