Whenever I have trouble singing something I look up their interview to see if there's even a semblance of their natural voice in mine and I find a lot of typical rock singers actually have lower voices, that'd explain with how they can take the bassy sound so high. I thought he was a tenor for sure but here he is speaking G2s with ease so maybe not. Also apparently Dexter doesn't smoke so its not that (he did though in highschool)
