God, I needed this so much. I don’t know how he does it but he always puts a song out that describes exactly what I’m going through, exactly when I need it the most. I’m so thankful that this man exists.
@@jimmybraum942 I was about to say that Brian Fallon is from another time. A Springsteen-Seger-esque time. Sounds and souls that can not ever be replaced.
Every time he releases a song, I get nervous because I don't want his streak of every song he's ever made being great to end. Yet every time he releases a song, he continues that streak.
It’s been nearly 365 days since I’ve spent quality times with my sons. I love you Noah Luke and mark!! Daddy prays for the day I get to see you again!!
I don't know how he does it, but Brian Fallon consistently writes the most human songs I've ever heard. Every single one of them is either an uplifting celebration of life, or a knife straight through the heart. All of them truly capture what it is to love, hurt, and live.
This is GOLD. The lyrics and meaning behind them is poetry at its finest. The music and production is pure ROCK AND FUCKIN ROLL! Keep them coming Fallon!
Brian is a hidden gem. It's a darn shame more people aren't able to be blessed by his music. Hopefully that changes for his sake and the sake of the music industry.
A good friend of mine just told me this song is about quitting smoking and it makes so much sense now!! "We used to talk over coffee" "I used to breathe you in" "Call it breaking a habit"
I love the quality and depth of Brian's solo stuff. I also love how he hasn't been 'accepted' fully by mainstream radio and the new generation who seems to confusingly love artists like Lewis Capaldi's work but have overlooked Brians superior song writing and compositions' , Just because he isn't a 'Instagram star' . Always keep it original Brian, its really appreciated in this modern era of false perception on social media.
I don’t know how Brian can do it. But he has a song for everyone. His music reaches into your soul and touches you. His music is the music of our life soundtrack. He is a young Bruce Springsteen, with soul of Bob Seger and a hint of Bob Dylan.
It’s so easy to fall in love. It’s not hard to get lost down this river. I miss you most in the morning We used to talk over coffee But now I’m gonna have to find another friend When it’s over we do the leaving we do crying we do the healing. And they say 21 days ‘till I don’t miss you. It’s so nice in the night I would breathe you in. You would lie and say, “my friend, I’m just waiting on the rapture trying to minimise the damage and hoping to keep my idle hands occupied” When it’s over we do the leaving we do the crying we do the healing. They say 21 days ‘till I don’t miss you. Call it breaking the habit. Call it falling out of love. Call it breaking the habit, One day at a time. When it’s over we do the leaving we do the crying we do the healing. And they say 21 days ‘till I don’t miss you. (21 day ‘till I don’t miss you) Call it breaking the habit (21 days ‘till I don’t miss you) One day at a time. (21 days ‘till I don’t miss you) Call it breaking the habit (21 days ‘till I don’t miss you) One day, this time. (21 days ‘till I don’t miss you) Call it being transformed (21 days ‘till I don’t miss you) And out of your mind (21 days ‘till I don’t miss you) Call it breaking the habit (21 days ‘till I don’t miss you)
Was due to see him live on the 18th of this month, disappointed is an understatement but this virus has caused carnage to the world, stay safe everyone and keep listening to Mr Fallon
I am so glad I found this dude. He's been my favorite for about a year now. Which is refreshing because everything I was listening was getting stale. And then I found his music and felt that love for music again. Like I felt like I "needed" these songs which I hadn't felt for a long time. Thanks Brian.
This is gonna he his best album yet, I'm calling it now. I've always loved his voice, don't get me wrong, but he's gotten SO much better at singing since the Gaslight Anthem days without losing that gravelly edge that makes it so distinct.
I know these are two different bands with very different singers. I would love to hear Brian and Justin from blue October to get together and rock out some acoustical tunes. They both know how to uniquely touch upon the heartstrings of the broken, lost, hurt ones who need to know they are not alone. This is a great tune by the way super excited for March give me some of that local honey
Story time, at the gaslight anthem show, young traveling groupie from the garden state tells me and my other... with respect, you have to be the oldest gaslight anthem fans I've ever seen. Knowing why and what you like in a band is essential. The band rose up in old school tradition, very organic. They have what it takes. With age comes wisdom. May be contagious.
