I'm an introvert and yet I have a RUclips channel! In this video I'll give you my top 5 tips for starting and maintaining a RUclips channel as a shy introvert. If any of you are thinking of starting your own channel and you're wondering how you can do it, I hope that this video will help! Natasha xxx
What a lovely painting. I'm a big fan of your work. I have no interest in creating a RUclips channel but I think one of the reasons I enjoy your channel so very much is that I find your videos soothing to watch. As an introvert - watching a video where the person is so outgoing can feel rather grating and uninspiring.
Some time ago I watched a video of an Australian RUclipsr with quiet an big audience making rude comments about an german artist, who filmed his domestica lessons in english. She talked about his german coming through. I see that a lot in the comments of non native english chanels, too. I can imagine that this is also a fact that stops people from starting a chanel or putting only text on the screen. I personally love when I can watch RUclipsrs in their own language with subtitles. The world is colorful and so are the different languages. People with a love for art should be more appreciative about that in my opinion🌈 Thank you, Natasha, for all you do and share. I am currently hearing along your little podcasts on patreon and enjoy that very much!
I agree with you! That's a terrible thing for the Australian RUclipsr to do. On another topic, I'm so pleased to hear that you're enjoying the Patreon Podchats! :)
As a very are RUclipsr who is extremely introverted, I loved this video. It was very encouraging to me, for while I love photography and filming, a usually hate pictures and videos of myself! But I am slowly getting more confident and less self-conscious. The biggest challenge is being patient with myself, not getting too discouraged when my follower growth is slow, and remembering that ultimately I am doing this for my own creative joy!
I am also an introvert and it took me quite a while before I started my channel. Even then I didn’t want to talk in my video’s, because English is also not my native language and I hate my accent and my own voice. So I did little text balloons or closed captures in my video’s. But after about a year or something, more and more people asked about spoken tutorials, so I felt a little bit the need to talk in my video’s. And you’re right, editing is indeed your friend, because I also stumble a lot. What I want to say sounds good in my head until it comes out of my mouth.
As a fellow introvert who has just started a RUclips channel for her art, these tips are great. I, like you, would love to build up to the point where I can sit down and chat to the camera but for now, my hands will have to do. :) I suppose more often, it is all about giving ourselves that permission to go against the grain and do what feels comfortable to us.
I think you are very brave. I am very shy and private. I can’t talk naturally into a camera or voice recording, I find it very unnatural. My biggest fear would be thinking people I know might watch me if I had a RUclips channel. Thank You for sharing your journey Natasha and I love your bird paintings 😊
I got suggested this video by a friend and it was very helpful. Thank you. I've been struggling whether to show my face and I really don't want to. It's good to know it's not a requirement and many others feel the same as me.
I was encouraged to start a channel to show my art but laughed at the idea because I didn't even watch RUclips. But I thought about it for a few years. Then I decided to start a gaming channel where I could show my game and do voice overs. That's been growing for a few years now. Then I started this new channel to do my art. Mostly though I've just been making videos of my photos of wild birds at a local lake and doing voice overs of those photos. My plan is to use some of those photos as references for future art works. I've done a few of those paintings and drawings but haven't made any videos of the process yet.
I love your approach, you’re so calm and steady, being an introvert who suffers from anxiety myself I find your videos so calming, I sometimes just listen as I draw and I’ve even nodded off with your music choices. You’ve really helped me in many ways artistically and emotionally. Thank you and don’t stop creating x
The content you made has really inspired me, especially the chatty-type youtube channel 😂 I really enjoyed it. Thank you very much for sharing your art creating process, and creating interactions online. Keep on making art and being inspired and creative! 😊
Thanks for this video! I'm also an introvert and started a YT channel almost a year ago. I've mostly opted to be off camera with the occasional on-camera shots. Your style of filming has definitely been an inspiration and a wonderful example for us fellow introverts. :-)
Firstly, what a beautiful piece of art you made. I love the colours and mood in the night time bird painting. Secondly, I wanted to thank you for your content which I enjoy watching. You have such a calming and soothing voice which makes your videos relaxing to listen to and watch. I've been teaching myself how to paint watercolour in between studies this past year and you inspire me to paint and find my own peace in the process. Thank you for all you do. ⚘🌻⚘ kind regards from a friend in Australia.
