- The 2021 Suzuki Swift Sport features a 6-speed manual transmission gearbox and everything else a car needs to put a smile on your face, even if you may not be able to outsprint any sports car. I have ever driven a 4-pedal car. The other pedal was at the passenger’s side, and the only passenger usually judged my driving a lot.

Manual gearbox, manual handbrake are so rare in modern cars. Nice to see it still exists. I didn't know it is complicated to pull or push a gear lever or a clutch pedal 😂

I've just bought one of these and I'm loving it more with every single drive. It's just fun to drive. Not the fastest, or the most refined, but it's just fun to drive. Managed to scare a few friends turning into corners with this thing.

We've owned the Mk1 and Mk2 Swift Sport and they were great, but what have they done to the Mk3? When it first came out it was quicker than the old ones but now they've turned it into a mild hybrid and it's slower than ever!
Hey. Suzuki converted the 140 HP to this 129 HP Hybride because of the pollution laws, mainly in Europe (I know because I live in France).
But don't worry for the numbers of Suzuki. The 0-100 km/h in 9,1 sec is exagerated. The real result is around 8 sec (the 140hp was 7,4 sec instead of 8,1 sec anounced by Suzuki too).
In fact, on the mild hybride, you have 129 HP and 235 nm of torque from 2000 tr/min (instead of 230 nm from 2500 tr/min) + 13 HP and 53 nm with the electric motor.
You have a better torque at low RPM than the 140 HP version. It's fun to drive and more enjoyable for daily driving.
I can assure you that the mild hybride version is faster than Mk1 and Mk2 version of the Swift Sport. But just go try it, you won't regret it ;)
@@sebastiensrb1299 Thank S. We're currently driving the Picanto GTLine-S, which is a pretty good little mover once you coax it into life. The 'official' 0-60 time is 9.9 but I read in one of the motor magazines that if you give it the welly it'll do it in 9.1, and believe me it feels like it! And it'll have to do for now as we have a 7 year warranty and new cars have just got very expensive! Thanks for the info.

This Booster Jet engine sounds like you can only pump 98 Octane and above petrol?
Nope 95 is fine. I own the non hybrid one with the 140PS.
The mild hybrid version also has 140 Ps ;). You get + 13 PS because of the battery 🔋

In fact this version can support more than 300 nm with a remap instead of 290 nm in the old version !
The clutch system supports a lot more.

A Mild Hybrid car only use their electric motors to support the engine during acceleration and cruising!
