This truly is a hidden gem of an anime. Clara being the definition of chaotic neutral, Azz-Azz being the best wingman, and Iruma being a treasure truly make one of the best comedy trios I've ever seen. Add the fantastic soundtrack, the breathtaking animation, the mysteries that follow their story and misadventures, and the laughs that can leave you sore from laughing make this one stellar anime.

Someone said ''the manga goes far and beyond what the anime's scracthed'' and I can stress how right they are. It is incredible and the worldbuilding only gets better, character development, level ups etc. Even some slight glimpses into the feature of the demon world ;)
The character development really surprised me when I read the manga. I thought the misfit class would be some randos we’ll never get to know at first but the harvest and music festival arcs made me love them all

FYI if you were wondering, the end of the second season did confirm that a third season is on its way. Although an exact release date for the third season has yet to be announced, the general fan consensus suggests it will come out in the fall of this year. I will also confirm that the manga definitely has enough content for at least a fourth season already and is still being written.

This is a fantastic anime that caters well to the battle shounen fans and slice of life fans! A beautiful middle ground, and honestly my favorite manga that's currently ongoing! 9.5/10 in my opinion!

Iruma-kun is prob one of my favorite animes in recent years and the fact it got 2 seasons with a third on the way is just amazing. It was such a hidden gem and remimds me of old 90's anime i use to watch as a kid.
Man, that's the kind of moment where not being able to support is painful. I mean, you're talking about my boy Iruma ( Keep going, you'll love it more the further you go ), and even then, you're able to find and describe things that i wouldn't have been able to explain or find myself in such an exhilarating and fun way. Love this kind of review with detail's explanation, be sure that i'll keep looking forward to your content.
This anime has got literally everything: really funny comedy, actually good relationships *without* forgetting or just plain using secondary characters, character growth, great mysteries, and gorgeous levels of OOMPH that are awesome. It generally plot twists and expands on the life out of *every* character! It's crazy! And most importantly, the quality is not just consistent throughout the anime, but it grows as well! I'm surprised you didn't mention the fact that Kalego's va is also the va of Sebastian, the demon from Black Butler. He's once again voicing a demon that's bound to serve a human and surrounded by fools. I can't wait to see part two, and I hope you do s2 too! It's really good!
Finally my boy Iruma is getting some recognition... this anime and manga is underrated imo, the comedy, worldbuilding and character development are amazing, it has some tense action-packed arcs next to heartwarming, wholesome, relaxing moments.
There is a reason this series is my comfort manga, it's so freakishly wholesome. The anime is great and I hope you get to cover the second season as well because royal one is pretty much the moment I got hooked. I hope you get to read the manga as well because while the anime is great the mangaka just has a way with drawing expressions that is really on another level.
Actually started watching a few episodes of this weekly a couple months ago and almost done with Season 2, so glad to see this in my sub feed! Ameri is hands-down best girl throughout. Also I can’t believe I didn’t notice Sully has Kiryu’s VA till you pointed it out. Holy crap, the talent that man has!
Clara is life. She is adorable, funny, caring, friendly, sometimes selfish, and loyal. This kind of character easily can and usually does become my least favorite because they are annoying. But Clara is the perfect blend. Plus she has the funniest lines and reactions of any character. And then you see her with her family and your heart melts. Ameri is sexy af, even though they are very inconsistent with her character animation, but Clara is #1
This is one of those shows that I went in with 0 expectations, thinking I could just drop it after a few episodes if I didn't like it. Ended up watching the whole thing in a day. It's so good in every aspect and Clara is absolutely precious.
Really pleasantly surprised to see you covering such an underrated series. Almost as pleasantly surprised as I was when I learned that season 3 is already confirmed.
I've seen a good handful of anime and manga, but this one is my absolute favorite. It's wholesome and hilarious, and I can't help but root for the main characters. The fan service is kept almost at a minimum, which I massively appreciate as an asexual. One of the things I love most about this series is just watching as his friend group grows, and it feels like he's accidentally putting together this army. He's accidentally strong and because of this, others have high expectations of him and follow him almost blindly because of how cool a demon he is. This is a bit of an overused trope, but this one does it so well that it's fun. Watching as this cinnamon bun of a character gain this increasing mass of a group of friends through both action and wholesomeness is just so great. So many parts of this anime/manga is made to subvert expectations, and funnily enough, it's pretty much the same for characters in this series. 10/10 for me
This is my favorite and comfort anime... waiting for you to finish the half of it and probably until the season2 of this I've been smiling the whole 43 minutes that my cheeks hurt! great work sir!!!

