Good morning John, thank you for your interest. Yes, you can easily attach railing between these columns. See this link for our photo gallery featuring multiple examples of round columns with railing. www.superioraluminum.com/products/aluminum-columns/round-fluted-aluminum/gallery/1?page=1
The columns are designed to have an extremely tight fit once assembled. If you can get them loose, you may be able to take them apart with a rubber mallet but it is likely you will need to saw them apart. They are very unlikely to go back together if taken apart.
Hello Titus. These can be purchased in person at your local lumberyard: www.superioraluminum.com/where-to-buy/ Additionally, you can purchase them online here: buymbs.com/p-7453-superior-aluminum-wrap-around-round-fluted-column.aspx Thank you for your interest!
Hello Edin. Can you explain what you mean when you say cut them? If you are simply looking to shorten, a powered saw would be sufficient. If you are referring to taking them apart, there unfortunately isn't really a method that will leave the column still usable. Your best bet is to cut the column down with a saw to tear it off a porch or other area.
Can you attach guard rails to run between these?
