I apologize that this video is not a PC build video of it all, but I wanted to share my weird experience with what i THOUGHT was a bad motherboard! Hope you enjoy the video.
I am doing minor overclocking, nothing major due to not using liquid cooler.
Things i wish i would have done IF i wanted to spend more: buy a Z390 instead of Z370, done liquid cooling instead of air, use an M.2 SSD instead of SATA SSD, buy an even better graphics card. I mean hell, if money wasn't an issue why wouldn't i have just bought the AMD Threadripper and most expensive case i could find!! The list could go on and on, and at some point you have to draw the line.
But for what I spent and have... I am very HAPPY!

Did you have to update the bios yourself or was it shipped with the newest update? Im asking because i have a msi z370 a pro and i got it just before the end of November and i have an i5 9600k as well and i dont wanna have to buy a new chip that will work for an update.
Quantum Blue I updated it, just check I bet you can probably update it too

Quantum Blue yeah I used the flash option in the bios and had the new version on a usb stick

No it only needed a bios update
How did you get a 9th gen processor to work an 8th gen motherboard?
edward enyart The Z370 is compatible with the newest BIOS update. I think a lot of Z370 manufacturers are supporting the 9th gen, but I'd check with whatever brand. Gigabyte had several models that they updated the BIOS on to support 9th gen

Dude u need a 9th gen motherboard or flash run ur motherboard if it's not a 9th gen...
