- Not long after he infamously offered a 1958 Chevorlet Chevette as a Mystery 7 bonus on the syndicated $100,000 Pyramid, Dick Clark offered a 1968 automobile as a Mystery 7 bonus on the CBS Daytime $25,000 Pyramid. What makes it even funnier was the fact that he had gotten the model year right a few shows before while mentioning that the staff said he'd screw it up again!
Nothing like a hilarious blooper from the "Bloopers" man himself

1:23 *BUZZER* 😂
Oh yes, so funny the way the production crew trolled Dick Clark with that buzzer!
EERRRR wrong answer Dick 😂😂😂
@@brycelandon6387 he's not the only one. Game show crews seemed to love messing with the hosts way back when.

Hey, at least Dick didn’t give out an Illegal Clue!😅😅
Gotta Love Mr. Clark, he knows he to make a blooper into a REAL Fun one
Today's Bloopers can't hold a candle to the old days
God Bless You Mr. Clark, R.I.P. World's Oldest Teenager, I still can't believe that you're not here with us, Television, Radio, American Music Awards and New Year's Eve is not the same without your presence
Except for what he said afterwards I almost thought the card said 1968 and someone played a joke on him.
I think he couldn’t wait for 1988.
Imagine how things could have gone in 1989.
Good ones guys
Not to mention ring in that year on his Rocking Eve show.
Really funny blooper. thanks for posting it. Made me laugh.
1968 WAS a good year for cars, but so was 1958. I'd be happy with a 1958 Chevy. Unfortunately, the Chevette wasn't introduced until the 1976 model year, so a 1958 Chevette is impossible.
From the 1958 Chevette to the 1968 automobile, he had dyslexia.
*dyscalcula
You hear a lady with a emphatic YES! when he transposed the year. Like the Lady won the lottery or something. Lol! They should of used the coo coo instead of the buzzer. It would of been a lot funnier!
I think it was the woman behind the pyramid.
Dick Clark could do no wrong in my mind
1968 was a great yr but 1986 was better the yr I was born
Could've awarded a restored 1968 Chevelle (Or Nova) if they wanted to TBH🤔
Plot twist: It was the cards' problem
@1:21, any Oldsmobile stories about the 1968 Chevy Chevette, Dick?
It would have been interesting if he had done it again in 1987. It would have a doozy if he did it yet again in 1989.
THAT'S TWICE!!!!!
He actually did the 1958 one first
1968??? Was he stuck in that year???

Maybe he had dyscalculia?
Old car humor?
