How does human society produce in this future where the origin of this technology was conceived from a capitalistic society ? If robots make up the most of what is produced then how are income levels set by individuals ? UBI has to be inevitable which is why they are preparing for a digital currency to control how citizens are compensated . How would people become wealthy if all they do is consume rather than produce ? It sounds like a socialized system where people will be rewarded by their consumer behavior rather than what service or product they produce. We can be well short of singularity to see these problems realized.

The "Singularity" will NOT be good for humankind! Two main reasons: 1. It's already prophesied in the Book of Revelation, and is not seen as a good thing. 2. Mankind is basically already evil, and does not have the ability to make this good! As long as selfishness, greed, anger, hatred, and lust all continue in the hearts of humanity, so will the "ROBOTS" that we create in our own image, with which we will reach this "Singularity".