I love this! Brian's been one of my favorite artists for a long, long while. Still miss those Gaslight tunes and shows, but it's awesome that we still get this great music.
Man. I can’t listen to him without thinking back to seeing “‘59 Sound” on Fuse for the first time. This song put that old highlight reel on that flashes before you in your mind for me. Very big sound and yet so soft and gentle. I dig it.
I remember I was 18 or 19 at Bloomfield Ave Cafe in Montclair NJ hearing Brian sing in This Charming Man (what turned into Gaslight Anthem) in front of maybe 30 people. I had a chill down my spine listening to him back then, I remember thinking to myself that he's going to make it big. I was not wrong. Listening to him today I still get that same sensation I did back then.
This guy, has a song for every moment in my life. Through all the pain and there is a lot of it. Keep doing the good work my man, your songs help a guy like me to heal. Knowing there is another that feels the same.
i love the subtle tones he uses in the second verse after the first chorus that reminds me of the lick that is played in Crush that he did with horrible crowes! the more i listen to this song the better it gets \o/
I have missed my chance to see him twice first I had got the tickets but had no way there 2nd never had a way there so never got tickets, but damn his music amazing...one of the few artist that have actual talent. The fact that ppl like nicki minaj, cardi b, toby keth, lil wayne, or nickleback are more famous than him shows how sad mainstream music is.
AWESOME!! Brian Fallon, please come back to Fargo, ND on the next tour!! Give us another shot. 🙏 THE GASLIGHT ANTHEM show 10 years ago was on a holiday weekend, and Fargo didn't represent like they normally do because of it. :-( The Fargo Theatre, Sanctuary Events Center, or TAK Music Venue would be perfect for you. I dig the drums on this tune BTW. I'm stoked for the new album!!
I love it. “Words and Music man, words and music...” I feel everything Brian sings. When I saw him in Austin off his last solo it was mesmerizing and nothing but true emotion fun. Can’t wait til next time. 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼
Brian songs rarely dissapoint, and this one is no exception. I like the electronic sounds on this as well, definitely something new for him. The production is, for the most part, great, but maybe his voice is produced too cleanly on the higher register stuff? I love his cracking/straining vocal delivery on past songs, and, admit, I was waiting for it here, but it didn't happen. Hits that much harder for me, personally. Who knows, though, maybe he was working to really nail those higher parts cleanly. Can't wait to see this stuff live. Can't wait for the album. Big love to BF.
I wasn’t a huge fan of Sleepwalkers. I’m probably in the minority. I needed this one. It’s got some Get Hurt vibes. I love it. I’m super excited about this album. 2/2 on the singles. High hopes for this album.
Me too!! I was so disappointed by sleepwalkers. Get Hurt was one of my favorite albums from the moment it came out and then helped me through a break up years later and this song could totally pass as another track on it. I love it.
This song has a different approach than Painkillers, Sleepwalkers, Silence and Stolen my Heart This feels more modern and ethereal but it has the same emotion like most of his songs

Every single time
Kat Graves 🌙 SAME! It’s crazy
Definitely
Best thing about this artist, he doesn't put out stuff to put it out. He makes sure he has something grand before he sends it to us.
Grand. Right
Absolutely correct!! He's so incredible. My favorite singer/songwriter of the past 10+ years for sure!
Michael Gilbert couldn’t of said it better myself
I like the approach that Brian has taken with this new album releasing a song about every 8 weeks or so
God bless Brian Fallon. By far one of the greatest songwriters of our time.
All time*
This song is gonna be on a 21 days continuous loop for me
So happy to live in the era of Brian Fallon
Well said
Im glad to say no matter what: Ive lived in the same time period as Bruce Springsteen, Bob Seger and Brian Fallon
Jimmy Braum I assume by that you’ve seen a few more winters than me... I only hope I can boast such a impressive compilation 👍
Im only 28, but they've all been active

This is so true man! Every time!

Best kept secret in music. It makes it feel like his fans are all a sort of "family" much like Springsteen was before Born to Run hit.

Merci Brian ! Bon baisé de France !❤❤❤❤