I remember scrolling through netflix to watch some new series, and "Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun" popped up. At first, I thought it would just be another slice of life anime, so I watched the first episode, then another, then another, until I suddenly finished season 1. I was so hungry for more that I actually started reading the manga. All I can say is that this series became my comfort series and I am always excited to read the new chapters. I definitely recommend this series if you're looking for a feel-good one with a little bit of spice in some areas. By spice, I mean the plot is not just a slice of life and there's actually a much more deeper story in its plot. In the later chapters, there are really great new characters introduced that you would love. I also think it's a plus that there are LGBTQI+ elements that isn't really the main but it's great to see. Haha sorry for the quite long review. I just want more people to give this series a try. :DDD

finally some more attention for this amazing anime/manga! this anime has it's animation limits probably due to budget but even within those limits they deliver something amazing! second season was amazing too! i would recommend for everyone to watch both seasons and read the manga, you'll not regret it!

I really love everything about this anime! Especially the manga. The slice of life, shounen, school life, isekai and romance all in one anime is just pure awesome. I LOVE the pace of the story and everytime he smile as iruma, as irumi, as iruchad AND IRUMI-CHAD, it hits the kokoro

This is really one of the shows where despite being light hearted, the tension in each moment is built so well, but all the while you get this giddy smile plastered on your face for the whole 30 minutes in each episode.
This anime reminds me a lot of Rosario Vampire’s anime which covered the “comedy” part of the manga. Short point; Rosario Vampire’s comedy wasn’t great. They actually changed the genre of the manga to get better reviews. Iruma-kun feels like what that show could’ve done well in the comedy aspect with basically the same premise. I really like Iruma-kun and I can’t wait to see where it goes from here, I genuinely hope it gets more seasons beyond 2

Iruma-kun is my favorite currently running shounen and it's always great to see it get more attention. Hopefully you'll continue on to Season 2, because this is actually the weaker season.

If you like anime changing styles you should check out monogatari series, not only changes styles within every episode without losing its original art designs but it has a new opening every time it starts a new plot arc
Man, Iruma became one of my favorite animes. It’s like a better version mha when it comes down to characters. Everyone in class 13 I remember, names we still working on but knowing what they do and personality individually, hell yeah. I was put down by the bright colors in the anime so I read the manga. Changed my life, was rooting for my babies and everyone in that show. They’re so well written that even the background characters I remember something they did.
This is my favorite manga ever and I'm so happy I accidentally stumpled upon this. Iruma-kun is truly such an awesome series and I genuinely can't wait for season 3, it's gonna be so awesome! Though manga readers know exactly what we're waiting for hehe... made us question our sexuality XD
I remember watching it a long time ago but got bored but by some eldritch elder magic this refuses the leave my head and as i result i watched through season 1 and 2 and waited a bit to binge season 3 and the manga. How does a single show manage to burn it's charm into your soul so easily?

I really love everything about this anime! Especially the manga. The slice of life, shounen, school life, isekai and romance all in one anime is just pure awesome. I LOVE the pace of the story and everytime he smile as iruma, as irumi, as iruchad AND IRUMI-CHAD, it hits the kokoro

This is really one of the shows where despite being light hearted, the tension in each moment is built so well, but all the while you get this giddy smile plastered on your face for the whole 30 minutes in each episode.
This anime reminds me a lot of Rosario Vampire’s anime which covered the “comedy” part of the manga. Short point; Rosario Vampire’s comedy wasn’t great. They actually changed the genre of the manga to get better reviews. Iruma-kun feels like what that show could’ve done well in the comedy aspect with basically the same premise. I really like Iruma-kun and I can’t wait to see where it goes from here, I genuinely hope it gets more seasons beyond 2

Iruma-kun is my favorite currently running shounen and it's always great to see it get more attention. Hopefully you'll continue on to Season 2, because this is actually the weaker season.

If you like anime changing styles you should check out monogatari series, not only changes styles within every episode without losing its original art designs but it has a new opening every time it starts a new plot arc

Man, Iruma became one of my favorite animes. It’s like a better version mha when it comes down to characters. Everyone in class 13 I remember, names we still working on but knowing what they do and personality individually, hell yeah. I was put down by the bright colors in the anime so I read the manga. Changed my life, was rooting for my babies and everyone in that show. They’re so well written that even the background characters I remember something they did.
This is my favorite manga ever and I'm so happy I accidentally stumpled upon this. Iruma-kun is truly such an awesome series and I genuinely can't wait for season 3, it's gonna be so awesome!

I remember watching it a long time ago but got bored but by some eldritch elder magic this refuses the leave my head and as i result i watched through season 1 and 2 and waited a bit to binge season 3 and the manga. How does a single show manage to burn it's charm into your soul so easily?