Hello . I am a loner .I will watch soon . Not everyone is your friend, so that’s a good warning to everyone. You need to be strong , cuz people will hurt you . Using your disabilities against you . Take care I am looking for real people real friends who don’t bully . ❤
Hey Natasha ❤ I really love your painting and I was struggling to start up my RUclips Channel for so many years but I feel reassured after watching your video ! thanX a lot and I feel it's time for me to finally showcase my coloring pencils 😊
I want to start a RUclips channel as a kind of documentation of my journey. I finally found the confidence to start learning watercolor and drawing. But I’m still struggling with the RUclips. I want to keep a record because I know that today my art is horrible, but slowly I will get there. Slowly than most, due to health issues, but I’ll get there. =) Thanks for the video.
I think that’s why I’ve never been successful in any of my creative ventures because I never wanted to be in front of the camera and it seems it’s almost a requirement these days on social media. Watching this video has made me realize that I am indeed an introvert and it’s okay and that there are work around for us. Thank you!
Thanks so much for this Natasha, all your tips are really encouraging. I find it difficult to even show my hands on camera let alone my face!😆 I hope one day to be brave enough to talk on my videos.x
Yes, I totally get it, Jess! Even that is a bit nerve-wracking (I had someone who left an insulting comment about my hands once). You will find that your confidence grows the longer you do it though. :) x
I'm rather introvert but I'm alright with talking... as long as I'm talking to an actual person, with a face in real life, like flesh & bones. Talking to a camera, an icon, an animation on a chatting app, a flat face or picture on a video call or anything else... it makes me anxious and I easily lose track... and I don't feel comfortable at all. Nice tips BTW, and nice painting 😊
I am also an introvert with a RUclips channel. These are great tips. I am hoping that time and practice will get me more comfortable so that I can have live streams.
i had a channel when you tube first started ,i had very few views but i tried i made 25 you tube videos ,i had fun and learned something new ,many years later they took my channel away ,i think it was due to music i had in the back ground ,now im older and wiser and have lots to share but im not up to what it takes ,so i watch videos all day instead of paying for cable,im an artist but just create for the joy of it,im glad you are here
Thank you so so much! Your words are so healing. I wanted a RUclips channel so bad bud never even tried it because with the struggle to show my face I quit filming at some point everytime I tried. I'm so happy that you shared your thoughts and these tips with us. I'm feeling so inspired, thank you ☺️🥰
Hi Natasha 😊 I agree with your advice on introvert ways to have a RUclips channel 😊 most of them is what I do I struggled very much and still do with how can input it……. Strong personalities I guess…. Pushy people with comments etc - in the early days I thought to be successful I needed to reply to everything but now most times I actually switch comments off 🤣
im an introvert, but when I'm talking to a camera its ok, or when im doing a live, its like im talking to myself....something I always do! haha! thank you, great video :)
I can say this because I am a shy person 😊 but shy people get a bad rap, we come off to others as snooty or we would like to be somewhere else. Well maybe that last part is true but it’s not what they are thinking 😛 but that could be further from the truth. I want to be where I am but it’s hard to break out of that shell, breaking through and be the person you want to be so, good on you for stepping out and putting yourself out there. I have to say this is the main reason I haven’t started a RUclips channel, always thinking why would anyone be interested in what this shy person has to say. So, thanks for sharing this! ♥️
My brother has his own RUclips channel and has been doing 2 livestreams per week for years but he’s a complete confident extrovert. I appreciate your content as a fellow introvert that can be social but has finally accepted not all people are the same
Natasha, thank you so much for making this video! What a great idea to share your previous apprehensions for those of us that are experiencing same issues presently. I so enjoy the thoughtfulness and slow pace of your videos bc it helps me linger on your process which is what I love in art. Another thing I love is the clean look of your videos! I am so messy with mixed media and fear I would have paint all over the table and camera most likely lol😂. Have a wonderful Holiday season ! I hope Santa brings you some art goodies for a haul video. Many thanks! Kim❤❤
