Can you do a more in depth contouring video of double chins? There’s so many types and I feel like I can never really get a good idea on where to go.
High quality content, no clickbait, no overdramatic thumbnails - You are one of the few youtubers, that I really enjoy watching! You are helping a lot of people with your advices and your good explanations! Instead of just throwing makeup at your face, you really concentrate on explaining how to contour/highlight etc. Every face is unique and you show us, how to get the best out of everyone's face. You deserve way more attention =)

how about double chin, that is visible only from the side? i contour my whole neck and under my chin, but it is not always enough :(

YES! I have that too, although this was interesting and useful. I have very small face but from the side, my chin neck is falling. Thank you Aly, you are so very talented. I dont think any other YT-MU artist knows lighting as well as you!
I mean, it is a layer of skin, i don't think you can hide that much with makeup
I used to have that same experience even though I'm super skinny, my skin used to hang between my chin and my neck. It turns out I had a "weak chin" and I had a "receding jaw". I got an orthognathic surgery to correct it and the surgeon added a chin implant. I still sometimes get a double chin in some angles because my jaw is tiny, but my profile is entirely different.
If anyone can relate, you could try adding a chin implant to stretch out the excess chin, or you may have a misaligned jaw which needs a more invasive surgery. They're both worth the pain and money, in my opinion. Also, if your jaw is misaligned it can cause irreversible dental issues so it's in your best interest to check it out if you look like a "Receding Jaw" google search image.
Yes im sorry to say, you cant just hide a layer of skin. You can only hide it a little by addin shadow there but not completely remove it.

What if your chin extends further to the left or right so it looks crooked?

OMG i dont know how to thank you enough my over obsessed with my long and forward chin and jaw as well which in my opinion makes my face longer and less feminine... im a transgender woman i already had a chin shaving surgery but sill i didn obtained what i wanted.. so those tricks are amazing for me , i will try for sure , thanks

What concealer do you use?
Will the technique for the wide jaw work for an oval "egg shaped" face? I feel like my face lacks dimension even though it's oval. My chin is slightly rounded and I want my chin to look more "v-shape" like. Will that technique work for my face or should I use another?
