Do not wallow TSB is here to swallow their senpai! xD Selen is starting to get adjusted to the team!! Love iPN's advices, they're legit gonna make us watching playing better too
This just my own take but atm, while all 3 are good, focusing on axel more would be the most beneficial time efficiency wise. If axel can improve on his game sense, be calmer being the igl, TSB would be placing top 3 consistently I think
Consistently top 3 is nearly impossible. The only team who can do that is Pakaels team and that's why he's called the scrim guardian. Their gameplay right now is does Selen go monster mode at some point? If yes they have a chance.
@@venkaramon consistently not constantly, maybe not 100% of all matches but considering they are now finishing 5-6th place almost all matches, I would say that’s a very realistic goal for them
I get your point, but they cant really “focus” on axel alone since most of the time they die from small mistakes piling up, and that just comes down to the chemistry and experience of the team i’d say
P4kael is the scrim king for a reason. Kuzuha and Vgorilla make it harder as well. Imagine all the other good players in the lobby. It might make it even harder on actual Vsaikyo day.
I wouldn't count this as a TSB win. iPN is subbing after all. the level of competition in VSaikyo is at the point where someone like iPN or rpr has to play with a handicap by only using the P2020. And even with that handicap, them being IGL is still more than enough to get a champion.
True IPN, RPR and Noct are hella good as IGLs. The feel of having a pro as the IGL is different compared to having a non-pro. Its because they completely trust the pros with their comms.
@@Momkiu The crazy part is that iPN says so little and is so clear with his comms. Bang ult drops and he knows exactly where to go, you know he already planned for it before it even dropped.
@@toto8665 That's two Master Ranks and an _active_ pro and since he's subbing in for Altare, that's a huge boost to the team power regardless if he has to play with the P2020 handicap the gap between a pro and a regular predator rank player is pretty wide after all
IPN's IGLing is so good. All those little movements he ordered them to do kept everyone safe and meant they never had to commit to anything risky. He made this win look easy, and I think most of it was just good decision making.
How come there are a number of idiotic comments in this video? You want great Apex videos, Jankz is that way. I'm only here to support a new (not really) team of vtubers. Your negativity can shove off. They knew too. That's why they're doing these scrims
That and they need a confident IGL. Their wins were with their coaches that they trust so they're more confident with their moves. The less hesitation, the less they're vurnerable when executing their plan. IMO, IPN is really good at comms as an IGL. He reassures them when they're on the spot, encourages/hypes them when there's free kills, and gives backup plans when waiting.
Ya when just themelves, like axel altare selen, they r very tense in game, even when just waiting. Their coms also sound very agitated, always overlapping n (tbh i dun think they heard each other at all… 🙈) im not familiar with apex competitions, was it because they r planning wt might happen in each sceanario so axel is always talking abt rotation ? is tht normal for igls? or just too anxious n kept talking? i miss selen‘s bantering as she plays but well serious mode 🤣
@@Momkiu I love how IPN screams when the enemy is low, because it really helped the teammate to focus on them instead. As a person who rarely do voice chat and usually use normal chat, when someone type in caps about low hp enemy, I would focus on that opponent.
@@Momkiu Axel IS confident and decisive, thats why he often clashes with Selen and the coaches with their calls otherwise he wouldve just folded every time. What Axel lacks is a good fight or flight sense, thats why Selen herself and the coaches suggest to assign fight IGL to Selen. Its also why the coaches rarely criticize or question their rotation cuz Axel already has that down to the dot. Axel and Selen complement each other very well, both Axel and Selen have what the other doesnt; Axel has good strategic map reading meanwhile Selen is experienced in fights. Also ofc they would win under a pro player IGL, theyre not pro for nothing and that doesnt say anything about Axel at all. What TSB lacks as a team is good chemistry; they have good chemistry with their banter as streamers but youre gonna need to go deeper than that when it comes to overall team synergy.
that type of igling actually is the hardest one. i play like that. it doesnt matter if my call is right or wrong, i cant even understand why or wtf am i doing when i evaluate my play lol
meanwhile startend could just replace suisei with botan but for some reason they couldnt join a tournament without suisei ever since suisei has became more busy with idol stuff and irl affairs
Altare is more talkative when someone other than Axel is IGL. i am not saying that Axel isn't a good IGL but i am watched all their training sessions and it just seems that when Axel is IGL, Altare is very quiet. When iPN was IGL for this training, Altare spoke up way more.
btw anyone see the shot selen shoot at 4:03 ? she can easily down that guys with r301 or flatline or just r99 on her. i don't understand why she keep pick the nemesis, she's not good with it. i think nemesis is meta so they want atleast 1 person carry it but selen can't use that gun efficiency, she better off using something she familiar with.
I think it's more of the ammo economy. Because right now energy weapon usage has increased, the dead boxes doesn't provide enough ammo for light and heavy they are using. Other than that, I think out of everyone, Selen has the highest chance to make the gun work, as Altare already has long range on sniper and Axel is more focused on looking at everything rather than shooting at medium/long range.
This is just scrim so it better to practic stuff than do want u comfort and because it meta too better try to be comfort with it that cant play it at all
Ipn official position is the assistant of the assistant of the assitant of the coach (since rpr mention he's the assistant of the assistant of the coach)
It's a matter of experience. IPN knows what calls to make due to his experience as a pro grinded into instinct. He also regularly plays with Selen off stream and both knows / trusts each other's play style. It's not really fair to compare Axel to IPN. You can replace anyone on the team with IPN and it'll be an improvement.
I don't like Axel play style , he just hide Don't even try to Lvl up their shields i mean why would u hide with white and blue shield bruh at least try to upgrade it till purple to start defensive strat
Have you watch any of their games at all? Every time they have white and blue, they always try to lvl it up especially since they have altare sniping. Also they hide when they have blue and white cus teams will easily push them so they play it safe and lvl it up until they have better armor

Bruh it's positional and their shield/meds economy status,in short its situational..if their position allow them like they have a good spot where they can peek and shoot freely then you'll see they let Altare do the farming Armor exp like most of the time, even Axel did the same but they just let Altare do it for 2 specific reason : 1.He's cracked with his Sniper 2.So they dont exhaust themself for using too much cells/meds ..the thing is it's also situational.Even if they found a good spot but they only have small amount of cells and meds, why take the risk farming for armor exp if it cost them their precious cells/meds? What is purple armor if in the end they have 0 cells to fill it up?
i watched all of their vsaikyo practices. they do evolve their shields by poking using Altare’s sniper and occasionally poking a team if there is one nearby. The other 2 can hold out their position. Remember this is VSaikyo. They have to play for end game so early engagements will most likely end up with 3rd party and bottom placements. They’re doing good and their best based on their situation.