It has encouraged me ❤️ I am in a position that I think a lot of people unexpectedly find themselves in but we don't hear from them so it's invisible. I have severe PTSD and have become isolated as a consequence. I wasn't a shy or cautious person in my younger years but life has created changes in my personality and thinking that I struggle to get a handle on. I would love to start a channel but my "new" (it's not new, just not how I started) cautious nature makes me less confident at putting myself out there. Your video has given me food for thought, and a truely appreciate it. Your painting is beautiful and was enjoyable to watch, and your voice and words were lovely to listen to. Thank you ❤️
Lovely video. 🥰 You are doing something you love and being true to who you are. That makes me interested in your channel and I enjoy it immensely! Thank you. ❤️
This video speaks to me, I deleted all my videos because I felt like I couldn’t have videos without showing my face on camera. I guess I need to give it another go. 🎥 That sweater looks so Cosy on camera! Lol all my sleeves have a little paint in them 😂 🎨
Thank you for this video and advice. I would like to start a you tube channel but am not sure what I want to do or say would be interesting to people. I love listening to your voice it is so calming and you are right perhaps introverts attract an introvert audience. I love you channel and have learned so much about paints from you already. This morning just put my watercolour tubes into pans for pallets as wasn't using them. :)
It’s lovely hearing your tips and thoughts on this. Out of curiosity, when did you start your channel and what was your growth like? Is it supposed to be hard to grow?
I signed up to YT in 2018 but didn't start my channel until early 2019. Growth was slow but steady for the first couple of years and I was at about 4k followers when one of my videos got picked up by the RUclips algorithm and shown to lots of people. That (among other things) helped to grow my channel over the past 1.5 years or so to the 24k it's at right now. I have found it a bit hard to grow, to be honest - it's taken a lot of time and dedication to gain some traction on here, but I enjoy doing it! It ebbs and flows - I'm going through a bit of a 'down' period at the moment where my videos aren't being shown to very many people, but hopefully something good will happen again soon. It often happens when you least expect it!
Thanks Natasha! I am a massive introvert and after many years of wanting a youtube chanel I finally started this year! I am hoping it will help my confidence grow. I have really enjoyed being able to edit voice overs, it's a life saver! Thank you for the tips. X
This is all such great advice. I started creating videos for my students because many were struggling with the pace of the class. The learning curve was very steep and although I can teach a class of students, I could barely speak when talking to a camera. Realizing that I didn’t need to be on camera and could do voice overs was a real turning point for me. Editing is definitely an introvert’s friend! (Also…it’s okay to write scripts of what you want to say.) I thoroughly enjoy your videos and your art. Your paintings make me look at the world around me in a different way.
Natasha, thanks for sharing yourself and your process! I'm sure what you said will be encouraging to your viewers who really want to do videos, but feel too shy and/or lack confidence. I'm an extrovert, primarily, although I can have my quiet moments when I want to be by myself. 4-5 yrs ago, when I was doing mostly paper crafting, I made some YT videos. They weren't all that great and I didn't follow all the YT guidelines very well...the algorithm ignored me and I got very few views, so I stopped. My focus is now on my fine art and then I also do part-time vintage reselling. I've thought about doing YT videos again, but honestly, the amount of time it takes to make videos & edit is more than I can cope with right now. Thanks again for being brave and sharing your creative world with your viewers. I love watching you and seeing you create your beautiful art....hearing your soft & soothing voice and occasional giggles. Take care. ❤
Thank you for the video, I can definitely relate to that. I’m also an introvert who had considered for a long time having a channel and this year I finally took the plunge. It’s been a learning curve for me and I definitely don’t feel like showing my face any time soon, but I think I’ve grown in confidence while speaking to the camera. It’s also very rewarding to be able to connect with people and build a little community. I’m just trying to find a way now not to get too caught on stats and algorithm, not to discourage myself from continuing.
