- Easy mission, that is if you don't take a lot of damage at the top floor and grab the armor later in the level.
Once again the second mission of a game is one of my favorite missions, just like in GoldenEye. I like how it's full of action since the beginning to the ending of it, even though it's a bit short and next missions will step that up, I don't know why this level always stayed as one of my favorites here.
Probably because I kept replaying it back when I didn't even know how to load a save file.

"Bond is Here" NEVER EVER gets OLD.
When King dies I like how calm Bond is when he says "Sir Robert!".
Me and my brother always quote this scene
this game could pass off as an early PS2 title!
PSX! for me!
Not really PS2 had more capability character hands would look better. And no horrible audio compression
It actually was supposed to but didn't for whatever reason
This was almost a PS2 port but then it got cancelled and was released as Agent Under Fire in 2001.
I think it's being played on an emulator, which improves the graphics by a lot
this was a dope game growing up. I remember this game as the "blue 007" because this had the blue cartridge while goldeneye had the simple grey one. This one was way more complex than goldeneye but it was pretty good. Goldenye was pick up and play fps fun even for my 4 year old young self . Crazy how these games are so old yet still are def playable. Graphics are dated obviously but gameplay still stands up somewhat. Sad that 007 kinda fell off, idk if its jus me but 007 just isnt as interesting. Once Pierce Brosnan left it kinda was EHH.
The games did drop some quality after Brosnan left, but for the movies they're still great IMO. I didn't like them at first because I grew up with Brosnan and the change was weird, but after seeing them I knew I was wrong and I love them now.
Quantum of Solace had great online multiplayer and the campaign was fine as I remember it, Blood Stone was kinda like Everything or Nothing which is good, but then 007 Legends arrives and made Activision lose the license for making Bond games... That should tell you how it was. The GoldenEye remake for Wii... I have mixed feelings for that one.
Pierce Brosnan is the only 007 I respect. The movies be made are all classics.
I hated how the bodies stuck around in 007 Legends! That just made things needlessly harder for me.
I love how there's another person on this planet that dubbed this game "the blue 007" when they were a kid
@@Stuckinthen9neties dude daniel Craig is a great james bond
Playing this after putting easily 500 hours into goldeneye as a kid was a breath of fresh air. I loved how similar it was to goldeneye in a few aspects. It felt like a major upgrade in comparison. I remember running through each mission closely examining the little details. The movie and game were way too underrated. Still have my little blue cartridge!
The reloading animation for the machine gun is really good for its time
Anyone else think this level inspired the Virtual Reality scene in Die Another Day?
Exactly what I was thinking
Without a doubt
Yup
@@STONECOLD1988 Exactly
this can pass for google play store game. Graphics holds up pretty nicely.
Fun fact: the graphics engine for this game was built for the ground up to take advantage of the N64 hardware
Those aren't the original graphics. They were much much blurrier and pixelated.
Haha, this game had some of the best death animations for enemies among the many Bond games. Glad to see you're running this one, as I remember asking about three months ago.
Yeah, instead of motion capture for some of the death animations they used physics simulations and then exported them as animations, that's why sometimes they fell as they have ragdoll physics.
@@Graslu00 This mission is one of my favorites!
Die Another Day basically took this level and said "let's put it in the next movie as a simulation." Pretty cool.
This game is without a doubt a worthy successor of goldeneye next to perfect dark.
"Bond is here at his international spy headquarters that we happen to be attacking!"
Lol that always made me laugh in this game "BOOND IS HERE!"
Odd how Q looks nothing like Desmond Llwelyn. It might have been done this out of respect for him since he tragically passed away before this game was released.
But Q in this game actually looks very much like Alec McCowan who played Q in the unofficial Bond film Never Say Never Again
+Lara Croft I actually thought that was some random lead technician, but interestingly enough it would be the case since Desmond Llewelyn had passed away. Alec McCowen has passed away now too, but was still alive when this game came out.
Bond is here! 😂😂😂
I love how they took the simulation and turned into an actual mission in the game. This was probably one of my favorite missions in the game
3:24 An effective way to take out those repelling enemies is to sweep across them while firing your watch stunner. They will fall straight down and die from the fall.
Also, if you stun the security guard (carefully not to stun him till the objective fails) at 5:03 just before he starts talking, you won't have to do the objective he gives you
It's so crazy to see the major differences between the N64 version & the PS1 version.
