That’s why you never cranked the dollies all way to the ground If the trail is too high back the truck up a few inches off to the side put the pin on the fifth wheel. Let the air out of the tractor first back up put the pin on the fifth wheel and air back up. It will lift the trailer up so you can crank , the dolly up then drop the airbags and then pull back out
Always love John never misses an episode just like running otr, have seen John haul yoghurt flavours from plymeth Indiana to twin falls idaho and yoghurt from chombani twin falls mostly to texas.@@tammayragan1959
Turlock!! haha no way.. that’s my town. 😂 watching you commenting on California drivers, at least you get to leave. Some of us have to deal with them every single day. 😂 and I’m not even a semi truck driver. I don’t think I have the patience. Be safe out there. 🤙🏻
lol they be driving crazy sorry that you have to deal with them on the daily and yes trucking sometimes takes a lot of patience that’s for sure especially thru major cities.
Running OTR you need to keep your wiper spray working so we your customers can see out the window as you drive down the highway. We want to see more driving down the highway and the landscape. We see to much of the loading, parking, tandums, paperwork, walking, showers, eating. More of the beautiful countryside please
@@RunningOTR I have not been to the in and out here yet but I am about 2 miles south of there yes I kind of know where you were going when you were in Turlock I was raised there
Great job checking all your breaks and not assuming they are good because they are new .yes, California traffic sucks .safe travels driver's ✌️ 🇺🇸 o yeah, some veteran driver advice get out of California 👍
Hey Grizzly 👋 yeah it’s always good to check the brakes you just never know it was a 40 mile descend into Sacramento everything got really hot transmission engine mostly brakes didn’t I never hold them. California everything sucks from traffic to drivers to no places to park etc. I appreciate you watching and the support as always and thanks for the advice I sure love to get out of there ASAP 😀 have a great weekend ✌️
@@StandFast1611 it took a while for me I was home sick missing my wife and kids often feeling sad lonely gone but after a while it’s normal and if you have a good supporting wife like I do the time and this becomes much easier. Good luck man 🙏
@RunningOTR That's what's going to suck the most, especially being new. Honestly, I don't think it's the pay that makes new drivers quit, I think reality sets in and they realize home will be every 2 weeks +. No one hires local so you pretty much have to do otr. Oh well! Thanks for the input! Drive safe
@@StandFast1611 yeah I mean depending where you from there is some local options but not many for me in Florida and they don’t pay much unless I do fuel hazmat hauling which I’ll probably end up doing one day I don’t plan on doing OTR for while but you never know. Home time sucks especially if you’re lease like me you always have to run it hard because each day you’re off you’re going down in revenue and you maybe become negative since the truck payment is always do weekly.
Yeah I agree with you 💯 nothing good about California honestly too many crazy drivers never ending traffic and no where to park a truck one near major cities there is truck stops which are full 24/7. Ah okay yeah California does a lot of produce and we have some ice cream and fed ex loads around there also.
Arnas you should really shut of the engine while fueling than again diesel is less flammable anyway it's not like your gonna get sparked lol you can do what u want im not telling you otherwise I love chobani too
Thanks I was just filling up the reefer so no need to shut it off. If I fuel truck it’s always off when fueling since it’s not allowed to be idling and it’s a hazard. Chobani yogurt is the best the drinkable ones are my favorite!
Explain to us why you have another driver sitting in your cab? Is he training? For how long? Show us and talk to us more instead of talking about eating salads and tomatoes, please.
It's been a while since I've been OTR but why is it legal for a random person at a pick up location to demand to have your driver license. That's completely against your 4th amendment. I wouldn't have given. Who are they to even ask??
Ey! You came to my town! What a drive man. Good stuff.

Ah okay got you I appreciate the tip next time I’ll give that a go instead of braking my body trying to crank down 43,000 pounds 🍻
How did you like the fuel prices and horrible valley drivers in my town? It's an experience for sure. Good video man.
They both sucked 😂 but I appreciate it!
Yeah Jbg travels hauled yogurt before anyway welcome to Running OTR channel everyone and let's enjoy ride
Yes I watch JBGTRAVELS also and this was in Twin Falls Idaho not Idaho Falls! Soon as I saw him turn into Chobani I knew John had delivered there!

Thanks 🙏 Lance
Another Great Video my friend! God bless you guys
Hey I appreciate you 🙏
I think the purpose of those lights is to make gaps from the cars getting on the freeway
Yeah I know it’s to improve the flow of traffic by not sending everyone at once to slow the flow of traffic down.
