Ummmm .. No.... Why would anyone pick up a possible hair sample (that could possibly be tested for DNA perhaps) with their bare hand????? Why????? Major faux pas. Major.
Nope, this was for microscopic analysis, which is unaffected by handling bare handed. Hair doesn't yield much DNA anyway compared to other types of samples (blood, skin, tissue etc.), so Cliff likes to focus on see what the microscopic structures of the hair show.
Try PAYING ATTENTION next time Ricky Redneck. It was addressed in the video.

We live in the Berkshire Mountains here in Western Massachusetts. My Husband and I got chased out of our camp by a very obviously pregnant female who apparently felt we were too close to her territory for her liking. We ran all the way back to our vehicle, she followed behind us walking at a brisk pace, and we're nearly positive we were being paralleled as well, but only because we heard the sounds, we didn't actually lay eyes on whatever was paralleling us out. These creatures are definitely real, and chances are good that if you're seeing one, it's because they're pissed and want you OUT of their territory. At least that's our experience. It's also a good practice to keep in mind that if you ever see one, chances are VERY high that they aren't alone and there are more in the immediate vicinity. I say this in the hopes that people with itchy trigger fingers think TWICE before harming one of these beings. Unless your life is in jeopardy, never reach for a firearm. We think that's what got the female we encountered, so upset. We were both armed....she KNEW what the guns were, as she kept looking at them.

Armed in Massachusetts you didn't have enough fire power to take down more then one....silly restrictions in that common wealth. Glad you didn't choose to prove their existence. I'm in southern Maine and they are here. No proof needed
@@ryanmrowka8970 I agree....Gun laws in MA are a JOKE, but to be honest, we moved up from the VA/NC border where there were very few restrictions and EVEN if we had our old Mac 11/9 with a 30 round Mag, or one of my Husband's high powered rifles, NEITHER of us would have ever dreamed of taking a shot at her. She WAS VERY pregnant, AND I know that where there is one, there are many in the vicinity. I wouldn't want to ever shoot one who wasn't directly threatening my life, and have to deal with her infuriated mate, and family group. I think that the people who go missing without a trace, ARE the ones who take the shot. Just my opinion. I mean think about it, what are you going to do if you shoot and kill one, and find yourself suddenly surrounded by very hurt, ANGRY, infuriated family and friends within their home group??? NOT a good position to put yourself in!
I hunt mushrooms very near where you had the encounter. I carry bear spray only. More for people than bears. Not sure if I would ever go in the woods again if I had your experience.
I’ve heard some interesting sounds in the fort rock area while archery hunting. It was a loud howl but shortly after it sounded like a pack of coyotes and wolves mixed. It lasted for about 20 minutes then silence. That was on my way into a guzzler. After day break there was absolutely no sounds whatsoever. No birds, no nothing, just an unsettling silence. About 2-3 hours into daybreak we heard a loud thud like a bolder rolled down a hill and struck a large tree. The area I was hunting was flat blm area with only 1 trail in with a 4x4 covered in buck brush. After that my buddy and I kinda looked at each other like WTF! I was hunting he just was showing me his spot. He knew the layout, so we drove to the end of the trail looking for anyone to explain what we heard. There was no one in site. I told this story to a close friend of mine and he experienced the same big blunt thud followed by silence for hours. He’s the type of person if he doesn’t experience something for himself it’s false. He had his experience at company butte. Several miles from the area I was in “as a crow fly’s” I did not go up to the area where I heard all of the noise. I was any armed with a compound bow and bear spray. That was the first few years I’ve lived in Oregon. I go out frequently to hunt mushrooms, hike, fish and camp. I did see a large creature with long grayish hair running on all 4’s in western Pennsylvania when I was 9. My mom was driving and I was in the back passenger side of the car when I saw it. I never said anything to anyone until 5-6 years ago to a coworker that also has seen something unexplainable. I grew up in the country on a cattle farm and I’ve been to the zoo. The size of this thing was like seeing a rhino! Maybe with its size and color that’s why it stuck with me. I’ll be heading to Hood next month for a week camping trip, hopefully I don’t experience any of what I have in the past. There’s definitely something out there

Great video. Love these down to earth investigations. Nothing fancy, just plain old boots on the ground work. Even if Sasquatch wasn’t found it’s still fascinating to see what other wildlife is hiding there that only appears when man has vacated the area.

