- The WWE fans booed me out of the building during the Monday Night RAW. I was the GM of RAW on this night and set up a match with Eugene, Triple H, and Ric Flair vs Chris Benoit and Edge. This is the night that Eugene hit Benoit with a chair, and the WWE fans did not like it.

You never got enough credit for taking a crap gimmick and turning into gold and its sad that wrestling fans never got to see you for the true brilliant in ring worker you truly are in the WWE. Hope you are doing well and still preforming your craft on the indies and thank you for your contributions to the wreslting industry.

Eugene was a gimmick that got as many miles out of it that they possibly could. Maybe they left 10% on the table. You were FANTASTIC at it. I loved the concept. I loved what you did with it. Not many could have pulled it off. The only thing is that Nick Dinsmore - the person - who could ALSO wrestle his ass off, didn't get a chance to shine, & anyone who knows your title history around the mid-tier indies/developmental type areas, (What would now be considered NWA/NXT/TNA/ROH), you absolutely OWNED in those areas. You kind of were the baseball equivalent to a AAAA player, that never got the chance to start full time in your own position, in the leadoff spot & do your thing. They buried you in the #8 hole, had you play 1B instead of RF, & then said "Well this is why he isn't that good." Had they used you to your full talents, I think you not only would have had the chance to show character development, but also had more legs on TV, & drew more money, which would have meant more title success. Cornette understood that, but sadly, not everyone is Jim.
My most fond Eugene memory was I took a vacation to Tijuana Mexico with my family and saw your Street fight with Gene Snitsky in Spanish thought it was pretty entertaining
WWE needs to bring back Eugene. It was a truly ground breaking gimmick. Even if temporary, he represented such a humongous viewership of the product. I’d say bring Eugene back and team him up with Cena before he retires completely.

It wasn’t though, a huge viewership of the WWE IS mentally disabled people who love and idolize wrestlers. IRL they would be manipulated with ease by heels they idolized. Nick played that character with grace. I was glad when he got to add depth to Eugene instead of playing the blithering idiot he did in the beginning.

This character would kill it today because the fans would understand that their are part of the storyline not just spectators.
I liked the Angry Eugene gimmick, wish they would've done more with it, there could have been some interesting angles.

My home town is Winnipeg Manitoba. I'll definitely always be remembering that night Eugene was general manager and the whole musical chairs and bouncy castle office segments.

I grew up watching you when I was a kid. I legit thought you were a special person and I didn't know this was a gimmick lol. I enjoyed it and you were one of my favorite wrestlers at the time!

As a kid born in ‘99 I was around for the whole Eugene run, I wanna say thank you for making my childhood great and thank you for taking something that was kinda of a unusual gimmick and making it GOLDEN. 📌

Mr. Dinsmore is one of the most memorable sports entertainers I've had the pleasure to watch in my near 50 years on this planet. The ability to create a believable larger than life character has been lost amongst the younger talent involved today, so I appreciate all the work people like Mr. Dinsmore put into their art back in the day.

I started to like him when he turned heel: "AM SPACIAL!!! AM SPACIAL!!!". I wish they had gone with that heel run and after that turn him normal by letting him run against a wall or something.