Thanks Carol! It's a very rewarding thing to do, but as you said, it's very easy to get caught up on stats and the algorithm. My last few videos have struggled - it's still very up and down for me. It ebbs and flows! Just a couple of months ago I had my best month ever. I think we need to look at it as a marathon rather than a sprint, and just keep creating/keep going. :)
Thanks for these helpful thoughts Natasha, I am an introvert too and can relate to most of the things you mentioned. I discovered your Instagram first and then found you on RUclips around the same time as my RUclips journey was starting and always find calmness and creativity in your posts. Editing and voiceovers are definitely my friends too, sometimes I have such a hard time articulating what I want to say and it takes a bunch of tries for me to get it out. I also find that talking whilst I am painting distracts from the experience with my abstract work, I normally paint to process a thought or emotion so doing the narration would stop that flow in some cases. I hope to work my way up to live streams one day, as one of the reasons I started my channel in the first place was to create a community so I would love to actually interact with other people at some point (social anxiety permitting). Thanks again for sharing all you do.
Natasha your amazing as an introvert myself I couldn’t do a RUclips channel. I found this little video interesting on how you go about creating your channel whilst being shy and you sure succeed in doing that well done Natasha your amazing and a brilliant artist who inspires me so much xxx ❤
Very timely! I am planning to start making regular videos in the New Year. I’ve made a couple in the past and actually enjoyed it, but like you, I don’t like showing my face. I’m also concerned about the energy it may take, as I don’t want it to detract from painting. I tend to feel like I have to respond to every comment too, and I’m glad to know you don’t! Thanks for this ❤
I enjoy your videos, I find them very relaxing as well as informative 😊 Definitely food for thought, as an introverted artist who struggles on Instagram with ‘pushing myself forward’ (something I was told off for as a child!) I might be able to cope with filming my hands painting! I’ve gone as far as having a you tube handle, anyway😄
I am very introverted and I too have wanted to start having a RUclips channel as I enjoy being able to see my art process. Thank for the tips and advice in this, I hope to start making videos at some point! 🍂🥰
Great tips, in my case I like my face more than my hands and my art after all is educating others where I can. I just posted my very first video and as an introvert it totally helps that it is just me and the camera. At least for me!
I'm so thankful you made this video! I've been terrified to start a RUclips channel for these very reasons. I've had several people ask me to start one to share my art and sculpting, but I'm too scared of mean comments and responses. I loved these tips!
Thanks Jennifer! Please don't let the fear of mean comments stop you. They are few and far between when you consider the number of people who watch the videos/comment on the videos. You should go for it!
Thank you for making this video Natasha. Privacy has always been my primary concern and the reason why I have not yet started a channel. Should I use my full name? Etc. This information that you discussed was very helpful and I’m grateful for the time that you invested.
Ahh, Natasha, there is so much to relate to here! I am also an introvert, though I am getting better at showing my face and can just about do short bursts to camera, but you should see the amount of outtakes!!! I find it very hard to record a long monologue and have to write a script and record in short sections, sometimes as short as a sentence. The hard part is then making it sound natural! Thanks for the encouraging video though, I hadn't considered the format I find most natural to be part podcast but I guess it is :) XXX
The script is a lifesaver haha. I find I have to be alone in the house in order to record it and it to sound natural. If someone else is in the house at the same time, I am wayyyy too self-conscious :/
I'm so late in answering this comment, Lee, but what you've described is exactly what I do too! It helps me to feel a bit better knowing that you also find it hard. ;) xxx
I liked the tip about not having to reply to comments. I watch someone who never replies, I do find I'm less invested in her channel. But I do understand you don't have to reply to everyone. Since I watch a lot of youtube and have many things I could share with others, I don't have any interest in the editing side of making videos. It seems extremely tedious and I don't have the patience or interest to learn. Also my health will most definitly get in the way of making videos regularly. Even my posting on instagram is all over the place. So I tend to comment more on videos and posts I like and the content creators I enjoy, like you!
