Imagine you were in a car on that corner they'd probably have driven into you. Fully agree with everything you said. I'm actually pretty reluctant to ride on this type of road anymore unless it's absolutely necessary because of this issue. When I was younger I thought it was a buzz, now I'm a bit older I just think nah not worth it. 🙂👍
Absolutely right! The speed limit is not a target. You've got to use some common sense, especially on country lanes, unfortunately it seems to be something people lack. It doesn't help that cars have become much larger, and the roads are the same size. Also people have become full of their own self importance, bullying slower and smaller vehicles in the process.
