TTTE Thriving in Employment June 2023 - solutions for working people with vision impairment

This webinar is devoted to matters relating to employability and assistive technology used by vision impaired people in the workplace. It is aimed at those who are underemployed, whose jobs are in jeopardy, those self-employed, or outside the workforce, as well as those seeking to improve productivity and advance their careers.
The webinar will also be of interest to employers who might be taking on a vision impaired employee, or wondering how best to support existing employees.
Georgia Miller, Manager Job Access Advisory & EAF, will explain the role of JobAccess and encourage people to engage with them. Robert Raiteri, Employment Consultant at Vision Australia, will discuss the importance of pre-employment services and how they can set people up for better career opportunities.
You will learn firsthand from someone who has had personal experience. Danny Keogh, Quantum's own Blindness Product Support Specialist, will share some of the barriers he has faced and how technology has assisted him.
Quantum will demonstrate Assistive Technology commonly used at work, and discuss case studies across various working environments.
