I EXCELLENT REVIEW. SO HELPFUL. Real details --- not bullshit graphics and loud music. Thank you. 'm planning to do my first international 787 Polaris Business soon. Question to anyone: Are they all that rattle and squeaky level?
Thank you so much for the comment. A lot of them are, when you go to book definitely email me and I’ll hopefully get you a lower than published rate as well.
Nice take off video from the isle and not window. From what u have shared good to average flight and food. Kinda dissapointing that the flight attendant just dropped your meal and took off. Did not say :Enjoy your meal would have been nice, Just seemed to be rushed and I know they are but it takes 2 seconds to say that. Anyway thanks for sharing.
Yup - that pretty much sums it up. I’m here if you want to book discounted business class air - gari.senderoff@cruiseplanners.com
Good video, but after seeing United Polaris, which I thought was supposed to be really nice, I will choose American Airlines business class. I used to fly United years ago but I see it has gone downhill.
Thanks for the compliments. I think it all depends on what best bulk rates I can get you. Email me at gari.senderoff@cruiseplanners.com and I’m happy to help you get a lower-than-published fare.
Odd seats are best as they are closer to the window l. Rows 1 and 9 also have larger footwells. Só first choices should be 1 and 9. Did they offer pajamas?
We tried getting PJs and they said it has to be requested at least 12 hours ahead of time.
@@DrGariS okay so how do you request this stuff? I'm flying to Singapore 16 hours I want the pajamas and the mattress pad. What is this in and out with a secret menu? It's kind of stupid. Everybody should get it in business class.
@@Ben-eh1qt I agree - everyone should get it or they should just have a few for people who request it. I just need to send them a request through my agent tool as long as I booked you.
yay!! im in row nine!
email me at gari.senderoff@cruiseplanners.com so I can assist on your next adventure and save on international business class air AND expeditions/cruises
I understand there are bigger issues in the world but everything is relative… Was the staff aware of your concerns - filthy seat, crumbs and dirty pillow shams? Was compensation offered for your trouble? Overall, you seemed to enjoy the aircraft/flight… As a viewer of your post, I don’t know that I’d be able to say the same. A dirty seat is absolutely the wrong direction to start any flight, much less a long-distance flight. And the Polaris cabin seemed quite average, perhaps even dated for being a new plane… In coach/economy, sure, nice. But at a higher price-point I expect more… Am I too demanding? 🤷🏻♂️
Absolutely bigger issues in this world and I’m grateful to fly in a lay flat. Yes, staff was aware and they were a lovely crew. They actually did offer 7500 miles or a $150 voucher. I explained I wasn’t complaining AT ALL, just making them aware. The staff was wonderful. When I arrived LAX they also lost my luggage (they still hasn’t gotten it to me). The pillows were taken as they were dirty and they never addressed that part. The port was vinegary (2 bottles were open). It was still an enjoyable flight overall but definitely a lot of bumps. It was not the crew’s fault
@@DrGariS Oh good, they offered compensation! That shows they identified there was an issue and apologized for the oversight. Luggage - disappointing as well. I hope it’s back in your hands in quick time! Thanks for all your video postings, they are enjoyed!
@@dewittbeaucater yes! I was very happy to get my luggage in 38 hours but they sent me the wrong bag. All else was ok but I’m very fortunate to fly the way I fly!
@@DrGariS 👍🏼
Why are Americans obsessed with compensation. I don’t want money back. I want a good experience. Food looked ordinary, no tablecloths….
So the aisle privacy doors always have to be open all the time? You can’t really close it off??
Not sure if I wanted that if I wanna experience flying business once in my life.
What doors? I’m flying on it again on Thursday. I may do a better and longer video. There are no privacy doors. Why would you only do this once in your life? I do get lower than published rates on international lay flats! If you’re only going to do it once, I’m not sure I would do it on UA but it’s certainly not “awful” and beats economy!
@@DrGariS sorry. doors I meant that sliding door to your seat that blocks off your cubicle spot so no one can see you through the aisle.
@@series25a I know. Only VERY few airlines have that. United Polaris doesn’t
No table cloth. Food on a tray?
I know, right!
6:12 why is there so much squeaking going on?
Those are just typical airplane sounds. Thanks
United catering has a low standard
I can understand that but the dirty seat, pillows and everything else was beyond low standard.
