Good fun...Pismo can be the greatest place in the world or sometimes not. I have never seen it the same way twice. More central coast road/camping/hiking trips please - probably what we miss most about our short time living in CA!

Just a small correction: Its Oceano Dunes. It's a town next to Pismo. You enter the beach in Pismo, but go 2 miles down the beach where the dunes are, you're in Oceano. Cool video and glad you enjoyed the area!

So how do you beach camp? Do you need to make a reservation?
Okay there's a lot of confusing about this are you talking about the oceana dunes camping in the sand cuz that's not sand and as far as I know on the actual Beach it's only days where exactly is this location at inside oceana Beach

It costs 10.00 a night with a 7.99 fee. I booked 4 nights and came out to a little over 58.00.

Yo I been there before a very long time ago . Can we go with our trucks to the right once you enter just to park and chill for the day . Rather then taken left to the camp places

As long as you reserve and obtain a permit you should be fine. We did see some people going in motorcycles and setting up their tents. Thank you for watching