I love replying, because it makes connections! I've had some very interesting conversations with people in the comments, and I kind of feel that it's a big part of RUclips; to build a community. But it's impossible to answer all of them once your channel gets to a certain size, so I never get offended if other creators don't answer my comments! It's interesting that you've said about editing videos - I find it creative and do enjoy it but it's SO time-consuming. It can be a bit of a burden sometimes!
I have started my channel to get over my fear this so i speak on the camera but I noticed that I sound amazing when doing voice overs but when the camera is on it’s scary😢But I will keep going
Really good tips, however my shyness levels still go through the roof at the thought. As an artist (I practice under a diff name) I really struggle with the publicity side. I think it is amazing that you share your work here, also in such an authentic, kind and approachable manner. Anyone who is not introverted will know the bravery of even stepping on the first rung of the ladder of sharing your creativity process in a wide access way. Ps. I've bought some of the acrylic gouache. Excited to use. Through out the video I could see a light grey and a almost peach, pale orange in the top left hand corner. Do you know what shades these are?
This is so strange... I've been thinking about creating a youtube channel since 2016 but thought that it's too scary to put yourself out there so much. But looking at your videos and other channels I thought it was cool and some part of me still wanted to do that. So, I kept thinking about it on a regular basis. I filmed my first video, edited it and just an hour ago I closed the editor thinking again that it looked stupid and the whole idea was stupid and I shouldn't do it. And now I open RUclips and see this video... I'm definitely taking it as a sign!!!
I can relate here so much I've had my art channel for years on here and I did post 4 videos back then ut deleted them ...thank you!!💕💕 for this is invaluable 👐 major Introvert here lol .so many great tips 👌
Such great tips Natasha! I'm thinking (or is it overthinking?!!) of doing videos but I feel so overwhelmed by the technical aspects like editing and doing voiceovers. Any advice or tips for that? I so enjoy every video you put out, it's honestly a treat. xx
Lovely painting Natasha. I have been thinking about filming for a you tube Chanel. Though I have for some years thoughts of myself as fairly extrovert, in fact I now know that I am more introvert and that wearing an extravert mask is really tiring me out! Please could you let me know which overhead filming equipment you use? If you have time x
I got mine from Amazon, Luna! Just search "overhead phone holder" (I use my iPhone to film these videos) and you'll see lots of different ones in a range of prices. My only advice: don't get the 'gooseneck' type as they're very wobbly! x
Haha the struggle is real, Natasha! 🥴😅 I find it VERY hard doing spontaneous, unscripted voice overs, let alone appear on camera 😅 I love my current process of creating videos, but would also like to be able to connect with others in a more relaxed, chatty and spontaneous way 🤔 I'm hoping practice makes perfect (or at least: good enough 😉) so I will keep trying 😅 Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this topic - I love your channel!
I have all of the equipment, but I am PETRIFIED of starting! I don't know what to talk about. I mean - I know that I'll be watercolor painting, do I write a script? Can I treat it like writing a blog post and use that? I am so scared, lol
You are an image of God. Don't forget that. God made you you and He never said to you to be on the scale of extrovert or introvert. He only said to love Him only.❤
The finished piece is gorgeous 🥰 some good tips as well. I did try posting videos but found it wasn’t really for me (i.e. I really can’t be fussed with learning to edit 😅)
Always looking forward to your videos. They are calming and educational. I am wondering in this video though, how did you clean off the acryla gouache from your palette as I thought acrylic hardens and sticks to palettes?