Oh god I just looked up a video of it. I forgot how much motion sickness ps1 games give me with all those shaky pointy polygon graphics
One cool trick that I do when I play this level is I stun guard at 5:04. By stunning him, you can skip the objective where you have to get Dr. Warmflesh.
I figured this out, too, which made all the difference in beating the 007 Award Time of 3:45 in Secret Agent, to unlock Security Skins in multiplayer, which includes the black Bobbie who can walk through walls.
*BOND IS HERE.*
this shit is so hard to beat on 00 agent
Bond Is Here
I like to think that Sir Robert would've lived if Bond wasn't stuck running errands for every employee of MI6.
Bro got through the whole level and took like 5 shots of damage lol
Woah those graphics are dope for n64
I always shot the first guy before he broke through the window and just watch him drop.
Mad to see again. I think it's actually aged better than Goldeneye. The three year gap between their releases is significant of course; especially when the history of FPS's are concerned.
Goldeneye was ahead of its time. TWINE was behind the times, especially considering Timesplitters released one week after this.
3:36 What the-!? That guy’s shadow is still in the air!!?
3:32 i liked how the guy went down for the stairs when he was killed, this was my favorite level.
I always watch-shocked the guard in Moneypenny's room to obtain his Deutsche M45.
(Also, do you skip an objective with this trick, as he cannot talk to you? I've forgotten...)
All this property security and 00 does it all. 😂💪🙌🔥
OPINION:
Adam Blackwood should've been the voice of Bond in Nightfire.
Fun fact: this game was going to have PC and PS2 ports to be released in 2000/2001 but they were cancelled as EA thought by 2001 too much time had passed since the release of the film and that people wouldn't be interested as talks of the new film, Die Another Day were taking place.
Which is a shame, as those would have been awesome. Do you think so too?
Two years had passed between GoldenEye and GE64 and yet that game was known to be one of the greatest of all time. Yes, they should've waited. I've seen some screenshots of those version. They look awesome.
I didn't know about that, it's interesting to see the images for it.
Personally I didn't like the PC version of Nightfire as much as the console one. But I can't say much about this one without playing it so it could've been really good. If it took the N64 one as reference and not the PS1 (Less levels and such) I think it'd be good.
Here's what I don't understand: EA allowed the Tomorrow Never Dies game to be released two years after the movie (kinda like Goldeneye 64) but not this game? It just seems that publishers (especially EA) don't play by their own rules.
The game could have been lost in the many games/ports released in the PS2 launch window of 2000. I just think the money was better spent in creating something that utilized the power of the PS2.
This game was ported to the PS2/GameCube/Xbox and then later become Agent Under Fire
Dam the enemies reminds me the SAS from Counter Strike and Black Ops from Half Life Opposing Force.
Man, i miss the spy shooter subgenre of FPS. Its time for it to make a proper comeback, either with Bond or with another, PROPER, Perfect Dark game. We've had 20+ yrs of the military shooter. It needs a rest
Great game. Seriously...it's a shame it came out so late in the N64's library
To me the PS1 version had longer levels. I found them interesting and the weapons to be cool. However, it was shunned by the media but it's the one Bond game I grew up with.
I don't think it's a bad game. To be fair, I didn't play it much apart of a long time in an emulator, I just prefer the N64 one personally.
Specially because I don't like how the 3D graphics of the PS1 looked, kinda dizzy if you look at the sides and how they move around lol.
+Graslu00 yes, this is true. It was more, how would I put it... Darker, than the N64. I would say less family friendly
"We're under attack!"
No shit, lady. I never would've guessed that after the fifty guys I killed 🙄
DR WARMFLASH
"BONDISHERE"
*BONDISHERE*
Graslu man you are a legend. Been a huge fan since stumbling upon the Turok stuff. Where are you from?
Hey, thanks! I should finish that stream playthrough some time starting over as it's been so long. I'm from Spain.
Mayor of Big Daddy’s Pizza Oh, I'm fine, this is just deputy Martin from the sheriff's department. *police radio in background*
Goldeneye 64 is one of the most famous games ever. This is like an innoficial successor but it never got ANY attention at all. I never played it. Never cared for it... Its somehow strange...
