I saw Beetlejuice Beetlejuice opening day, and it was an absolute blast. Michael Keaton did not lose his touch as the trickster demon whatsoever

Jack Nicholson did a great job playing the Joker in 1989’s ‘Batman’, one of my top 5 most favorite live action DC movies of all time.
Tim Burton made me love movies. Creative, quirky, over the top, camp but always with a heart. And always on the side of outcasts. The nerds, the goths, the homeless, the dead, they all are the normal ones in his movies. And for someone who never feels that he belongs anywhere it is so nice knowing we have a place where we belong❤

Tim Burton gave us the greatest version of Batman of all time. That's why I love rewatching Him,The Joker,The Penguin and Catwoman in both Batman (1989) and Batman Returns (1992). so much fun those movies are.

The nightmare before Christmas is one of my favorite
It was a great to see actress Winona Ryder play Lydia Deetz (from teen to fully grown woman turned single mom) again in the 2024 sequel.

Why am I not surprised that Beetlejuice made number 1 on this list, Although it feels kinda fitting both because he's one of Tim Burton's most iconic characters and it's a good way to celebrate the release of the sequel.

While he isn't the most relatable, my all time favorite Tim Burton characters would have to Beetlejuice, Jack Skelington, and Willie Wonka! Beetlejuice is hilarious(same goes for Willie) and Jack is charisma incarnate!

This is an odd take but I liked Estella Warren as Daena in Planet Of The Apes(2001). She definitely deserved better as an actress and character and was very attractive.

Tim Burton is my all time favorite movie director. His zany and creative imagination, along with his iconic visual storytelling is what makes him so unique and one of a kind! Jack Skellington is my favorite character of his.
Jack Nicholson as the Joker was the closest to the Joker's origin story, and he did a good job (much better than I had thought he'd be, btw), and had him looking more like he looked in the comics with his white skin, green hair and blood-red lips.. Heath Ledger also did a good job, personality-wise, but the makeup was not canon to the original story.
Martin Landau, as Bela Lugosi, captured the man that I'd read about in his biographies, and the struggles (shall we say) he went through after his star faded.
In their own ways, each character was well done and were shown to be who or what Tim Burton meant them to be, along with the actors who performed or voiced them..

I’m kinda sad Pee-Wee Herman played by the late great Paul Rubens rip 🙏didn’t even get an honorable mention on here! He was the first iconic most loved Tim Burton character and this list honestly feels incomplete without him.

Great list. I love Jack Nicholson's Joker because of how underrated he has become, compared to Heath Ledger and Joaquin Phoenix's performance.
Micheal Keaton (And Burton) did a great job conveying the truth about Batman, that he is a vigilante pretending to be a billionaire. "Bruce" has always seen himself as Batman first.
Ed Wood is my favorite character in my favorite Tim Burton movie.

Definitely agree with the top three, but I think the order should be 1: Jack, 2: Beetlejuice, 3: Edward. Find me another movie with more merch out there than the Nightmare Before Christmas. I know that's not everything, but he's just easily one of the most recognizable and beloved characters.