Thank you, Evelyn. :) Just give it a quick soak in some water and the acrylic gouache kind of lifts off - I then collect up as much as I can with some kitchen paper and put it in the bin. Give the palette a quick scrub in soapy water and it's fine!
I find it surprising that back in 2014 you thought that RUclips = showing your face. I’m thinking of setting up my own channel and facing the camera isn’t even something I’m considering. It never occurred to me until now that anyone would find that unusual. To me, not being on camera is a very natural, run-of-the-mill decision. Many of the artists I follow on instagram don’t show their faces. Even the artists I only occasionally watch don’t show their faces. Just to be clear, I do not consider myself an introvert.
You must be one of my subscribers then? I can’t even get myself to speak on video…much less show my face. I wanted to start a channel for the very same reasons as you, but I’m really uncomfortable with speaking on camera. I do see that people want to hear me, because I like hearing when I watch other RUclipsrs, but I just can’t get myself to do so. Also, I can’t think of anything interesting to say, and I find it difficult having a conversation with myself.
I think you should just do what you feel comfortable with, but maybe practice talking to yourself throughout your day without filming it, and it may become more "normal" to you? I don't know; just a suggestion! ;)
I liked your painting @:22. It just needed a pigeon's legs and feet (or not) - or a seagull's. (Just for the record, I hate it when someone shows an angle of them speaking as if they're talking to someone or an audience, and they're not! It's off-putting, and I'm a lot less likely to give them a Like. Face the camera or the subject at hand, for crying out loud, if you're showing your face!)
I'm an introvert and yet I have a RUclips channel! In this video I'll give you my top 5 tips for starting and maintaining a RUclips channel as a shy introvert. If any of you are thinking of starting your own channel and you're wondering how you can do it, I hope that this video will help! Natasha xxx

I've only just found your channel and find it such a peaceful place to spend my time....thank you, from one introvert to another!
That is so sweet :)
Thank you so much, Kay!
I enjoy your videos! I like listening to you and watching you make your art. You’ve got a nice voice!
Thank you so much, Tracy!
I find your voice to be soothing & helpful while I paint. I enjoy the way your videos are filmed as well and I look forward to your next one!
Thank you so much, Betsy!
Aw, the bird looks very beautiful with the moon… ❤️

Thank you so much, Wendy!
Good luck! It takes some time. :)
i had a channel when you tube first started ,i had very few views but i tried i made 25 you tube videos ,i had fun and learned something new ,many years later they took my channel away ,i think it was due to music i had in the back ground ,now im older and wiser and have lots to share but im not up to what it takes ,so i watch videos all day instead of paying for cable,im an artist but just create for the joy of it,im glad you are here
Thank you, Gina! I agree with you; I watch RUclips more than any other channel or streaming service.
Thank you so so much! Your words are so healing. I wanted a RUclips channel so bad bud never even tried it because with the struggle to show my face I quit filming at some point everytime I tried.
I'm so happy that you shared your thoughts and these tips with us. I'm feeling so inspired, thank you ☺️🥰
I'm so glad that you're feeling inspired! That's lovely to hear. Thank you for watching. :)
Hi Natasha 😊
I agree with your advice on introvert ways to have a RUclips channel 😊 most of them is what I do
I struggled very much and still do with how can input it…….
Ha ha, me too! I'm always talking to myself when I'm pottering around the studio or house. ;)
I appreciate your content as a fellow introvert that can be social but has finally accepted not all people are the same
Love the painting and the chat! Thank you :)
Glad you enjoyed it, Maria! Thank you.
