this is criminally underrated music
The entire album CITADEL is a majestic work of art..and these two songs Blackholes and Contortions are the prodigal holy grails in the entire album...
I prefer painters of the tempest, but its close. real close
@@Rassalcon I find Devour Me Colossus more cohesive. They got a bit ambitious with Triptych Lux. I mean, I love almost every second of Triptych Lux, but the pieces aren't put together in a natural way for me.
That said, Painters I and Painters III > Devour II for me.

Ive listened all their songs now many many times and i want to declare this my favorite. But dont get me wrong they dont miss with any of their songs. All are way too good!

Everything is good except the cliche lyrics
Honestly, I have no idea how in the hell you think these lyrics are cliche. Xenoyr's lyrics are always creative, cryptic, and nothing like most other metal bands I listen to and I listen to a lot.

@@fawnrot ????? dafuq? One of the reasons I listen to metal is the liyricall base of them and then the musical aesthetic perspective of it, and Ne Obliviscaris has both in a splendid way.
