Very interesting demonstration, I also thought Progress is strong but had no clue about how OP Equality is for infinite heatstamps. I'll go to test it out, thanks a lot for the great gameplay!

definitely agree with your take on progress. so many people will go on and on about how terribly balanced it is, but it seems pretty strong to me if you keep heatstamps up!

Yep, progress with equality is very OP. Equality's cornerstone ability takes care of all your heatstamps issues as seen here (as well as Goods shortage which shouldn't be overseen as you can keep your industrial districts on prefabs production the entire game). Then, progress takes care of all your workforce issues (which becomes the next major bottleneck in all builds, especially in adaptation). Finally reasoning vs tradition is kinda whatever. Tradition has better laws and buildings but reasoning has better cornerstone and also gives you access to Technocrats (compared to Legionnaires), who are much better as they boost your tech. It's the perfect combo.
Adaptation is perhaps more noob-friendly as it is easier to execute in every map and you don't have to worry about squalor, but it is a much slower build. In my early tests I was reloading the same map seed and replaying it with adaptation build variations, but my economy growth could never catch up to the build seen in my video.

This was a really fun and great video!! I do wonder if you could maybe could record a playthrough with all the opposite conerstones (adaptation, merit, and tradition) just to see how it plays differently? Honestly I think this system is an amazing upgrade from Frostpunk 1s law system and I can't wait to see how it gets used in future DLC or updates, mainly because I think that there could be a better amount of 'radical' laws/ buildings.

Thanks a lot mate for the kind comment! Yeah, I also like the new system a lot and looking forward to see how they are going to expand on it with future dlcs. I'll try to upload gameplay with adaptation (and opposite cornerstones). I think I may have something recorded from my early testing on the Horizon map where I was testing both builds, so I will check what I can find.

Technically you can delay picking up the ulti ability after unlocking it in order to grab some extra research of the opposite faction. Now, how good or efficient is that highly depends.
