I enjoyed your painting. The journal is a cute idea. Thank you for your ideas. I miss the snow. Only because it melts. My 2 brothers and 5 sisters all live in the Lakewood area. I followed your storm. We received 1.03" of rain here on Sunday. We are having a drought. We have fire watches etc. Snow starts here in the middle of December. Take care. Have a wonderful fall.😊
Hi JoAnne! Well, as you know, we are no strangers to drought here! Yesterday with the sun there was so much melting that our walk was full of forging mini rivers created by rapidly disappearing snow. Not everyone shovels their walks (which is against the law 😠👮🏻♂️), so some of the walking was slushy and unstable!! I bought Yak Trax for my boots-a huge help as we are to old to fall!👵🏻🩼!! This week will be sunny and 50s so by Wednesday everything should be a distant memory, then back to drought 😂🙌🏼 I’m happy you enjoyed this video & hope you are enjoying a peaceful fall as well. Maybe some of this storm made it your way!

I almost missed this, but so pleased I spotted my error. Really enjoyed both paintings, but most especially, I enjoyed the continuation on the woodland animal stories. Such a lovely touch to your journal. 🖌️👩🏻🎨🎨🥰

Thank you Laura! We had a very unusually heavy snow for November-more like a spring storm. Final total was 30.1”!! And today….all melting in the beautiful sunshine😎🤠

Thank you, Becky! Spoiling is in full swing; I wouldn’t have it any other way🥰 Ultramarine blue is an excellent mixer with browns for shadows. It results in a painting that has far more depth and dimension as opposed to if one had used black or gray as a shadow. By mixing your darks, you can also control the temperature of the contrast 👩🏻🎨🫶🏼
