And it looks like youve spent a fortune on it, fair play!! I just lacked the quickshift n big bore but pretty much same spec, vforce and pipercross filter, stage 1 on barrell but i didnt have a rave just had the blanking plate wedged open, full throttle to get away even on a commute but once its going its bloody going, man i miss my RS :( got a killer bandit now though, just working on carbs now.

You need to feel that bite more, mine used to fly off the lights, but i rid it daily n just got used to that feeling of the front JUST wanting to lift but not make it, its all about your left hand. And not missing second,lol. Good vids mate enjoyed watching them.
How long the wide band lambda works? Don't get too much oil and brake?
That premix ratio is crazy, my trials bike runs 80:1 :O
Glynn - Moto That seems way too high. From factory, my RS50 automatically mixes at 33:1 with the oil injection

Hey dude! Im planning on buying a lectron for my Rs too, but i dont know which lectron it is, as they do not sell them for aprilias. What lectron do you have or are they all the same, but only the size being different? Thanks!
yeah, they're the same its just the outlet diameter that changes, I'd recommend a 34mm for a 125cc and maybe a 36mm for a 140cc.. 38mm is abit too big

Awesome mod list! Did you get it dyno'ed with this setup? Would you run it with a stock oil pump instead of a premix?
Yes it ran 36.22 wheel hp on dyno with this set up. and no i wouldn't the port bridges are super thin the oil pump wouldnt deliver enough oil. wouldnt trust it at all i like premix alot
36.22 WHP? OMG. That's like 42 HP. More powerful than Ninja 300! I would say, the dyno was too optimistic but this video kinda confirms 36 WPH.
I'm thinking of modding my RS 125 in a similar way (don't have a complete mod list yet) but my concern is reliability. After all, that's a huge power per cylinder volume which causes a lot of heat.
Manufacturer recommends piston ring replacement every 6k km and cylinder replacement every 12k km, etc. How often do you do this type of service?
+Žilvinas Deveika yeah i think my rs would be alot faster than a ninja300 it weighs alot less too.. more power and less weight .even the KTM RC390 has only 2more hp and weighs more probs be faster than that too. i will change the ring and piston during winter do it twice a year
Exactly, it's a bit mind blowing. I know that race 125 cc two strokes are crazy powerful but this is still very surprising. There are people who write off RS 125 with their retarded comments. Not that i care but that would be a real slap in their face.
Do you replace the piston and the rings because it gets worn and you lose power or as a precaution? How long does one last you distance wise?
Do you have a CDI rev limiter? If so, at what RPM?
Žilvinas Deveika my speedo doesnt track milage so its hard for me to say what sort of milage, i check compression often so if it takes a sudden loss then ill change and i do it for precaution. In the past i've had a few piston ring peg failures which just happen randomly without warning so i think its best to change the piston often. I do have a rev limiter at 13k rpm just to stop over rev if i miss a gear, which happens sometimes with the quickshifter.
Where did you send your flywheel to get it lightened or did you buy it?

it's running a lectron carb, there's no jets you just adjust the needle height for mid throttle and open or close the powerjet to set up full throttle
What dose it pull in 1st gear 35 ? 40 ? Mph
about 38, might just be able to get 40 if i redline it

roleupppp £45 I dont currently have any flywheels atm tho.. depends on gearing to what you can get in 1st 36mph is decent for your set up

17/40?? i drive 17/39 1gear 11000U/min is 68Km/h (43mph)2 gear is 105km/h (66mph) looks like 16/40 or 15.
my bike is a 92 af1 sport pro rotax 123
but the gear ratio is the same 122/123, tire dia the same
your speedo is probably massively out. You need 15/37 ish to get 66mph in 2nd gear, unless you're rocking about 55hp which i doubt it. The speedos on the old models are awful and are never anywhere near accurate
i check it via gps! 15/37 ist short her than the 17/39!! 13/39 is max 6 gear 135-140km/h 11000-11750u/min gps 130.135km/h! 16/39 6 gear max speedmeter 185-190km/h, gps 169-173km/h@ 11250-11750. with the 17/39 6 gear max its speedmeter 205-210 km/h gps is 184-189km/h! its a 140cc italkit ported by me, 39dellorto jet is 170 full open airbox and a polini Exhaust specific made for the 154cc kit with a little optimizin her and dear. and i have also a rave system that i can self programm. (arduino with a servomotor)
check it per gps!!
and the af1 ist 128kg with gas and oil! it al littelbit ligher than de newer ones. rs 93 144kg
i dont know, but is the 122 shorter geared than the 123?? my 123 with 17-40 1 gear 65-70 @ 11300 and 2 gear 105-110@ 11300. from 0-100 there is 1 shift not 2
I got 122 rotax wit 154 polini boyesen reeds and jollymoto exhaust with dellorto 34ld with 18 40 and it does 53 at 12k 83 at 12k and 110 12k with3 first gears
So i assume 122 is shorter geared

@@SP-us4cx with stock airbox and reed vale polini say 34ld 158HD! i have modded stock reedvalvs and a Polini 154cc exhaust, back from 2000! and Polini says 162 is optimum. i drive a 164HD. rave stock.

got dyno'd at 33.55hp at the rear wheel on a super humid day with slightly less advance than im using now, hopefully around 36hp on a less humid day
