RimWorld Multiplayer mod: a peek at massive multifaction

Now that multifaction is quite stable, the goal is to make it scale to support many separate colonies on a single planet.
The video shows 18 players sending their pawns between tiles on the planet using drop pods. The players are real RimWorld instances with scripted interactions set to follow the client in the top right corner. Note that 18 is nowhere the limit for scalability - I was just limited by the number of RW instances I could start on computers at home.

My question is: Can two separate factions live in the same hex?
Most of the time we played on the same hex, but as “allied separate factions” (we divided the territory and lived in different corners). This way we play as individual colonies, but still maintain some co-operation. This update appears to fix a lot of the workarounds we've developed for this issue and we're very excited, but if we can't play as separate factions on the same hex it will be sad(
wait, that functonality was added in october..... I need to test something...

realmente me fascina ver como este mod haga incluir a mas personas querer jugarlo junto con amigos, esto puede llegar a ser aun mejor y aunque este solo sea mi opinion este tiene un potencial para mas. Solo son ideas algo simple para ti talvez pero a ver si te ayudan mas.
Adjuntare todo en un parrafo las ideas que tengo:
Si bien yo he tenido la oportunidad de probarlo con amigos, el hecho de que varios jugadores se unan al mundo me emociono, pero algo puede atraer incluso a mas personas es un pvp del mundo. Mas que todo sirva para entre amigos o streamers o youtubers. El hecho de que cada uno pueda hacer su base, diferente faccion y religion, pudiendo (creo yo sin aceleradores de tiempos) atacar, comerciar o hasta incluso un tipo de alianza, y yo se de por si que hay varios factores, tal como el problema del delay o de por si como para hacer un mod asi se tiene que modificar y agregar mas mecanicas al juego, un claro ejemplo seria como toma el cuenta cuentos a los otros jugadores. Ya de por si metiendonos mas dentro es muy complejo, pero lo tratare de simplificar. Jugador ataca jugador en su base, el cuenta cuentos tal vez te habra la opcion de pedir ayuda segun lo que dispongas, tienes un trabordador y recursos sobrantes?, hecho, el cuenta cuentos enviara un señal de ayuda a una faccion que tengas aliada o a un jugador random con recompenzas dependiendo incluso hasta de lo que estes dispuesto a pagar, pero llega incluso hasta este caso que si el jugador que ayudo, pueda que te traicione y etc. Rimworld es un juego donde puede suceder de todo es un vida de entre tantas con una historia por detras. Saludos y tengo mas ideas
if i host a game and a friend starts a settlment, what happens if they want to play their settlement by themselves on another day? basically how does it save your colony for clients vs hosts

Side note - how will time speed work? Given multiple bases I feel game would be pausedm every few seconds
Looks like time would be seperate for each base. there already such capabilities in this mod.

First of all, what an astonishing mod you're making, i was in this journey from the very (glitchy) beginning, i can't believe how far you come
Now, i was playing with my gf a while ago and i didn't know what multifaction was but i enabled it even though we played in the same colony (4 pawns) but when we reach a 2-pawn caravan's destination it just deleted those 2 pawns idk why, it kept deleting them until i disabled this function (when i found out about it and got hyped to invite all my friends), idk ehy it happened but maybe its something you would be interested in fixing

multyfaccion, funcional with ideology custom works?
Hey just wondering, does it work now ? I am currently trying with a friend, we each have our own faction, and every time we try to caravan to the other player's location the game desyncs (Async is ON). Am I doing something wrong or is this not functional yet ?
I tried this mod with no other mods and got desync issues. Not sure why. I got to a point where it became unplayable. We used the join through steam feature is that not as good as direct?