36:11 bottom left. Wolf like creature. You can also see its left arm. 38:08 inside that triangular gap in the foliage to the left, theres something big hiding there going by the size of the eye. They might not actually be tree knocks, some have seen them making the sound with their mouths.
To even see Bigfoot you have to smell like the wild. This is why nobody ever gets good video because Sasquatch can smell you from over a mile away.

It would but in this case we were more interested in looking at the hairs for microscopic analysis, which would be unaffected.

Have you attempted to communicate? The folks who establish a relationship with Sasquatch families are having meaningful exchanges, most often telepathic. A good rule of thumb is no cameras/trail cams, no guns, and no flashlights.

It's hard to see something that's in and out of our reality.......the first nations people will tell you if you listen. You'll never catch a Sabe because of his magic......that's what my Elders have told me. Take it for what it's worth.....THIS IS NOT A APE !!!!

I'm from Great Britain, and I've always been interested in Big Foot
I was just wondering, as animals usually have a better sense of smell than we humans, it occurred to me that when you put up a trail camera up on a tree, your human scent will be on the camera and the straps you use to fix it to the tree. It's obvious that the Big Foot is very clever at not being seen after all it's their domain and know how to use it. But could your scent make it easier for them to avoid not just you but also the cameras you put up, your scent will be on anything you touch. I imagine you don't use aftershaves or perfumed deodorant, as again that's going to be detected by all the animals in the woods/forest. I'm asking these questions as I've never heard on any film's or documentaries that people out looking for Big Foot try to hide their scent. Love these videos.
Not to mention they might be able to see the infrared light coming out of them or hear them.

I've also rationalized that in the past, and believe that that is often the case. Smell in the wild can go a long way to those that rely on it to survive.
Have you guys ever considered that sasquatches are extra terrestrial beings, and they shapeshift? That's why you can't find them. As crazy as it sounds, it's most likely true. From what I understand, they are mining minerals. I wonder what minerals are in the area?

It takes some patience to find the same area every time the camera pans but you can definitely track movement, especially if you upscale the vid, slow it down and zoom in.
Only thing I'd say is that the guy in green (Cliff) is absent while they are talking about this, so it could just be him looking around up there.
Nevertheless, good spot though 👍

1, swallow an air tag. 2, rush the Bigfoot and have him kill you. 3, when he eats you he will ingest the air tag. 4, have your buddies use the air tag app and track him to assist Bigfoot researchers. Bigfoot researchers around the world will thank you for your intelligence and heroism.

recently I watched a documentary on Peruvian elongated skulls. Has anyone considered the possibility that those bone formations on those skulls could be in direct correlation to the descriptions of conical elongated cranial formations on current known Sasquatch sightings?

would it support data pertaining to sasquatch research or hinder? from what I’ve seen on the documentary any research that was done for the DNA was inconclusive…could this be the smoking gun that squatchers have been looking for?

It kinda looks like sunlight moving on the tree, but then the light is blacked out for a second almost like it’s walking away like you said.

We visited Mount Hood back in May for the first time. A lot of our photos came back with orbs in the background. Beautiful but weird place.
Ya we used to go there every year for the crawdad festival. Every time we saw UFOs. And this was in the 80s
43:16 just after pointing walking stick up the hill you caught something walking I’m telling you I saw it and it’s there!

Most wildlife trackers would attribute broken tops of young conifers to black bear--whammy trees, common scenting posts
True, this is why we didn't make a huge deal about it. Nico was just showing me them and mentioning that they have observed these. What created them, that we do not know. But important to make a note of it either way, just in case.

