Yea this is one seriously artsy and sophisticated album. After downloading to my phone I've been listening to it a few times a week over the summer. At first it sounded like a bunch of random craziness and technical wankering, but after a while it started to make coherent sense, and wow, bloody amazing. Every aspect of this is off the charts in terms of complexity and innovation, and the musicianship is superhuman. Also love the violin throughout. I so hope you guys continue, though I must say that this is probably ahead of its time and way over the heads of most prog metal fans, who may not have the patience to take the time to fully appreciate your absurd writing/playing talents. Brilliant!

Took a while but the songs eventually made complete sense and got "into my soul" and I'm blown away by the sophistication of this epic masterpiece. Easily one of my fav albums of all time, and that's saying a lot because I'm one to seek out the most proggy and innovative stuff I can find and spend lots of time trying to make sense of it. Fucking amazing, hilarious that my first introduction to seriously heavy music was with Shadow Of Intent and their halo albums, then I find another absolutely killer band through a comment on a morrowind retrospective! Absolutely wild, love the work and the obvious love of the inspirational material, keep killing it, earned a follower. Plus, I'm a composer myself so I'm gonna have a fun time chewing through this in detail over time...
The only bad thing about this album is that it's too short, other than that it's an amazing jump forward from Taether and Laniakea, seriously hope people dont sleep on this release
I thought it was going to be alot longer too..we got a good amount of the tracks..more than half the album really, leading up to the release..hearing it all sequentially is key though.
