I liked the rugby pass you did. Gym I went to before blackbets used half guard pretty much exclusively.
12:13 Lachlan's got the moves!
Thank you so much🙏🏽🙏🏽 I was having trouble with my single leg and you explained it so well!!!! OOS
I am literally taught to this day to pinch the knee’s and throw with my shoulder lol. Oops, it always feels weird, this seems much better. Thank you!
That’s the great thing about wrestling and jiu jitsu, some things may work better for the other and some may not. That’s why you gotta drill and know pros and cons of both or different techniques. It is truly an art
I was taught the same way and it’s never worked for me. Hopefully this does
I personally love to pinch with my knees but each to their own
Drop
Shoot
Pick
Drive
Great video. Thank you for making this. 🙏🙏
It’s so scary for me to do a single leg because when I get them down I always get kneed in the chest😅
I wanted to get good at double legs but that's going to be a long time so maybe next time but this works better probably
Some details: if you attack the left leg with a head inside single your right palm needs to face down and the left hands palm needs to face up. If you do it like in the video ppl can easily break the lock
Thanks coach, precisely explained 🙏
Thanks!!
Is the gable grip the better hand position. ???
It's a sweep single, get the guy to commit that left leg forward first
Great Videos!!! Thank you!
Taking the leg from the back seems to be a long way
He said you'd get guillotine'd if you went for the other one
Great info!
It’s BJJ. Why bother fighting the takedown?
Do you put the shoulder on the thigh, your head or your chest on the thigh
Ben askren said shoulder to the abdomen
6:47 run the pipe
awesome
Never been taught to shoot a single on the back leg man. Not a good option, to easy to counter.
Nationalism Above All yeah takes too long to reach
I was thinking the same thing. I've never had a mma coach tell me to shoot to the back leg
Yeah. I mean, if someone knows what you are doing, you are opening yourself for a brutal KO in MMA if you shoot for the back leg like that
Nationalism Above All me neither, but Giles is a national wrestling champion
Nationalism Above All
I think the gable grip is the better grip ???
