Today we look at a rather temperamental custom keyboard I made out of a parts kit from a Chinese company called Quiming, namely the M0654. I got it off Amazon for a few dollars and today I present you the results!

It _would_ be a _keyboard for ants_ if I left one on my desk overnight
I saw a giant chocolate bar on the road as a kid on a hot day. I knew it was wrong but I picked it up to see if i could salvage some of it like the disgusting beast that I am. To my horror ants were all over it so I dropped it and sat down to mourn the loss of a giant bar of chocolate I couldn't eat. But I discovered something amazing. A single line of ants were going back and forth to the bar and I'd never seen this before. They were carrying little bits of it somewhere and that made my day. I'd discovered ant intelligence.

This is the sweetest little keyboard I've seen, bar none. So cute it makes one melt. No chance of a Cherry variant in future ?

it all got a bit dark for me on the tail end of the video. I like things a little twisted but I needed someone to hold my hand through that.
The layout is odd --- it seems to be ISO, but it's missing the |\ key between left shift and Z, even though it has the #~ key to the left of ENTER. Is this one of the odder Japanese or Chinese layouts?
Nice that it comes in ISO.

For those of you lucky enough to have a local Chocolatier in your area, you may be able to get a chocolate keyboard of your own, and with commercial grade quality, at that!
Okay, so maybe you're not me, and don't live somewhere with three separate chocolate stores in driving distance.

It's ISO+ANSI so it is not a good keyboard.. unless eaten..
With reference to 6:23 I don't think it uses an OLED? I think it has an LCD due to burn in issues

How good does the keyboard taste, and how easy was it to chew? Most of my keyboards are very hard to chew, and usually taste very metallic, and bland in other areas. I’m thinking of getting better tasting keyboards that are also easier to chew.

Rewatching this, I suddenly recall that I once read that the lit up buttons on the consoles in star trek tos were actually translucent bits of hard candy with a small light bulb beneath to make them light up. Ah, star trek ahead of it's time again. :D
Hey guys, unrelated question : I have a blue alps board in very good condition, but my big ass enter key is binding pretty severely and my shift keys are extremely rattly. I guess lubing the stabilizers is what I should do right ? If so, would Krytox 205g0 be my best choice ? Thanks 🙂

Chocolate keyboards probably sound quieter than cream keybaords, making them way better in comparison.

I'd suggest a Chocolate Liqueur to go with the keyboard review. There are chocolate flaved beers I think but ... eeew.
Ah, I can see myself now typing away on that chocolate keyboard and sipping tea from my chocolate teacup set. Good times :^)

Definitely do not carry this keep in your pocket. Easy to mod into a 60 or 75 format though.