Those reflective floors look pretty amazing. It even has real-time shadows wow! The characters have better graphics than Goldeneye
What I don't like about characters here is that they look like action figures though, you can clearly see all the joints.
1:21 Is this what the Demoman from Team Fortress 2 did before his mercenary career!?
Never had this version I had PS1 this videogame but is completely different
666th like by me. 😂
Nice playing Graslu, you're great!
Dang you're good. I died first time
What kind of sprinklers need to be activated manually?
Y aqui podemos ver que la nintendo 64 si era bastante poderosa solo que lo limito los cartuchos , me imagino como ubieran sido como mario 64 the legend ocarina of time si ubieran sido con discos
even then as a kid playing this game, I could never understand how Renard was able to marshal enough manpower to attack MI-6 HQ. Now, it's probably because he's a nasty terrorist mofo and probably has lots of cash laying around and it's a game based on the movie
3:25 if you the stun watch it takes out those two instantly
*PSST!! Hey!! Developers of the Goldeneye X conversion for PD64!! Over here!!*
...
Please use this specific level from T.W.I.N.E. as primary inspiration when redesigning the "Carrington Institute" hub for the Brosnan era MI6... PLEASE. I know, this isn't a Rare title, I'm not going to insult anybody's talent by seriously suggesting that it would be a simple cut-and-paste, because it wouldn't be. That would be a logistical nightmare. Not to mention it's a pretty linear "Point A -> Point B" kind of level, which would probably be a terrible idea for an open-hub area.
Especially if you're going to Robinson's Holotraining, or Q-branch for Gadget Training, or chilling with Tanner in the Firing Range...?
(The last time I checked, Graslu00 wasn't involved with any of those kinds of projects, but would probably know who IS. I haven't followed the development of these types of things since a little while after Goldfinger 64 released. It's been a minute. I just happened to think of you guys.)
Un Trome jugando este pana y sin trucos extra 😀😃
Before heading downstairs the room next to the stairway has a body armor as well
There's no armor there on 00 Agent.
this with mouse injector looks like a game that was meant to be released for pc
(kinda looks like soldier of fortune 1)
I should have got this instead of shitty Blast Corps.
Great fun Game
This was really good after Goldeneye.
1:19 lmao
Gun play seems solid, especially for its age. Things like the death and reload animations, particularly the reload animation for the D45, are actually kinda impressive, although, the death animations are definitely a step back from GE, but there still OK. Nice of them to actually stay accurate with weapon design compared to the real life weapons the guns in the game are based off of, specifically with the D45 in terms of ROF and mag capacity. Seems like game designers back then had to focus on the details like that because they knew they just couldn't blow people away with graphics like developers do today.
One of the good things about a game adaptation is the excuse to have a bunch of disposable men paid by Renard to become international terrorists.
Sick game. Only thing against it is that it doesn't play nowhere near as good as Goldeneye.
Did you know how to play as the gas-masked terrorist in multiplayer? It was a secondary outfit to the blue terrorist, but you had to make some input to change.
Good job man great work live your vids Iam doing this game too in my channel
This is totally different to the ‘King’s Ransom’ level on the PS1 game; surely there weren’t two different dev teams producing different games for the same movie on different platforms!?
Just looked it up; there were. I guess it wasn’t possible to get the same engine running on both consoles.
Are you into 16bit games as well? Super NES/Famicom games are often different from Genesis/MegaDrive. One good example is Super Turrican versus Mega Turrican.
The end of evangelion (1997)
Better than the psx version.. cool..
why couldn't this version be published for the ps1 as well? it would have become one of the greatest ps1 games ever. :(
PS1 and N64 versions were made by different developers if I remember correctly, even then they're extremely different systems that can't have games ported between eachother most of the time.
Which emulator are you playing this on? I use 1964 GEPD edition and it doesn't work for some reason.
@@GoldenEyeCentral-el6zj 1964 GEPD as the name indicates is for GE and PD only. Use Project64 instead.
Thanks
Muito melhor e mais completo do que o de ps1
What are you using to play the game controller wise?
I'm using the original N64 controller through an adapter.
My question is, Who killed robert king?
His dauther Electra with Reinard. Its all about money my friend

on his finger and suddenly figured it out
In your opinion this or GoldenEye? I prefer this game
I prefer GoldenEye. Probably because I played it way more when I was young, but I find it with more replayability than this. They're both great games nevertheless.
