Hey Lady.....I'm so proud of you....I remember you had that video of how that salon damaged you hair with the blow dry heat damage. Ever since you started caring for your own hair.....you've had a beautiful come back. You hair looks fantastic 👌....Keep up the good work. Thanks for being such an inspiration to the black African community in caring for our kinky coily hair. WE CAN DO IT!!!!. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for the detailed tutorial. My twist outs are a work in process. I have 2 different curl patterns, at least 2 different densities and slightly different degrees of low porosity throughout my head. I’m trying to learn how to flat twist, as I think that will give me the best results. For the time being, twist and curls and braid and curls give me the best results.
They really are a work in progress for us all, it's taken me a lot of trial and error to get to this stage, and I totally get the struggle of having multiple textures and patterns! Thanks for sharing as always 💖
Girl this came out amazing😍 and thanks for the detailed steps. I think my issue with this many twists and then not separating is that my hair is so thin. It doesn’t look it, when in a puff. But sometimes when I do twist outs or braid outs, there’s hardly any hair there. Oh and it always comes out different😂
Hello.. I have a question and I hope someone might help me with..I am well aware that box braids on a non-black person is put by default under cultural appropriation. But here’s the thing, it is a protective hairstyle. I am middle eastern with a type 3A-3B curly hair that is prone to breakage since it is processed and i wanna grow it out. having a protective hairstyle will save me a lot of hassle in my daily life, and since i have the appropriate hair texture required to have this type of a protective hairstyle, can i still do it? Im not doing it for the aesthetic, i’m doing it for the benefits and the functionality. I genuinely do not want to offend anyone by having it. I am well aware and well educated on the history of black hairstyles and protective hairstyles in general since i’m a hair-nerd myself. My hair needs the protection boxbraids provide for it to grow out in a healthy way
I think you should do what's best for your hair. Somebody may well be offended though, you can't control that 🤷🏾♀️ I'm not sure what else to add, none of us can really give you 'permission' but you're aware that offence may well follow so make your decision accordingly.
It depends a lot on your hair, close bristles don't break my hair at all - for twist outs, finger detangling alone doesn't work for me. I've heard good things about aloe vera 🙂
Please stay to the end of the video- the best tip comes toward the end! 😁 Also please SHARE with a friend who needs help with twistouts!

First time here. I looked in the description box but I don't see... what kind of brushes that pink brush with the fingers??
it's beautiful...😍
Thank you! 💖
This is a great video! Thank you
You're welcome!
Thank you for the video!! How long does it stay like this and how do you maintain it ?
It can last up to 10 days or so but it can start to get quite frizzy after a week. I just put a bonnet or scarf on at night. x
Can you share the link for the bonnet you used?
I believe it's linked in the description below the video (click on 'Show more')
😍
Thank you!
