    You forgot to move the spacer that goes under the ssd and the screw goes through. Hopefully it being loose in there doesn't fry your ps5.

      @martinejrgensenrasmussen841 Idk, but it's been known to make sure you get an ssd with a heatsink. If you were to go against those words, I'm 99% sure you will have complications
      My general idea is that a heatsink diverts heat, so if you get one without it, you'll overheat your console

      @@rajgus7638 coming from a pc builder heat sinks on a m.2 does help with heat dissipation which helps keeps its integrity longer and can help keep downloading and uploading speed consistency. but honestly some people don’t see the difference. It just depends on how much you play really. Do I recommend sure it helps in the long run is ultimately necessary well that varies

    The tiny screw to get on my ssd is stripped and won’t come out. I ordered a replacement set of screw and spacer. My question is, am I able to just install my ssd w the new screw/spacer in the 80 slot, and just leave the current stuck stripped screw in the 110 slot? Will it function just the same? Lmk if anyone knows!

    • @konstantinivanov1986
      @konstantinivanov1986 Год назад

      Shouldn't be a problem. It is just an anchor point it doesn't affect anything. You have to make sure the new screw comes with spacer that goes under the card in the screw hole. That keeps it level