Thank you ❤️
A wonderful video that is much needed on RUclips. Many thanks💛
That sweater looks so Cosy on camera! Lol all my sleeves have a little paint in them 😂 🎨
Please do give it another go! :)
Thanks for always being encouraging Natasha! 💙
@@NatashaNewtonArt thank you for responding, I appreciate it. That’s really reassuring to hear, you’ve done so well to grow as you have
Thanks Natasha! I am a massive introvert and after many years of wanting a youtube chanel I finally started this year! I am hoping it will help my confidence grow. I have really enjoyed being able to edit voice overs, it's a life saver! Thank you for the tips. X
Well done for starting, Louann! Your confidence will grow, just give yourself time. :) x
Such a beautiful painting.
(Also…it’s okay to write scripts of what you want to say.)
I thoroughly enjoy your videos and your art.
Take care. ❤
Thanks for this video . Gorgeous painting !
I much prefer watching you, I love your voice and demeanor x
Aw, thank you! x
I am an introvert and this video is really helpful. Thank you ❤
I'm so glad it was helpful!
Thank you for making this video Natasha. Privacy has always been my primary concern and the reason why I have not yet started a channel. Should I use my full name? Etc. This information that you discussed was very helpful and I’m grateful for the time that you invested.
This is a very good point, Rob. If I started again, I would probably not use my real name/full name!
Love your honesty 💛☕️🍰💐
Thank you! 🤗
lovely lovely bird
Many thanks!
Many thanks!
It helps me to feel a bit better knowing that you also find it hard. ;) xxx
Totally THIS. ;)
@@NatashaNewtonArt It's definitely good to know I'm not the only one! I wonder if it will get easier over time? XX
Thank you, I really appreciate your kind comment! I think the colours you saw might be Holbein's Neutral Grey No.3 and Jaune Brillant?
All great tips❤ I love the little bird he’s so cute ☺️
Thanks so much, Amber! 😊 x
These are great tips. I never heard about the mirror technique before and I will have to try it.
100% take this as a sign! Go for it, and good luck, Elizaveta.
Thank you so much for this video! This is exactly what I'm feeling.. ❤✨
Such good tips. Your channel is so inspiring. Thank you
Thanks Paula!
Lovely❤
Lovely painting! Great advice! I hope more people like you feel empowered to put their creati e content out there!
Thanks Bethany!
Thanks so much for this, Natasha. I've just started my RUclips channel and this is so timely for me. Sich an inspiration 😀
Good luck! :)
I can relate here so much I've had my art channel for years on here and I did post 4 videos back then ut deleted them ...thank you!!💕💕 for this is invaluable 👐 major Introvert here lol .so many great tips 👌
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching. :)
This was an inspiring video!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it, thank you!
wonderful, thanks fo sharing. i also prefer to make videos and no livestreams here :D
Such great tips Natasha! I'm thinking (or is it overthinking?!!) of doing videos but I feel so overwhelmed by the technical aspects like editing and doing voiceovers. Any advice or tips for that? I so enjoy every video you put out, it's honestly a treat. xx
10:29 Boy oh boy, does that sound like me 😂
“Why on earth did I say that; I sound completely stupid!” Yup, that’s me as well 😂.
Thank you so much! I think that the more you do it, the more natural it will feel = the more natural you'll sound. :)
Editing is a bit of a pain in the butt - it's so time consuming to edit well, but it's also quite creative so I do enjoy it! Thanks Nikki. :)
@@NatashaNewtonArt Thank you for the tip!
Back in 2014 pretty much everyone I watched showed their face on camera - YT has changed a lot!
@@NatashaNewtonArt I think that’s a good thing. I’m not an introvert but i don’t think I want to show my face on camera.
Great video, what program do you use for editing? How did you learn to edit?
I only use iMovie, and I basically taught myself! (There are some good RUclips tutorials out there too).
@@NatashaNewtonArt Awesome that's what I want to use, I have an iPad and hope to do my editing on it.
First! Well, at least first non-Natasha 😄
🎉🎉🎉
Thanks :)
