The Great Aussie Lap - Episode 30 - The Journey Home - Part 1

Hi and Welcome to Episode 30 - Part 1 of the "Great Aussie Lap"
In this episode, we start our journey home.
Unfortunately, due to time restraints, we can't complete the full lap of Australia.
Hence, I suppose we should call this road trip,
"The Great Aussie Lap divided by 2"
We begin our journey at the breath-taking location, Lake Argyle.
It is so beautiful.
We then head east thru the Northern Territory and enjoy a stop-over at the famous "Daly Waters Hotel". What an amazing place. One for the tick list.
We continue down to the famous "Three Ways Roadhouse", before turning off towards Queensland.
What an educational a stop-over at Winton, Central Queensland. This is the home of where Dinosaurs once roamed Australia, all those many millions of years ago.
We visit the "Age of the Dinosaurs" complex, that was built after the 1st dinosaur bone was discovered in the Winton area, back in 1999.
We enjoy a fascinating day tour where we discover many interesting facts about Australian Dinosaurs.

I think it's far better to go back to plan another trip than rush around a Lap. We did 17 mths on the road and had time back at home and now back out there to take our time doing the NT. 3 States in our !7 mths and still didn't see anywhere near all of each State, safe travels back to home.

Yes it certainly is a big country and there is so much to see.
Yes a divide and conquer approach is possibly the way to see all of Australia.
After a number of months on the road, you can become all tourist out. I’m thinking that 6 month stints in each state then a refresh is possibly the way to go.
