I'd say both base coats are really good, they both would serve their purpose depending on your preference for your projects
I always enjoy the tutorials tho✨
Indeed, I mean there might be other better basecoat out there to complement the output but hey, if these easily available basecoats are good enough then why not
@@HyperWeaponHobby but wait, so if the silver/chrome are gonna serve as the base coat, then there's no need to slap actual primer onto it?
Yes and no. If I were painting a large object like a bicycle or a motorcycle. I will definitely use a primer prior to the silver/ chrome and candytone. However, if I where to paint a small object, I will definitely apply the sliver/ chrome directly without a primer to avoid the build-up of accumulated paint. Bosny paint concentration is too thick for small objects.
I'm still trying to learn how to not overcoat and use the perfect distance, it's always inconsistent tbh, and I'm not talking about models, but cosplay lmao
I'm getting the hang of it!
I really should invest in a good respirator mask though
Well, Bosny is really an industrial paint, from the concentration of its paint to the design of its nozzle. If you can just decant these paint and use them on airbrush then result in even better output even for cosplay props. Of course, an airbrush is an investment too and that is right, invest first in a good respirator as your health takes priority than your project when you use spray paints
Do I still need to top coat after doing this? And if so what top coat is better the glossy or the matte?
You dont have to topcoat after this as the texture of the candytone is prevalent as your final coating but if you really have to topcoat then use gloss, at least the shine and smoothness will supplement the candytone effect rather than make it dull with a flat topcoat.
Sana may tutorial rin for metallic finish sir!
Bosny metallic paint tutorial, coming right up. Wait for it for my next tutorial
Will wait!
Boss ano po kyang klaseng bosny paint for sazabi ? Honda red po or ung mettalic red ?
It depends sa preferencre, i mean both would look good for sazabi but for me I would choose the Honda Red
Hello!!
Do you still recommend top coating this? If so what top coat would you recommend. TIA Idol
You can only use gloss topcoat bosny for this. It will make it super shiny but the grainy metallic effect will still be there as per my video on topcoating metallic kits
@@HyperWeaponHobby thanks idol. Looking forward to your next project. I have no airbrush and no talent in hand painting so bosny is my choice for now.
@nathanielangelojancamacam7584 well, we are on the same boat my friend 😅. I was contemolating on getting and learning airbrush but spray cans do the repainting job for me since im always kinda busy and the patience for airbrush seems not suited for me (preparation, paint mixing, cleaning etc.) I too sucked at handbrushing although i handbrushed some small details but for most of it, I spray it with spray paint. Official hobby spray cans are too expensive so bosny is the economical choice
Your tutorial is great, but I laughed because there's an extra cat in your video 😅
Thank you so much 😍🥰😘. Its rule number 2, dont spray paints on living things, specially cats that pass along in your paintinf area
May video din ako ng metallic red and blue tutorial for bosny to be published soon and tama ka, madaming glitters si metallic red.
@@HyperWeaponHobby Ahhhh salamat boss. 😁
No problem sir 😉
