The simplest and greatest take down I ever used, and was my go to was the outside single sweep. Almost like an outside ankle pick works every single time. As your opponent is circling, what ever side he is circling toward, when he places his lead foot down, transferring his wait onto that leg you change levels, step deep and to the outside of his planted foot, with your mirror foot about one half of your arms length out to the side of his planted foot. You simultaneous ratchet forward onto your lead knee, swinging your trail leg behind and around (outside) as you snatch his planted ankle/foot, lifting it out and away from him as you stand back up from your knee facing the same direction he is facing with his leg in your hands, then return him to the mat for 2 points. It really is much simpler if you see it.
@@Rolothe1st This is very close to what I am describing. However my head would never touch the opponent and it would look more like a sweep and pick, or a sweep snatch and grab. The key is the set up and speed, you wind up with his leg taking all of his defenses away. You can finish the take down how you choose once you have the leg. I usually stood right back up to my feet and elevated it and kicked out the remaining leg. ruclips.net/video/Fkj9X-bwZx4/видео.html&lc=UgzaFV0_LW-JOj3aVLV4AaABAg.92PrYztHw1_9D1OJLPiT4f
The caption says this is a proper single leg sweep and finish ,but it's not the sweep im thinking about im not seeing a literal sweep, does anyone know what I'm talking about ?
@@emmanuelcelestin2455 the sweep would happen at the beginning and would happen with the arm literally done from the side taking the leg out from under the apponent and putting him on his back or his butt ,not lifting the leg and stepping in to knock him down or Turing your body to knock him down it would literally sweep him off his feet and it would be a pretty hard fall what these guys are doing is fine but it's not a literal sweep single that I'm looking to see i've only been to a couple of cambo as it's spelled or Sambo classes, and Anyway I hope I explanied it good enough for you to understand what I'm talking about,.

I’ve always dropped my knee in front. Thank you for the lesson 👍
Crazy how hard the kid in blue shorts was getting his partner to throw his hands to the mat. Beautiful technique.