Makes sense this was the first 007 game I ever played on the N64 back in the day spent all day shooting bots lol
this 1.
Goldeneye, it just seemed like a better Bond game in general. One of the best multiplayer games in the decade. Neat that they could use old Bond characters too.
x)
3:37 What the hell is that shadow?!
Simply a bug where the shadow stays on the same level where his corpse was originally.
1:02
My audio is just crackling on project 64 FIX?
Try using Azimer's Audio Plugin 0.56. If that doesn't give you better results, try 0.60. If that doesn't work either, just keep trying the different ones until you get one that works nicely.
3:27 nice fps pro skill man lol
Peeker's advantage ez

Unlocks like multiplayer skins or maps.
@@Graslu00 That's really cool. I really enjoyed your entire run through of this game. Very fun, and I'm definitely gonna watch all of your stuff lmao.
@@johnvipe Glad you enjoyed!
are you useing a emulator or the actual system?
Nathan m Emulator.
Security guards on this mission are so freakin useless!!!
Bro, fuck this level. I can’t even get to the staircase on 00 Agent without dying... Their aim was trash for you!
Dr. Warmflash? 😅😅😂
The aim feature looks a little off and hard to aim with
Definitely worse than in GE and Perfect Dark, yes.
Looks great, but I don't know if it's is as good as GoldenEye.
It has a lot of flaws in the mission design, it's fun but GE is still better designed.
Do you say this about every other Bond game?
With GE being better designed than the newer ones? Not really, but when it comes to replayability and player feedback when you shoot, it's probably the best still.
My reply was actually to the OP.
Stop with "this gane is better than goldeneye". It's not
True
It is
Your opinion you are allowed your opinion and everyone else is allowed there's no matter what you think.
I know right? How fucking DARE these people have an opinion?
Tiene mejores gráficas este con el Golden eye
ah yes. Other game-copied sound similarities
Deutsche m45 sounding like old version of ump45 from csgo
Porra
This game did not live up to Goldeneye at all
its a worthy bond game. goldeneye and perfect dark on different leagues. TWINE just touches the foot of those games.
Emulator?..
Yes. Latest PJ64 development build.
Ok is it me or this game looks like its unfinished
Unfinished in which way?
Graslu00 well the graphics
Jacob Richardson the graphics are fine it was the n64 what do u expect? 1080p resolution?
I mean the cutscenes aren't finished because the mouths are not moving
I can only think of Turok 3 having animated mouths on N64. Neither GoldenEye or Perfect Dark had mouse animations too.
I dont know why , but killing enemies at this game isnt as satisfying as goldeneye
They aren't, since the animations are way worse, it has no feedback to the player aside of some sparks , and the character models look like action figures.
Yet the character models in GE were fine?
They're pretty much similar.
This game wasn't as smooth running as Goldeneye and Perfect Dark either. But it was still very entertaining in its own right. TWINE multiplayer was really good. Some of the stuff my brother and I did while playing TWINE made for a lot of laughs.
Ain't no way this guy is using a 64 controller. This game was impossible in 00 Agent difficulty and the 64 controller was inaccurate for this guy to be shooting like this
It's being played with the original N64 controller through a Mayflash adapter. Believe whatever you want.
You should really look up the definition for impossible.
Strafing is the key. This mission was not too hard in 00 agent. There were harder ones.
Hector which ones
Remaster this game but for God's sake don't change the character to another actor like you did with goldeneye, and don't touch the gameplay... even here is see some missions missing like russian rolette , Remaster this game but don't touch it's classical touch please !
Bond games generally can't be remastered, just remade - Like GoldenEye Wii. MGM/Danjaq has very strict guidelines on how to handle the franchise for videogames and they wouldn't like having old actors unless there's no current one.
The characters look worse than goldeneye
they don't, do a side by side and you'll see
They look awful lol
you need glasses cuz they clearly look better than GE lol
🤣
haven't played this since I was a kid, but I could've sworn that the top halves of the civilian characters were 2D images, because they were always facing the camera.
dang ive never played or even heard of this but it looks so much worse than goldeneye
This is one of the ripoffs of billy gets grounded n64 2001
Still not better thsn Goldeneye
It's not supposed to be Goldeneye, it's based on another film, but I disagree it did do some things much better and paved the way for the better Bond games of the gc/xb/ps2 generation of consoles.
