I show you how to retrofit a newer vapor canister and purge solenoid from a 1995 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham in a 1990-1992 Cadillac Brougham, though this guide can be applied to other GM vehicles.
Since my EVAP canister was discontinued, I was trying various workarounds to resolve some issues with my engine stalling after long drives and filling the gas tank. Retrofitting a different one onto my car fixed all my issues and I was able to undo all my workarounds.

Never thought I would find a video of exactly what I needed, thank you for posting! I have a 1991 Cadillac Brougham hearse also, and was having the same issues. Checked the Vapor canister and it was beat.

I’m trying to find out how to get my 2015 scion tc to pop and backfire what do you recommend?

If you get a header and a 2.5" free flowing exhaust, you can generally get a nice, natural crackle when letting off the gas, or at least mine does that. I honestly don't recommend getting tunes that force crackles or backfires, but if that's what you want, you could look at the vFTuner and use the map I have posted in one of my VFtuner crackle video.

Think this will work on a 91 Firebird with a TPI engine? Has the same oem part number canister “17090155 MD”
