I strongly disagree with the wsx not being a real title. Everyone raced, it had more races, and James won. That was why the 06 season was so cool, RC and Stewart split the titles. If no one took it serious then RC wouldn't have been part time in 07. He has admitted many times he realized James had more indoors.

Ricky was lucky those races took place or he wouldn't have been prepaired for the regular season for speed. He can be as fit as he wants, James was straight up faster than him over the course of a 450sx main most of the times that they raced.
Chad Reed beat Carmichael for the regular title that year. But the AMA showed their favoritism Toward Ricky and gave him his 25 points back after having illegal fuel. Same thing happened to Reed the previous year but the AMA didn't give him his points back.
James should have won both but the ama decided to give rc points back after he tested for bad fuel. They didn’t give reed his points back for the same violation.
Agreed. I was rooting for Reed and it broke my heart he didn't get the tittle after fighting so hard through injury and just racing 4 strokes. But like Reed said, James was the best that year.

in 2006 Carmichael raced every race, Heath Voss won this title in 2004.
