This video is great, and I can vouch for all of these habits. Since the start of the pandemic my brain fog has significantly gotten worse due to the lack of exercise, sleep, and nutrition. I was getting frustrated because I was no longer able to have the same laser focus that I had before. Starting 2023 I began to exercise for a minimum of 30 minutes a day, sleep 7-8 hours a night, and eat high quality foods. My focus is now back, and my head is super clear. I love this feeling, and I never want to go back. I'm thinking of starting meditation too, as that might improve my headspace further.
Wow, I can relate to this! So happy to that you got your focus back and you got a system in place. I think for me the diet and sleep really helped with the energy levels overall
Brain fog is such a hidden killer for people, sometimes until you know what a different feeling is to compare it to you don't even know how bad you have it. These are such good tips to combat it!
Proper hydration seems obvious, but it's hard to keep up with sometimes - when you do drink plenty of water for a few days though, it's wild the difference it makes. I've also found that some cold sparkling water can help kick-start my alertness in a healthy way.
Thanks for coming at the right time! I've been going through this these past few months and I'm only starting to see improvement! These tips will definitely help! :)
Thank you for this video! Everything you explained is exactly what I have been struggling with lately. I already do cold morning showers but now I need to implement the rest of the habits to tap into my full potential.
@@edwardleefilms it is! but thanks to nw research ( Andrew Huberman ) backed with science, the optimum time is actually 10-6pm because of our circadian rhythm's!
Edward always has great and insightful ideas. Thanks for sharing, love your content! I know that cold showers are great for you but not always easy to jump into it.
The main problem for me is overthinking and constant extreme brain activity. It's like overtime my brain is just exhausted all the time plus still going on non-stop. Imagine a football player not being able to geto out and stop running around on the field, 24/7, forever, can't stop to eat or go to the bathroom or anything
I used to take cold showers after my gym session, but after hearing Huberman talk about it being a potent anti-inflammatory which might counteract some of the hard earned gains - I take them straight after waking up :)
Great video! Getting enough sleep and switching environments worked great in my experience. Going for the morning exercise(in my case going for a run) also helps me start the day on a positive and cheerful note. Also just getting some fresh air going for a walk outside helps when you feel groggy. I will definitely try out the others you mentioned in the video. Keep this type of videos coming, they are very helpful! 7:24 that RWB poster😍!
Also be mindful of health issues. Iron, or/and magnesium deficiencies will leave you in a state of perpetual brain haze that no amount of meditation, running, fasting etc will banish. Thyroid issues too can give you that quicksand brand - as will stress.

What’s Ed wearing on wrist?
It's a Whoop! Whoop is like an Apple Watch or an Oura Ring for tracking sleep, exercise, etc.