@@tomwilson5815 True. I've always been really skeptical of any sort of tree breaks, twists and any of that sort of stuff and have always indicated as such (as I did in the video). Nico didn't seem to put much stock in them either but again was just for the sake of data and observation making note of it. NH represent indeed!!

I love cliff philosophy, its the one I always thought you should have. You cant try to sneak into the sneak champion territory. If you read scientist that work with primates, you know its the animal the one that always set the rules for the encounters. If a group of gorillas wants to leave, theres nothing you can do about it. I would urge cliff to use a gopro cam on his chest tho, its always those few seconds...
It’s really unfortunate that there’s such disruption in your microphone; as it not only makes it difficult to hear the people you’re interviewing, but almost impossible to hear the noises you refer to coming from the Forrest.
I don’t know where you had your microphone, but each and every movement from you reflected with horrible muffled & cracking sounds. What a shame. It makes it very unpleasant to watch.
But, other than that constant disruption, the scenery is beautiful and love the concept of what you’re working on. Hopefully, next time, you will correct issues with sound.

Also hillockburn road in estacada take it all the way to memaloose lake. I’ve had two come into camp and one knock back and fourth . They’re here for sure. Me and Shane corsen had an experience on the same lake. When I seen his experience and the shape of the lake from drone I instantly knew where it was. Wish I could talk to him. Anyway. Been watching you guys for a few years now. Love it! Keep it up!

Who knows. Worth a try either way, you never know what might work or not. Nico's cameras captured some other cool wildlife, including Elk, which I doubt were looking for fish!
My home state and I am right down the street from the museum. I’m gonna give you guys two areas where I have had activity. Shell rock lake which is where Shane has his encounter. And at buck lake which is a few miles from there as the crow flys. Something about that area is weird. 😊

I tried telling Cliff Barackman about an encounter me and our whole family had and he couldn't of cared less. We even had detailed tracks in clay and nests in long grass, vocalizations and sightings. As I was telling him this he started doing something else. I just stopped talking and walked away. He didn't even look back up at me, it was really rude! My wife bought his book and got his autograph. She asked me if I had told him what happened to us and I had to tell her that he did not care. She tossed the book back on his table and we left. I realize he hears a lot of stories and I was cautious about just getting to the point but I might as well been talking to the wall. We ended telling a few other Bigfoot enthusiasts and they are now looking at the site and getting some nice results.

At 3611 look over the handlebars of the bike when you freeze video and you don't have to blow up the picture much look for eyes and start piecing it together you'll get the old blobsquatch and some you can make out but the are in a light spectrum or frequency we can't see that well.but they are all around you

Look at the hundreds of encounters, only a handful have been from those seeking to find this cryptid but quite the opposite! A family goes camping and they have a sighting. A person goes hiking and has an encounter…
I think going out and spending weeks at a time just camping and hiking in remote areas will provide an encounter way faster than going out to the same spots daily and looking for evidence!

Well if I was 2 go out there I would go with my equipment. Some how inside my clothes, where as Sasaquach would not know what is going on. And only go with 2 people. And hope 4 the bet.

Out of curiosity. Has anyone thought of making like a "finger print" data base for the community? It would be interesting to see if or where else certain ones go or how far they travel. Sorta like what they do with tagged sharks and whales in the oceans. Something to think about if no one hasn't thought about it

I live in the Mt hood forest outside of Sandy Or. I had an absolutely insane Bigfoot encounter on May 31st 2023 at 12:15 in the afternoon on a perfectly sunny day. It was one of the craziest things I've ever experienced to say the least. I was pretty close and i had a very good view of this thing as I watched it as literally a million questions ran through my head, it felt as if time slowed down.
Because they are always in his territory the Sasquatch is starting to put up markers. This is my thought. The woven branch is along the road where it can be seen. It is not inside the woods. Nico says they are “starting” to see woven branches.
I wonder when these investors are gonna realize that these wood knocks are not actual wood knocks. These creatures can imitate anything. They’re doing it with their mouths. One can think the noise is a hundred yards away and they can be standing right next to you.
